I really felt ripped off after eating here. I ordered a bagnet rice meal for P115 only to be disappointed that it was only 3 pathetic pieces. The flavor was superb, but I just didn't like that wala pa akong subo...bitin na agad..

The exhaust was really bad for this place also. Huhu so bad you'll for sure know that you'll smell like food after.

I was also curious about their empanada but after seeing how it was made, I thought it was very unhealthy and not worth the try. It was deep fried and the fact that it was color orange like kwek kwek just made me cringe even more. Hahaha

Service was weird also. No one was really manning the cashier when I got there and when I tried to ask the guy frying an empanada he didn't really mind me.. Buti nalang another guy coming in with supplies entertained me right away. 128514

Parking is limited because its shared with the other restaurants along the strip. But yayy for finally trying all the restos in this strip already! Achievement unlocked!

Apologies for lack of pictures... The emapanadas are very good here (50 pesos for the special)I also tried their Pakbet (170) and Poqui Poqui for 99 pesos. I will go back to try the other items on the Menu.. The Poqui Poqui was excellent....so was the emapanada.

Had the special empanada with extra cheese! It was delicious. Crispy on the outside, full of veggies meat and cheese on the inside. I was already full after eating one order of this. It's affordable at Ph50.00 per order of special empanada. Will definitely go back to try their other items.

Been missing this since my last trip to ilocos... We weren't even suppose to stop by call it the power of the stomach!
We really weren't hungry so we just wanted to try the empanadas. We got the ultimate w vegetables, egg , longanissa, and bagnet.
Fried to a crisp and best eaten hot... Delish! Even better with the spicy vinegar. I wish ilocos had a really spicy vinegar because there's not enough kick to it.
Verdict delicious! Although I prefer the one I had in vigan more. Cheers!

The traffic along White Plains is super annoying but I'm glad that stretch is filled with good foodie finds.

We tried Fariñas for the first time after passing it a gazillion times. We discovered a new cheap fave. Do try their empanadas (they're known for this anyway I guess) and.....BAGNET PANCIT!

Bagnet pancit comes with generous toppings of bagnet with chicharon and other stuff with flat flavorful noodles. It's a comforting snack or dinner. It's super inexpensive pa. :)

This is my very first Ilocos Empanada, believe it or not!

I have long been curious about this famous empanada and since we have a lot of free time at work (which is so rare and such a blessing!) my colleagues and I decided to give it a try.

Upon arriving to the place and seeing their menu, I was torn if I should get the empanada or get a rice meal.. Mainly because I wanted to have some bagnet with rice too!
But after quite a battle, I decided to get their ULTIMATE empanada.

Ultimate comes with an egg, veggies (mainly bean sprouts aka togue), vigan longanisa and bagnet!!!
They cook this to order so we also had time to hop to the other store and get something to drink.
When it came back, the empanada is on my table waiting for me. It was served hot with the thin and crispy crust, had to slice it in half to see what's inside.
My first bite was crispy, sumptuous and oozing with their delicious vinegar! It was really crunchy and chewy with every bite of the well cooked crispy bagnet and vigan longanisa.
The whole thing looks light but very filling.

The price is surely affordable, and Ultimate serving will cost you Php 99. The place was ok, no ac and just wooden chairs but gives you a feel of authentic pinoy experience.

I can't believe I waited this long to get my first serving of Ilocos Empanada and certainly can't wait for my next one!

When I'm hungry after a few beers, this is definitely where I like to go to get a light snack. Deep fried to crispy perfection, Farinas Illocos empanadas hits the spot all the time! Inside the crispy shell is togue, longganisa and egg which all go perfectly well with their special suka. A must try!

I liked their empanada but I'm hoping they could improve on their other items. For example, I also ordered the bagnet meal with rice and there was hardly any bagnet. The rice serving was more than enough but the bagnet was hardly edible being all skin and mostly FAT --- there was no laman to speak of. Total waste of my 99 pesos. But back to their empanada - it was cheaper and well worth every penny. I guess I'll just stick to ordering this from their menu in the future.

I'm not a big fan of Empanadas coz I think they're too oily, full of veggies (not a veggie person) and bland. However, all of these were changed by Fariñas. The taste was just right, although their vinegar taste a bit below average, right amount of egg, chorizo, bagnet and veggies.

Best of all, they give you the option of removing all the veggies! 128540

We were looking for a new place to eat along White Plains and we've chanced upon Farina's Ilocos Empanada. And I must say that this is one of the best Ilocos empanada I've ever tried.

We ordered the supreme empanada with cheese. It has vegetables, egg, Ilocos longganisa , Bagnet and cheese. The combination of longganisa, egg, and cheese was simply perfect! And the additional crunch from the veggies and empanada pastry was divine!!!!! I must say this is now one of my favorite snack. And it goes well with the Cherry coke we ordered at the specialty store nearby.

We also ordered their Pansit Bagnet. It was too oily and not too heart friendly since it has plenty of chicharon and Bagnet toppings.

We will definitely go back and try their other dishes.

Sorry for the photo! I ate this in the car. :)

I ordered their Special Empanada for 50 php. It has vigan longganisa, egg and veggies. They already have their empanadas prepared they would just fry it when you ordered. Really cheap empanada at its good when you put vinegar as well! Not extraordinary but good enough. :)
