Did my workout here right after meeting up with a friend in Quezon Ave.. The club was wider and quite spacious. Complete equipments especially the machines and weights. The functional area, however, was a bit small from the usual; I think this is the smallest next to Eastwood's.
Their change rooms were neat and clean, maybe change some of the lockers; steam rooms were okay as well. Their staffs were helpful and approachable whenever you need help. I think they only have 2 or 3 exercise rooms - the cinefit, group exercise halls (body jam and body combat) and the cycling room.
I forgot to take a photo while inside the gym, so I took a photo of it from the outside.

I started today and my body's in real pain. After a week of skipping work out, nabigla katawan ko. Group exercise was fun! I tried Body Pump for the first time. Combination of lifting, dead lifts, squats, lunges and crunches. All in one na eh. Their equipments are okay. They also have Plyo & Yoga. I just noticed that their locker room is kinda old already but still okay. What I love is their Sauna and Steam bath. Heh.
One of their PT checked my weight using that machine thing and to my surprise, I am not over weight anymore. Hahaha! He told me I'm still healthy o echosero lang si kuya. 19 lbs to burn though to reach my ideal weight.
PS: Anyone here who's juicing at home? Any advice for a first timer like me? Heheh.

I've always loved Fitness First Spa. It was the kind that deserved 5 stars every single time. Operative word: was.
In this visit, the same massage bundle that I've always availed of (body scrub cum massage) only had 2 choices for the scrub (salt or green tea) instead of the longer list back then (coffee, strawberry, chocolate, etc). The bed wasn't warm like it used to be.
But some things never change, like the price (still at Php 750), the way the massage made me doze off to sleep, and the fact that they let me sleep until I feel that I stayed longer than I should have.

Staff in the reception should be accommodating. Sanitation should be improved. Trainers should be approachable.

One of the largest fitness first branch in the metro. It is newly renovated and the machines/ equipments are new. However cleanliness is really a big issue. Sanitation is a big turn off. Cardio machines are reeking with dried sweat. Steam and shower room floors and tiles are slippery due to mildew.
The water supply is also unreliable. Every morning water pressure is super weak. You can't even wash your whole body decently.
The lockers are bastardized with vandals. And the locker hooks are also purposely broken by members who wants to steal other members things.
On the plus side this fitness first branch has the best and accommodating trainers.

I sooo miss retropop class! Sana lang wala ng discrimination sa mga gx class.. Sana wala ng favoritism.. Cant they see? Madami kaya uma-attend sa retro kesa sa ibang gx class...

I would say the best club here in Manila. Proximity wise and despite the variety of crowd, there's always a company! I am teaching RPM here every Thursdays, 630pm. :-)
