This quaint small cafe lay in a small area along Matalino St. A friend of mine who fancies and visit this place recommended that we try it as well. Our group of 10 was well seated in this cafe, given that it had lots of ample seats for everyone. 128522

The interior and decorations were very cute and picture-worthy 10084

We practically ordered every cheesecake displayed as well as some of the available crepes they have. Their personalized name plating makes it different which amazes the people I was with. (IMO, plating looked messy 128533)

Service was a bit slow when we visited and the orders took awhile to be served. 128078🏻

One of our favorite dessert place at matalino.

My friend and i got their Mango madness crepe P195. The simplicity of the crepe got me hooked by just having the right amount of mangoes inside the crepe with chocolate and cream topped with vanilla ice cream. A not too sweet dessert with a personal touch (name in the plate). Before, the store got packed during weekends, good thing they renovated few months ago having their dining area more spacious enough to accomodate customers, a fresh vibe look interiors and new set of tables and chairs. Servers are courteous and friendly. Having that keen knowledge in their products. However, the downside: limited parking slots available and our crepe looks very small now unlike before.

My friend introduced me to this place and she asked me to try their "Pastillas Cheesecake" but she ordered it for herself and when I took a bite, I wasn't able to locate the Pastillas on my mouth just the cheesecake. I ordered their "Banana Cream Pie" instead because I love Banoffee pies and I thought the taste was close enough..it somehow was but the cream on top was way toooooo much for its serving. The message on our plates was very sweet though, it said "Stay Cute" on mine haha. The place was lovely and very girly that we took pictures on almost every corner ! :)

I love how the ice cream topping did not melt despite the warm crepe. I am not a fan of very thin crepes that gets destroyed at the very first cut/bite. This crepe passed the test of firmness. Plus Who wouldn't want their plate decorated by caramel and chocolate spelling their names? The place is quite bare, however. I've been eyeing this place for some time now and im surprised that the interior seems to be incomplete/unfinished -- it looks like they're not yet through unpacking things til now.

The test of a good crepe place lies in their version of the most basic of all - butter and sugar. The simplicity of the ingredients allows one to savor the texture and subtle sweetness of the crepe itself. I was pleasantly surprised that when my order arrived, the plate had been decorated with fancy artwork (hence, the name pala). The personal touch is also a cute gesture, a bonus to an already delicious crepe.

Had a quick snack before heading to the salon last week. I ordered capuccino and banana chocolate crepe. The cashier asked me write my name in the receipt after paying... Hmmm and just write my nickname on it.

Surprise for their personalized serving. Enjoyed the crepe..masarap!

Perfect for bonding during summer!127846

This is my second review, but I went here for the nth time 128523

NEW INFO:
127837They already serve pasta during weekdays, before they only serve it during Sundays.
✅Also, they have small and big serving for crepes now; before they only have the small size available in the smaller shop along Magiting St. (This branch is closed🚫now, including the Moonleaf Milk Tea place beside it).

As usual, I find it cute that they decorate the plate with my name and vein-like design. My favorite is still Midnight Blueberry127815 Batugs ordered Mango Madness 127819 The vanilla ice cream complements the crepe well 127848

One from duty at ER medicine, Divina S and I went to Matalino St. to find comfort food. After eating isaw, we found this in between Trellis and isawan. They have good and affordable crepes, soft couch, and free wifi. :) They also serve delish cakes. 128077 After a good meal along Matalino St., I highly recommend a dessert here to end a tiring day. One can also study, make reports and research or just chill out in this haven.

I have always liked Fancy Cakes & Crepes' cheesecakes. I first tried their Dulce de Leche flavor, and it was delicious.

I tried few more flavors like Butterfingers and Blueberry Cheesecakes. They also have seasonal flavors like Mango Cheesecake.

The most recent flavor I tried was Toblerone and it was great. It has one piece Toblerone placed on top and Toblerone bits inside the cheesecake. One slice is not enough for me. :)

Good ambiance, and unlimited coffee for just PhP50! Their crepes can give Café Breton a run for their money.

Fancy some crepes? Well, drop by Fancy Cakes & Crepes for good tasting crepes that have your name written down with caramel or chocolate sauce! #failendorser128076128557

Moving on, my mom and I decided to have a mother-daughter bonding time after my dental appointment. Since my dentist is just around the corner, we thought of trying Fancy Cakes and Crepes beside Trellis. The place had this homey feel to it but there were more tables outside than there were inside. Luckily, there were only a few customers when we went so we got a table inside 128077

The crepes were good! I ordered their Speculoos Cookie Butter Crepe and my mom ordered their Mango Madness Crepe. They were good except for the fact that they were a little bit too pricey. Mine costs Php 195 for a crepe with only Cookie Butter spread in it and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I wouldn't pay Php 195 for flour and eggs. But I must say, it's a good crepe place especially if you're looking for a crepe that has this homemade feel to it. 128077 I will visit again to try their cakes and other crepes. Hopefully they lower down their prices so they could have more customers. 128514
