After mom and sis did some quick Christmas shopping, it was time for early dinner. Because of our mother's undying love for seafood, we then went to dine in Flavours of China for the nth time.

They never fail to entice me with their free kropeck while waiting for the food to be served. Whenever we eat here, I always look forward to their unlimited serving of those chips.

I didn't like where we sat, which was outside the resto. I found it uncomfortable eating while passersby walk from behind. We didn't have that much choice, then, because the place was full of hungry customers.

We ordered Crispy Salt and Pepper Spareribs (P255), Steamed Fish Fillet with Fresh Garlic in Light Superior Sauce (P220), Crispy Noodles with Assorted Seafoods (P220), Chicken Feet with Taosi (P98), and Yang Chow Fried Rice (P200). All of it were still satisfying and delectable. 128077128513

My Mom has a thing for Chinese food. I remember when I was young, she would drag the whole family to eat in a Chinese restaurant. It has never changed. In fact, we've been trying to convince her to try out other cuisines, but we fail every single time.

We were always indulging to Luk Foo's dishes until SM Sucat's Bldg. B was erected. There, Flavours of China found its home -- and so did our family.

Since then, we always go here to have merien-dinner, and sip some Starbucks coffee after. Last Sunday was no different, except the fact that our family grew bigger 'cause of my nieces.

Flavours of China's interior is a straight-forward, dine-and-leave place. There simply are chairs and tables, and the walls are accentuated with some Chinese-inspired paintings.

We always feast on their food whenever we dine here. Normally, we order dumplings as an appetizer, then Yang Chow Rice, fish, beef/pork/chicken, pancit, and drinks. In summer, my parents add cold desserts for them to beat the heat.

Last Sunday's visit was just like that. We ordered Steamed Sharksfin Dumpling, Miki Bihon with Lechon Macau, Half Fried Chicken, Steamed Fish Fillet with Fresh Garlic in Light Superior Sauce, and Yang Chow Fried Rice. The price is very affordable, I must say, but every dish will give your tastebuds a satisfying flavor.

The taste would depend on one's preference. I love Flavours of China's food because it has no short of flavor -- everything has an 'ooh la la' moment -- which I always look for when I eat. This is either me loving their food, or simply getting accustomed to Chinese food.

I guess Mom's legacy in being a Chinese food fanatic will live on because of me and my siblings.

Had chinese food for our afternoon snack/meryenda 128522

We ordered siopao(asado), siomai and siomai noodle soup. The food was decent. They don't have the best dimsum but theirs is okay. The siopao was good but i didn't like the sauce. It tasted peanut-y which, i thought, was unusual to put on siopao. The noodle soup was good & flavorful.

We eat here from time to time since we almost always go to sm sucat for grocery shopping. The service is good. Not much people dine here in the afternoon so you'll have the servers' attention.

Edit: yaaaaay! I got my Chinese badge!🇨🇳128114127881
