Our go to place when we are in Banawe and need a quick fix. My mom love the food here and even imitate some of the dishes at home. No wonder we always come back every now and then. This Taiwanese turo turo resto serves good and delicious food. At 120 per order. A bit pricey for turo turo but the quality of the food is not compromisd. You should also ask for their service tea which is green tea and really delicious like those authentic teas from Taiwan. Just don't mind the chatty staffs and just think of it as you are in a turo turo. 128513128513128513

Again, i recommend you to try their authentic taiwanese sausage. Not dry and it tastes a bit smoky. Preferred to eat with rice. Increases appetite for rice.
Their white chicken or hainanese chicken cooked perfectly as well.
Crowd of chinese.
好吃啊

Quite pricey for a turo turo type Taiwanese food and yet always jampacked every time I visit. We ordered sweet and sour fish, chicken with nuts and the last one I don't know and I don't dare to try but my mom loved it. She said it was tenga ng baboy. The other 2 dishes are really good. Tasty and flavorful. Do not expect much when it comes to service but it is not that bad at all. 128517

Looking for Taiwanese cuisine here in Manila is pretty hard. It's pretty much limited to peppered pork chops and chicken.

Thankfully I found this place! It's authentic as far as the taste is concerned, even the dishes offered are authentic as well.

Had black peppered rice, fried sausage fried rice, Taiwan pork chop, polunchay, kung pow shrimp, shrimp sautéed with egg and the Taiwan dumpling with kuchay. The dishes may sound weird for some but these are staple Taiwan dishes.

This is actually a small place on the corner, that there are very limited seats with the amount of food cooked, you'd wonder how they finish them - apparently they make a killing on take out food.

Will go back for the soups and other viands as I saw a lot of other folks go for the soups.

Not 5 stars as the service crew are pretty lost on what they're doing, giving water without glasses, food without plates, etc.

Had lunch at this hole in the wall resto that serves authentic Taiwanese food today with my food trip buddy Emil.
So many dishes on display ala carenderia style then I saw their hong ba (humba) and I knew I had to order it. It was good for two so my friend just ordered Mustasa.
It had so much fat I had to control myself from finishing it all ha ha. It tasted better than Hugki's hong ba IMO :)

So i went here to introduce feng wei wee's taiwanese sausage.

Along this, we ordered pork ribs, bangus, kung pao chicken, broccoli

Trust me. They ddnt use vetsin on all of these, lasi walang lasa. I think the taiwanese sausage won the dinner.

For desserts we tried the kiwi, gulaman, and 8 bean shaved ice... The kiwi was too sweet my friend had to dilute it with water. The 8 bean and gulaman were ok. Their shaved ice were really fine.. Like as powdered ice.

And then i finally tried the taiwanese sausage! Alone. This my lunch after my weekly inventory at Sucat. Tried to reserve a seat a greeka for tonight

So... The sausage was very good. They served me this sauce that's weird tasting... I prefer earing the sausage just with plain rice... It's that food that you will really have to eat rice.
Again, the taste was authentic... My veggie is spinach

Spinach btw has natural glutathione so eat a lot of these if you want to get fairer skin... Maybe try to eat for a year? Hahaha. Breakfast lunch dinner spinach!

Their veggie is always at php90;
Their half taiwan sausage is at php125;
Rice is at php30. I had 2 orders.

Servers are fast. Place still high end carenderia :)

OMG this resto is the bomb!!!!! It looks deceiving. To be honest, I always ignored this resto every time i passed by it, questioning its existence. But it turned out to be so good!!!! Their resto is like karinderya style, but THEIR FOOD IS SO GOOD. I was so shocked because i judged this resto's capabilities by its looks. BUT ITS SO GOOD OMG ok kulit ko. I recommend their taosi spareribs, dumplings, noodles, sausage, chicken with nuts (i forgot the exact name) and everything else. Whatever, just try it ok?!!! Hehehe!

A very affordable hole-in-the-wall carinderia in Banawe that offers legit Chinese food. The humba tastes as good as it looks. Other specialties include the humble fishball soup and the homemade Chinese sausage.

Simple at masarap. Mabilis din ang serbisyo. What more can you ask for? But price is not cheap for karinderya style but price is worth the taste and quality.

Simple, home cooked Taiwanese food. No fuss dining. You order food based on what is in their food warmers, however, a menu board is also available. service is fast. cant recall the exact names of the food we ordered. Steamed dumplings, sauteed kuchai leaves, and omelette.

Definitely giving this 5 Stars!

If you're craving for home cooked Taiwanese cuisine, then this is the place for you. It's got a classic old school Binondo restaurant feel in the heart of Banawe. Entering the restaurant, you meet a carinderia style display of home cooked food. Note though that the price isn't very cheap for home cooked food but the quality and taste are very authentic. It hits my heart coming from a Chinese descent to eat in a restaurant like this.
