I had their Dulce and Gabanana. It had a good buttery and dulce de leche mix of a crust but I would suggest more bananas under the whipped cream. I would also suggest they take out the two lone white chocolates discs on top of it, which had a 'rusty' taste with whatever that orange spritz was.

After dinner its time for some dessert since were already near tomas morato would be better if we eat somewhere near here, so this one was my friend's reco, i barely noticed this shop when passing by so its a 1st for me here.

I tried the butterscotch coffee, and it was not strong. Good. 128522
Also order their mango cheesecake, look at the enticing pic 128522 dont drool it doesnt taste that well. Sorry. It taste like mango pudding with syrup on top with a hard cookie as base. Almost decided to give this a 3 stars until i receive a text to bring home some cheesecake *cheesecake is a common fav in our family, i was lazy to go elsewhere so i took home 2 slices of their cheesecake with seperate caramel syrup and a slice of best kept secret cake.

Both are really goooood. The cheesecake was superb and the best kept secret cake is unique, it has caramel, chocolate, dulce de leche layers hidden under a yellowish caramel burnt icing. If not for the mango cheesecake this is an instant 5 stars but 4 star for now. 128522128522128522

I ordered blueberry streussel and lemon lemongrass since we just came from a wedding and my friends and I wanted to talk some more.

The blueberry streussel was soft and fluffy and it has real blueberries and not just a jam so it's a-ok for me! Lemon lemongrass though was a tad too sweet for my liking.

I also enjoyed the red velvet cupcake and the cookies, I forgot the name.

Place wasn't too crowded since it was already 10pm when we got there. Good place to wind down. There's parking in front of the establishment and a lot of cabs outside. Oh and some tables for smokers.

Went here on the recommendation of good friend Denise Q after looking for a place in QC with a good chocolate cake. 128077 And this inquiry led me to a cafe along Tomas Morato with a dessert they call "The Next Best Thing" - their take on a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream 128525

The cake was moist and VERY soft. Slicing it open with a spoon lets out oozing fudge, and when mixed with a spoon of ice cream made everything fall into place. The chocolate was just right, not too sweet and not too bitter. I can't say that its the best lava cake i've had... but i'm pretty sure its good enough to at least take that next best spot haha 128521128521128521

The carbonara was interesting too. I believe they used quezo de bola instead of parmesan cheese, and it added that unique twist to the flavor. The added saltiness from the quezo de bola was quite welcome! The coffee concoctions are on the sweet side, which really makes this place perfect for sweet tooths.

Took home a box of macarons for the family and i can say they're quite alright too! Will definitely be back next time to try the other desserts. Any recos? 128540

"The Next Best Thing" - This was the name of the lava cake I ate when I went to Fleur de Lys for the first time. It really is the next best thing because it's served hot, the chocolate oozes out of the cake and it's even served with ice cream. Though I did not try the other pastries, they all looked delicious. Even the place was cozy, perfect for studying or for a quiet meeting. Must visit and try!

Tomas Morato certainly offers a wide variety of restaurants to choose from, but you wouldn't want to miss out on this! I was able to try the lava cake that with just one bite, I fell in love with it! How much more the other dishes they offer? Couldn't wait to comeback and try every dish available in the menu. Certainly love at first bite.

Among all the dessert places along Tomas Morato, this one would definitely be my favorite. I got to taste their lava cake and it was the bomb. Literally oozing with chocolate and salted caramel goodness accompanied by a scoop of fresh vanilla ice cream on the side. The cozy and fresh ambiance is always a plus. Fleur De Lys is definitely worth your buck and I would not regret going back again and again to try all their dishes! Nomnom!

Our favorite cake-to-go place nearby office is Fleur de Lys! Good food and desserts that match your favorite coffee.

Here's my favorite cake - Autumn Leaves. Classic chocolate cake topped with white chocolate that comes best with strawberry sauce! Strawberry sauce's sourness blends perfectly with the sweet chocolate. It levels out the cake's sweetness level. However, if you really do have a sweet tooth, try it with the caramel sauce!

Also love their Chocolate Florentines! Crispy thin chocolate cookies that really melt in your mouth! Another must try is their Butter Walnut Cookies that very much complement tea. Go try and experience Fleur De Lys!

Every week, I always try and avoid the Friday rush hour because being stuck in traffic makes me cranky and hungry! Haha. So every Friday, I get to hang out at a new food place in Morato (where I work) until the rush hour madness passes. This week, it was at Fleur De Lys, near Timog Circle.

The servers greeted me warmly upon entering and directed me to a seat upstairs. I got their carbonara and The Next Best Thing, their take on the chocolate lava cake served with ice cream on the side.

The carbonara was creamy and cheesy, peppered with a fair amount of mushrooms and bacon bits. Even the breadstick that came with it was delightfully warm, crunchy-soft and flavorful! I wish there was more than one haha! For dessert, I had them bring up the cake, wringing my hands in excitement lolwat. I recommend placing equal amounts of the warm chocolate cake and the vanilla ice cream into your mouth and mmm. Revel in the warm-hot sensations mingling in your mouth and the union of flavors having a dance party in there! Plus the chocolate melts in your mouth, it's one of the lightest and fluffiest I've had. 128523

It's irritating to meet with people who come late...unless you hold the meeting at Fleur de Lys so you can indulge while you wait.

My all time favorite here is the "Next Best Thing". This chocolate concoction is served with vanilla ice cream on the side.

The trick is to be patient. Let the ice cream melt a little bit so it surrounds the round cake. Then create an opening on the side of the cake so its warm, chocolate center can flow into the ice cream. Its that tooth numbing combination of warm and cold sensation that is priceless.

If you're craving for really good french macarons, this is the place. They offer different flavors of french macarons such as pink himalayan sea salt, lemon chocolate, and matcha among others. A macaron costs 40Php/piece but they are baked well at standard proportions (2in diameter) with enough filling. They also serve tea here for 110Php an order. What I love about their tea is that it is served in a teacup that is in a coffee press fashion and not in tea bags.

They also have yummy cakes and other desserts plus they have their Caramilk ice cream line if you want to cool down.

I'm loving Fleur de Lys' Red Velvet Cheesecake. A made-to-order specialty pastry from this patisserie.

Unlike the usual cheesecakes, their take is a lightly spongy/creamy cheesecake (quite reminiscent in taste and texture of a very good Japanese Cheesecake), with a thin buttery crushed graham cracker crust and topped with a thin layer of whipped cream.

Lightly sweet, nicely tangy, with a spongy/creamy texture that melts in the mouth. Nicely colored with a pinkish hue.

The catch, they only sell these pastry as a whole piece (9inches). A lead order time of 7 days is needed.
