I had a Belle de Jour planner and came with it are coupons to Fitness First.

I availed one of the two coupons, free yoga class. We had to call in days in advance before we can attend. Basically we had to make a reservation.

Came here on Saturday. Their staff mentioned that they had a 10 am yoga class. We were extra extra promp.

Sad to say, there was no class at 10 am 128563128563128563 whut?!?!? This did not happen to us once ! Last week the same thing happened and that was why we rescheduled.

We ended up joining the earliest class 11 am class- Body Jam! This was a group exercise class, not at all yoga. It was very tiring! Haha new beginners like us were drained! There was intense cardio, tube exercises and some core training. Wew!

The class was fun but I would say it isnt for me. I'm more of the Zumba and HipHop person.

Moving on, I find the gym. Just too cold. I don't think that's good for you. It might get you sick...

The gym had a lot of yoga classes and group exercises. Perfect for people who like to work out together with people. They have a lot of variety! Also, they have this movie room, very cool.

I moved here few weeks ago and so far enjoying the perks of being an FF member. This was originally my "home" club but I rarely visit here nowadays because I'm much nearer to their RSC club.

Having a passport membership allows you to visit any Fitness First clubs except Platinum ones. My first workout days were spent here in this branch and was accompanied by Mark, my personal trainor. He gave me 6 routines of Circuit workout like burpees, push-ups, crunches, using the row machine, planking, sprint-then-squat and sit-ups. He also did an evaluation using a machine that will measure your fat and muscle count. So far, I had a perfect balance of both but he advised me to reduce fat and build muscles by working out.

Their facilities were clean and all good to use! Their staffs were accommodating at all times! I just noticed that this branch was the busiest club I've visited so far. Well, it's in a mall so I guess it's quite obvious though. 128513

Love this place especially their sauna room and cinefit where I could watch a movie in a theater like room while working out! Sooo much fun!

Everyone is just so crazy helpful to get you fit and healthy, you'd think they're taking drugs that induce customer service to leak from their pores.

The only other branch i've tried on my passport membership. It was a bit too busy and too crowded for my liking though I'd probably be here every Wed for core classes.

Eastwood, IMO, is much better. 128521

I was planning to hit the gym and I have begun canvassing when a friend invited me to be her guest for three days in fitness first. I've passed by fitness first several times before so I was really surprised when I saw that it was really huge inside. They've got complete facilities and they can accommodate many people. They also have lodging area with wifi and free tea and coffee. There's also a fruit magic branch inside. The locker room, comfort room and shower rooms are neat and well maintained. Their trainers were nice and very helpful. The classes were so much fun, they offer yoga, zumba, belly dancing and many other more, but my favorite was cycling, It would really make you sweat! I wasn't able to walk properly the following day coz of that session (no pain, no gain 128540). They are open as early as 6am and open till 10pm so no problems for students and employees with complicated shifts like me hehe
As for the rates:
For 5 months with unlimited visit cost P18000. 1 give if cash. All in, inclusive of membership, freebies and you will be guided by a trainer for a few days.
If you're gonna pay via credit card, there would be discounts. It would cost P3.1K a month.

Monthly membership is a bit pricey but worth it when you maximize Group X classes, equipments (especially for Vipr and TRX),
Cinefit, and saunas. What's better is that you're already in Megamall, which makes you pretty much accessible to everything! The trainers are def friendly (you can even ask the dietician for bits of info on proper diet), and the members are mostly courteous as well. Healthy lifestyle at its best!
