Got the combo meal with longganisa and bagnet. Said to be their bestseller. Was okay. Came with chopped tomato and salted egg. P140. I think the other bagnet resto in the area is better though. They also have pancit ilocos which is also one of their specialties.

I have a favorite resto where i buy my favorite ilocos empanada but that time it was closed because it was still too early. So i tried Farinas since i read from the internet that it's open 24 hours.

I was so disappointed! Their prices may seem cheaper than where i usually buy near makati med, but their empanada that's for P69 seems just half of the one from Empanada nation that's for P73! I was so disappointed!

Taste is ALMOST as good though. I've tasted worse.

Good taste but value for money? I dont think i'll buy from farinas ever again.

Tastes so much like the original ilocos empanadas. Best place to go to when you miss eating the legit versions. They have a lot of choices on what you can put on your empanadas as well. Price is really cheap too!

At less than a P100 you can enjoy a crunchy-explosive Ilocos empanada. What more can your "stahmac" ask for. And just around the area are bars that you can hang-out with friends just in case you need an ambiance upgrade after. Pocket friendly, clean and structured. Simply what a hungry hippo would need ;

I like their empanada than Empanada Nation. Here's a photo of balatong (yellow mongo) used in my empanada.

The service was so slow and the empanada didn't taste the same as those you get from Vigan plaza (I am from Ilocos so I know what authentic tastes like). I have yet to try other things on the menu but service is just really a let down when the place wasn't even really full.

Craved for late night snack so I got myself an orange-colored pie: ilokos empanada. Softboiled egg smearing your plate once u cracked open the crispy orange shell, flavorful longganisa, shredded green papaya and balatong (yellow monggo). I ate with so much gusto half blowing and half chewing the empanada. Mommy Imelda ( the mother of the young owner Bambi) had a lil chitchat with me lastnight telling me that theyre gonna put up a pizza parlor soon. Think pizza with bagnet and vigan longganisa toppings.

In all fairness, the price tag in this place is very affordable. However, serious star deductions came from the texture of the Bagnet and the lack of ambiance. The Bagnet wasn't crispy at all but the longanisa Iloko is great. Salted egg and tomato bits were great sides. It isn't a posh place but rather an everyday filipino spot. It can satisfy cravings and well, hunger. But it may not be the best place to tag along expat friends for some filipino foodtrip.

The gods are smiling at me right now!!! Thank you at may Ilocos empanada na sa Makati!

Ive never even heard of Ilocos empanada until a somewhat recent trip to Laoag. Im so clueless!

I am speechless with the variety of the empanadas they offer here. I usually ask for double langonisa whenever I buy sa mga food fair. Here they have many options for how much egg and langonisa you want.

A first for me is the Ultimate Empanada with egg, langonisa, veggies and bagnet. Of course I had to try that. Wow super sinful. Really good but probably will stick to my double sausage order as mejo rich na talaga sya. I took it home and ate it mga 30 mins later pa and it the wrap was still crunchy.

The next day I went back with a friend and she got the one with cheese, bagay naman pala. Plus 10 pesos lang. We also ordered the miki pero di ko type. Kulang sa flavor ang broth.

Theres a very sweet young lady manning the counter. Ikaw Roegan T ang naalala ko haha. And because it really takes awhile for your order to get done, I talked to her about my love for the Ilocos empanada. I told her I almost went to the fairview store I saw on Looloo just because I was craving for this. She said they can half cook the empanada in the store and you can freeze it at home if you want to serve it at a later time. So, alam na!

Theyre open from 10am - 4am.
