Okay, the food we ordered was sooo good, it is now 3 days later and I am still jonesing for more.

Florabel is a bit pricey, but sooo worth it.

The paté dish though - order extra bread right from the start. Same bread that comes with the dish.

Carbonara - yum. Worth it!

Steak Rice - another yum. Even if you just order that, you'd be good to go!

Beef short rib - it wasn't my favorite because it was a bit sweet, but it was still good. The mash that went with it - so good!

Dessert (Cookies and Cream) - a nice cap to our meal. Next time I'll try one of the chocolate cakes.

Crepe Cake!

They surely nailed the presentation! Just wow!
Instaworthy!

The crepe cake was worth 275 bucks. Kinda pricey but it was really good!

I loved the cream and the chocolate spread that came with it. They surely work well with the cake! I like that the dessert wasn't overly filling!

Tasted like creme brulee too since the top was kinda torched or caramelized128525128525128525128525

Loved their service! Super top notch! 128074🏻

I was excited to try Florabel because of a colleague's advise that the food was great, although pricey.

We ordered baby squid, bistek tagalog and roast chicken and the verdict is... 128528

Why?

Baby squid was cooked in olive oil and it was just so-so. The dish also had sausages, which tasted better than the squid itself. So this was disappointing for me.

Roast chicken was bland. Looked good but tasted nothing - no flavoring whatsoever. And the gravy didn't add/help. So this was a fail for me.

What redeemed this visit was the bistek tagalog. It had the right sourness that I wanted. Weird that it had eggplants in it - but worked well with the beef. Best paired with garlic rice 128077🏼

On top of it all, it was indeed pricey! 3 dishes for P2000++

Wouldn't come back to visit anytime soon 128533

One of the nicest restaurants we've been to.

Comfort dishes: salpicao, carbonara, the steak and the lamb.

For improvement:
1. They could use some addition to their menu, we've been going since early this year and their menu has not been updated since.
2. They should improve on desserts, I can't seem to find a good tasting one
3. They should lower the pricing on some of the dishes (like the salpicao, foie gras salad and the fish dishes).
4. I didn't like the signature Adobo plate

Tip: look for Troy (one of the servers, he's accommodating and pleasant).

Awesome food. Impeccable service! A bit pricey but as they say, you get what you pay for. And this place is definitely worth spending on.

The baby squid and goose liver pate were great appetizers so our expectations were raised but the entrees were a hit and miss. Hits: award-winning adobo, pan seared sea bass (although the foi gras was tiny) and green tea risotto. Miss: spicy tuna salad (lacked flavor) and grilled chicken (too dry). We enjoyed the desserts, frozen brazo & chocnut torte but they weren't "Wow" level. Prices were on the expensive side. Decor was weird. They said they were going for Art Deco but it looked more like an outdoor Mediterranean garden setting. But I did like the high ceiling and generous flower arrangements.

Finally been able to visit Florabel's new/relocated restaurant at the Estancia Mall. More than the place's new brighter and spacious vibe, it was quite a feast to try their updated menu.

While I truly enjoyed our meal, I must say that am loving their Mozarella & Parma Ham Arugula Pizza, the Carbonara with Bacon and Truffles, the Roast Organic Spring Chicken, the Lechon Kawali with Laing, The Chocnut Mousse Torte, and Dark Chocolate Yema Cake.

This visit was for a friend's birthday who decided to celebrate at Florabel. Quite noticeably, while there were some dishes carried over from their Podium branch that I used to frequent, their menu was updated and offered a number of new dishes.

For our appetizers, we enjoyed the Mixed Green Salad with Goat's Cheese, fresh Watermelons, ripe mangos, fresh blueberries & raspberries all tossed in a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The salad was nicely refreshing with the sweet-tarty bite from the fresh berries that nicely balanced with the creamy-sharp Goat's Cheese. Their Pizza was also very good. The crust was thin and nicely charred. The generous toppings of melted , gooey Mozarella & Parma ham was so good with the fresh arugula garnish and basil pesto.

The Chicken Adobo (called Chef Florabel's Award Winning Adobo) was a delicious twist to the usual adobo. The boneless chicken, cooked in a piquant-salty-sour adobo sauce was nicely moist and tasty. The delicious twist was the meat was topped with melted Mozarella Cheese. It was served with fried heart of palm (ubod) spring rolls, which was also good.

Florabel's Carbonara with Truffles was also divine. Served with a poached egg , pasta dish was decadently creamy and rich with the earthy truffle flavors. The chopped bacon and fresh mushrooms added a nice texture and taste to the creamy dish.

The Roast Organic Spring Chicken was nicely flavorful, tender, and moist. It was so good that we didn't have to even use the gravy that came with the dish.

The Lechon Kawali with Laing was a porky-treat. The Lechon skin was nicely crispy (close to a good Bagnet or the Chicharon from Carcar, Cebu). The pork meat was tender and flavorful. The Laing added a nice creamy-spicy kick to the dish.

The Baked Mac and Cheese was good. The pasta was cooked in a sharp-creamy cheese sauce.

The sweet endings that we had were absolutely delish.

I loved their Chocnut Mousse Torte. The Mousse was made of velvety-silky milk chocolate over a milk chocolate crust. The pastry was topped with whole Chocnut bits and caramel popcorn. So good with the garnishing of dark chocolate ganache , fresh strawberries & fresh raspberries. A perfect pastry for sweet tooth foodies who enjoy milk chocolate and Chocnut.

Their Dark Chocolate Yema Cake was divine. The pastry was a layer of moist, dense, dark chocolate cake layered with yummy Yema frosting and frosted with more of thick dark chocolate frosting. Quite honestly, I now prefer this over that Yema Cake/Cupcake that I used to love from a place at HighStreet.

Since it was our friend's birthday, Florabel's staff was so nice to serve (complete with a Happy Birthday song) a plate of their delicious Strawberry Shortcake plated with a candle. Their pastry was delicious with the fluffy cake base with layers of strawberry frosting, covered in a thick cream frosting, and garnished with generous slices of plump, succulent, sweet fresh strawberries. Besides, the pastry was on the house.

I must say that Florabel still delivers that fine dining experience. While their prices are on the high side (this visit was a bday treat of our friend, but choosing from their menu certainly reflected the price range), their delicious dishes, beautiful plating, and excellent service still makes their establishment a good option for a perfect dining place for special occasions or meals on corporate account.

I will be back for more helpings of the dishes that I loved. I'm also keen on trying some of their new dishes. Their Angus Burger Sandwich with Foie Gras and Lobster Meat was calling my name.

Staff: attentive, courteous, very polite and responds to your requests immediately

Food: generous serving, tastes great though I find their all meat pasta a bit salty but I definitely liked their iced tea!

Ambiance: very warm and cozy. Their restroom is very clean and smells good.

Service: efficient yet it takes some time for the food to be served.

Over all: very good though theyre a bit pricey but its ok. 128522

I love people who love sweets. Ice cream, chocolates, cake, cookies, brownies, and more ice cream!!! I love chocolates so much that I once tried the “chocolate diet.” Well, I don’t think it exists but I tried to eat nothing but chocolates for a few days. (Yes, it was a bad idea but I had no regrets.) And a few weeks ago, I met a group who share the same love for sweets. <3

Hello, Florabel.

I recall that the only time I went inside Florabel was for a meeting with the people handling Magnum. And since the meeting was held after lunch, I just had a glass of… water. (And Magnum of course!)

This time though, we had some sweet meal enders. And we ordered quite a lot! S1, S2, S3 and D were the ones who chose the desserts and they picked Frozen Brazo de Mercedes (PHP225), Chocolate Mud Pie (PHP320), Crème Brûlée Torte with Fruits in Season (PHP245), Moist Yema Chocolate Cake (PHP275), Valrhona Chocolate Tartlet with Mango Chutney (PHP335), and Chocnut Torte (PHP245).

The Frozen Brazo de Mercedes tasted a bit too egg-y. (Sorry, I couldn’t think of a better term for this.) Perhaps I also compare it with the one I had from Spätzle. I liked the custard though and the contrast of the frozen meringue with the crunchy graham crust.

The Crème Brûlée Torte was so-so for me. It was probably my least favorite that night. It had a slight burnt taste but the fruits were fresh.

I enjoyed the Valrhona Chocolate Tartlet. The dark chocolate ganache was so rich and I like its contrast with sea salt. I didn’t touch the mango chutney that much though as it had that weird tangy taste that didn’t seem to go so well with the tartlet.

The Chocnut Torte was great too! Milk chocolate mousse with a hint of chocnut topped with caramel popcorn with dark chocolate sauce and berry coulis… it was a combination made by food gods. The best thing was it wasn’t that sweet too!

One of the popular desserts that night was the yema cake. I actually prefer Slice’s yema cake but this one wasn’t bad at all. It was very moist and the dulce de leche added flavor to the cake.

But my favorite was the Chocolate Mud Pie. The creamy dark chocolate fudge ice cream topped with chocolate shards, graham crumbs and rocky road cookie was the best! Since it was dark chocolate, it wasn’t that sweet too though it could be a bit too overwhelming with the chocolate shards and cookie.

Overall, it was a great way to start the long weekend. It was a fun night with new friends. :)

Very good dining experience. Food was really good and rich! We skipped on the soup, salad and appetizer and headed for the entree- I had the Pan Roasted Pompano with Grilled Prawns, crispy chorizo and pine nuts with rosemary oil and it was superb!! For dessert we had the wonderful frozen brazo de mercedes which surprisingly was not too sweet and chocnut torte. Wonderful lunch with a very nice ambience. Pricey but very worth it.

The interior of this store is just majestic 1 11088️ for that. Once seated you'll noticed 2 big angels above the entrance as if you are inside a cathedral not to mention the lighting and the chandeliers. Brilliant!

The staff attended to us named Melvin is very kind and courteous. Water is refilled constantly and he kept on asking if we still need any condiments for our orders. Kudos!

I ordered their barbecue baby back ribs and it is superb. Ribs are soft and off the bone kind plus the sauce is tasty and not too empowering. Perfect mix of sweet, salty and spicy just how I wanted it. 128523128077🏻

Got to try their mac and cheese also yummy. Their spicy tuna salad is TDF. 128077🏻 Bacon rockafeller spinach pizza is amazing. 128513

Expensive yes but at least you get your moneys worth right? But yeah pricey. 128513

Still on soft opening mode so as expected, service was sloppy and took a long time for our orders to arrive. I was hesitant to eat here because of the soft opening sign but this was the last resort since we've tried the other restos in Estancia.

We didnt like the service. They were not accommodating/friendly. They were also too eager to clear our plates (sign of boredom, maybe) that it's such a turn off already.

We just had pizza -- Bacon Spinach Pizza. It was so-so, and matabang. We ordered Iced Teas: Mixed berries and Pineapple Mint. Iced Teas were Php195 each. So not worth it. 128078🏻 total bill was Php800+128078🏻

Great food, exceptional service.... Quite expensive though.
Every thing we ordered was great, unfortunately the grilled lamb chops were cooked medium rare instead of , medium.

It was still a great dinner, our son had the lamb chopps✅

My wife and I had the foie gras terrine with toast, nice presentation , but did not taste like foie gras, I was disappointed.1.5/5

The usda beef belly with an asisn inspired braided beef, great with the simmered figs, 3.5/5

Will I go back... Maybe when we have tried all the restaurants in estancia.

I hear there was a new restsurant that's going to be a game changer... Can't wait !
