3 stars for platinum?

Yep and I'm giving an honest review.

This is honestly the best gym I've been to. The reason they're not getting a 4 or 5 is that they've fallen short of expectations for such an expensive place.

The good stuff:
Free towels
Good showers
Great ammenities
Tri training area upstairs

Stuff they should know to handle but don't very well:
Face towels run out - this turns yuckie when people sweat on the equipment
There's a sinister red stain on one of the dressing room benches. We all know what that could be and it's been there for a week now
No dry sauna
Noisy coaches - literally yelling beside you while you're running in peace
A baby roach on their coffee counter (mhmm)

So look, these may be first world problems, but I pay premium for first world experiences. It's a great gym but it's not flawless. Maybe if they see this, they can work on it.

And just to be clear, I'm rating them against their "platinum" branding. If this were any other branch maybe the rating would have been higher.

Til then, I'll be sanitizing my way around the place. 128170

Fitness First Platinum's newest branch. Unlike their other Platinum branches, FF's SM Aura's branch has two work out/training stations that I really liked and was nicely unique compared to their other Platinum branches.

First was their lap pool area. Their lap pool area had a triathlon-circuit station for triathletes in training or triathlete wannabes. Right beside the lap pool were stations where members could immediately jump onto a stationary bike and/or thread mill. A good indoor triathlon training simulation indeed.

Secondly, was their outdoor circuit area. Located in an outdoor covered deck with artificial turf grass, they had monkey bars, punching bags, a battle rope, kettle bells, and ViPRfit tubes to simulate a good outdoor circuit and functional training routine.

These routines best maximized with the safe and progressive guidance of one of their certified Personal Trainers.

Just like any FF Platinum branches, members get to use gym issued towels, toiletries, and gym work clothes.

The only challenge from working out at this branch is having the self-discipline of avoiding the sweet constant temptation of eating at the mall's numerous foodie places after a good workout. Good luck128513
