AHHHHHHH FORTUNE'S SPANISH BREAD BRINGS SO MUCH HIGH SCHOOL MEMORIES!!! 1285131285259786128515128522 I was hungry yesterday afternoon and we were just in phase 1 so I went to tropical to buy spanish bread! Thankfully, Fortune's still open though not as big as before but still, they're still open!!!!! Hooray!! 128588🏼128588🏼128588🏼

I remember always buying this everyday after school. Anthony and I would walk from school going to tropical since this is just near our school. The Spanish bread is our favorite snack! Whenever we fight, spanish bread lang, okay na ako ulit!!! 128541128514128517 It's soft and sweet and always freshly made. I think it's only 7pesos before, now it's 8.25 pesos! 128561128517 The taste is still the same as I remember it! 128525

My parents went home yesterday with 2 mongo ensaymadas. Ugh they didn't get extra for us 128534 Plastic nalang when I saw it this morning. I think they got some for my lolo yesterday and what they brought home were sobra lang.

I remember buying ube or mongo ensaymada from their BF branch before. They have good spanish bread too. These are like what you usually get from the neighborhood panaderia. 128512 Best paired with coffee.9749 I prefer this than those expensive but ordinary tasting breads available in other bread shops.

I was in GB1 yesterday to have the car service and as I was entering the car to leave, I got a whiffed of fresly baked breads, like a dog hound after a scent trail, I also felt I have to look for it.

So I went down asked guard on duty if there's a bakery somewhere near and he pointed me to this quaint, little bakeshop tucked beside mercury drugs.

As I enter, I observed everybody was buying either pandesal or spanish bread..so i did what the romans do ordered 5 pcs freshly baked, piping hot Spanish bread.

It's P7 per pop it's smothered with butter and generously sprinkled with sugar.

I was only able to consumed 2 pcs before I had a sugar rush. Man! These bread are really sweet! If I'm diabetic I'm sure I'll be rush into makati med emergency room for sugar spike.

But you know, we pinoys either like our food sweet or salty.

Anyway, for anybody who have a problem with glucose...don't go near these bad boys.

Place is a typical neighborhood bakery just located in a mall.
