Mercato Centrale outdoor food festival at SM By The Bay! Different choices of viands and street food conveniently placed in one location. Only for cowboys. Don't expect any fine dining here. Just plain simple no-fuss eating

The Mercato Centrale group brings Fiesta Bahia to SM by the Bay woohoo! 128518

Was at MOA with the fam and Kaye earlier and decided to go to Fiesta Bahia for dinner. Looking around, the place was crowded and smelled like smoke. Medyo naturn-off ako haha and it was hot. Most of the stalls there offered local cuisines but some offered gelato, burgers, Mediterranean and Italian too. Stalls that offered Ihaw-ihaw, bagnet and sisig were among the popular ones

My sister was so intrigued by the Greek food stall so she got herself a Moussaka. A baked dish with layers of potatoes, eggplants, meat, etc. and topped with white sauce. A serving for 100 pesos. The owner was really friendly 128522

Mum had Roast Beef and rice for 130 pesos. She said it was so tender and tastey.

I got this "Bagnet Rice Patong with Egg" which is a rice meal topped with bagnet, veggies and egg for only 85 pesos! I bought another one for my sister, I had a feeling she won't be satisfied with just a slice of Moussaka. I was right haha. The bagnet bits were crispy, and they were so generous with the servings 128055 Tasted really good. *bottom photo*

Baby Back Ribs and rice (and extra rice) for the big boys. 120 pesos each, 15 pesos for extra rice. You get to pick which piece you want. I got to taste the ribs and it was sooo tender. Like fall of the bone. The sauce was really good too. Just wish they served it warmer. *top photo*

The pickiest eater, the bunso refused to eat anything but the chicken skin haha. A cup of chicken skin for 50 pesos. 70 pesos with rice.

Total damage: around 1,200 pesos for 7 people. Walang hindi masarap haha. We all went home with happy tummies. Sulit.

A really good place to find delicious cheap eats 128077I never had the chance to visit Mercato Centrale lol. Oh, they have a live band too. 127908127926128513
