Four seasons hotpot. Hmm well, first of all, kudos to marketing for enticing ads but yes, they are just ads.

For a resto from the Vikings food group, i'd say i was really disappointed. Here's why:

First up, seats:
Okay so we didn't have reservations. Yet, i just couldn't brush off the comment from the next table saying our seats have long been vacant. I wish they seated us sooner.

Second, their cooked food array had limited choices. Most of them cold and not really enticing,

On to the shabu-shabu
That night there was no beef broth available. We had to call the waiters several times to assist us since we were just asked to sit. No explanations on how things are done there whatsoever. The place where you needed to get stuff to put in your broth had flies. Gaaah, there were even flies on our table and we had to shoo them away.

I was originally short listing this place to take my family to celebrate a special occasion but this experience made me change my mind.

Love hot pot?!? Oh yes! This is by far my fave hotpot and probably buffet place for now. Since my husband and o love hot pot! Love their veggies and the sauce, condiments, dimsum... Shabu shabu is perfect! Though their dessert bar is not like the rest of the buffet bars... We enjoyed their waffle bar ahaha we had 5 waffles or more. We enjoyed the egg waffle as well. I know the plates on the pics were evidence

It was a good dining experience at this hotpot buffet thanks to Vikings!

Great interiors, comfy ambiance, clean restrooms plus private rooms to complete the overall appreciation of this restaurant.

They serve cooked food from Asian to Western dishes as well as giving you the full discretion on what should be going on your hotpot. Choices vary from local vegetables, all those balls like chicken and beef 128541, bit of meat plus seafood!

Likewise, Vikings has all types drinks such as soda, juice, beer, and wine. Moreover, their dessert bar is just superb! Just the way they are always known for with Pinoy favorites, cakes, crΓͺpes, ice cream as well as both white and milk chocolate fondues.

We went during lunch time and I think per person it costs below PHP1,000.

*Disclaimer: late post. Went here five months ago.

We had our team building here for the month of April. It was good. Some of their food tasted bland though. I won't mention it though. Seafoods are great! Their fried tempura's nice also. If you're the person who loves to cook their food before eating in restaurants, then have a splurge in here. There are a lot of ingredients to choose from. I'm mainly talking about making a dish from your chicken or beef soup in the second picture.

The price I think per head is around 688. Not bad compared to other buffets ranging from that same price per head i.e. Guevarra's who only offers Filipino dishes. The staff was accommodating even if there's lots of customers. Their wifi is a pain to connect to. You still need to like their facebook page in order to connect. Hassle. Instead of just giving you their password and clicking accept, you have to still go to a rigorous process of liking their page. What's more tedious is that they have bad signal reception here for Globe.

Still, worth of your money. I think parking is convenient knowing that this is in Cubao.

Another birthday celebration, this time its my brothers birthday. He decided to treat us in Four Seasons Hotpot and Buffet since he knows how strong our family eats128522128522128522.

Its my 1st time here in this Cubao branch and it was hell of a traffic because of the DLSU-ADMU championship game. DLSU won, Goodbye Alyssa128546128546128546.

This branch got a unique interior for a chinese hotpot. The interior is more of french inspired I think. The wall painting are very cute and even the toilet are beautifully painted. Got the same luxurious feel as NIU with a more homey feel.

The place also got various VIP room and lucky my bro got us a table in one of the VIP room. I love that the VIP room is set-up that each person got to have their own hotpot. No more mixing of food and you get to have your own soup. This style is very similar in Hotpot in China.

Another thing that we find very authentic is they've got the Hai Di Lao Mala Paste for the soup. This is one of the spicy paste that you find in authentic chinese hotpot.

For the food the choices are very good. The freshly made balls are delicious. The seafood section got good shrimp, seashell and fish. The crab was a disappointment all shell very little meat inside. The meat section got Korubuta pork128525. For the buffet section: The sashimi section are similar to Viking very nice. The litson rice was also a must try! Squid siomai is also a nice siomai version. For dessert similar to vikings with just an added taho.

Beer in can are also bottomless and the tea they've got Twinings and Harley and Sons. 128522

Overall Vikings really set the bar of buffet very high while still giving great comfortable budget. If its your Birthday this is a great ideal choice. 128518

I don't like hotpot or shabu shabu before but since I've heard that Vikings has a new and premier branch in Cubao, we tried it today. There are varieties of dishes to choose from but the hotpot surprisingly stand out. You can have 2 base soup at the same time and there are a lot of meat and veggies to choose from. Staffs were so attentive and always ready to assist. We will definitely go back!

The first time that I tried Four Seasons was at MOA. Honestly, I didn't like it since everyone was all over the place. In short, i didn't enjoy it. But it was a complete turnaround when I tried their Cubao Branch. There were still a lot of people but it didn't feel like you were about to bump the next person. Staff were very attentive and courteous too. Food was good as the broth didn't have a lot of msg. Even if you are not a fan of hotpot, there are still good number of choices from their prepared dishes.

First off, the location was good. There's nearby parking and not much of a walk to get to the place. Their entryway was a very elegant space with ample seats. The ambiance was very classy too. The service was very good. Each and every one of the people I asked assistance from was well informed and well trained and, mind you, this is during lunch time with tons of lunch goers and several private parties occupying their "rooms". None of them looked frazzled. All of them were very courteous. Our server was great help with educating us on how a hot pot works. See, we're hot pot virgins. 128518

There's a wide array of food and drink choices both raw and cooked as is normal with any Vikings buffet. Food quality is, as usual, of high standard.

My takeaway for humor? The writings in the bathroom. Actually, there are quotes here and there in the dining area. The ones in the bathroom though LOL. The cubicle I went unit has this written "The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside, couldn't keep it in heaven knows I've tried.." So, yeah. Thumbs up for humor. I wasn't able to take a photo as someone took the stall after I left.

Great place. I definitely recommend this to everyone.

Ambiance is great! Feels like you are in a hotel. Staff are courteous. Food is really good plus a lot of drinks to choose from. They refill food display right away. Plus I love that they have pistachio and bubble gum flavored ice cream! Two of my favorites! Comfort room is also very clean and pretty. Who doesn't love a comfy comfort room?

If not for the courteous reception staff, nothing much is worth writing about here. I saw the kare-kare, which was called Irish beef stew, while I was looking around for food to try first. When I came back and asked for it, I was politely informed that it was all out and no longer available. Gee, it was only 6:30pm that time! So, I went to my usual favorite food, Japanese. So frustrating, to say the least. The salmon and tuna sashimi were not fresh. They have assorted maki but they all seem to taste the same. I moved on to try the hotpot hoping this would be their saving grace. It was still so-so. I went to the steak station to check out what they got to offer. I was there waiting to be served while the men assigned here joke and poke fun with each other. At least the meat was tender and tasty. All the tasting made me thirsty. The fresh guyabano juice was really good. I came back for a second serving, again, lo and behold, it was no longer available. Disappointing, right? And since I do not want to be frustrated again, I head towards the dessert station. Yippee, sweets! My first try was the blueberry crepe. Another disappointment. The crepe was brown and crunchy, not the usual crepe we used to know. I went back for puto bumbong. It didn't disappoint. It taste like the old fashion puto bumbong at Nena's Bibingka. Overall, value for money, I felt short-changed and I am never coming back here.

My friends and I wanted to celebrate the end of our final examinations by eating at a buffet restaurant for dinner. I called a number of buffet restos but they were all fully booked for December. Fortunately, I remembered that there were good reviews about Four Seasons, Cubao. When I called them, they were still open for reservation on Dec. 15. 128513 Ma'am JK was very helpful to assist our concerns for our dinner. Since it was raining hard and we were late, I was afraid that we would lose our reservation. I texted Ma'am JK that we were going to be late and she said it was okay. :)

We were not very familiar with the Cubao area so, we got lost in finding the place. We arrived around 7 30- 8 pm. We were so hungry that we immediately got a lot of food.

The sushi and sashimi were very fresh. Even if the serving dish was small, the chef was quick in refilling the dish every time it runs out. I particularly loved the salmon sashimi. The color and taste really showed how fresh the salmon sashimi was. The other sushi were also good.

The tempura and baked oysters easily run out. It took some time for them to cook a new batch but these were also delicious.

The grilled salmon had a lot of bones. It tasted okay but it was not worth my time to remove all the bones.

According to some reviews, the sweet potato with marshmallow was delicious but I found the dish too sweet. 128541

The seafood roulade was good. The shrimps and salmon bits had the right consistency and texture.

The bellychon and lamb were good. The roast beef was dry and a little tough.

Although I am not really a fan of hotpot, I was excited to try it because I saw a wide array of meat, seafood, vegetables and balls. 128525
Just like the reviews I read, I loved the cheese ball. It wasn't present on the buffet table, you have to ask for it 128521 The other dumplings and fish balls were also good. For the soup base, you are given a pot that has a partition in the middle, dividing the pot into two. We asked assistance from the waiters in choosing our soup base. We got a seafood and chicken base. For the chicken base, we chose sate as the sauce. We loved the chicken and sate soup. It had the right amount of flavor and spiciness. We tried all the kinds of meat, from the lamb to the beef short ribs. For us, all the meat tasted the same :))

Just like the other Vikings branches, there were numerous choices of drinks, like beer, juices, coffee, and citrus water. There was even a diy milk tea station 128522

Desserts:
The bibingka was not bad. There were only 2 choices for crepe filling, canned strawberry or blueberry. I chose the strawberry as my crepe filling. The crepe was okay. There were 6 flavors of ice cream available. I was looking for avocado ice cream, but it wasn't available. Like Niu, I was happy that they offered frozen yogurt. 128515 The mini cakes tasted average. The mini strawberry chesecake was delicious. :)

The comfort room was very clean, spacious and interesting. Lyrics of some songs were written on the walls and the comfort rooms also had the european vibe that matches the interiors of the restaurant.

Overall, we had a wonderful time at Four Seasons. Hopefully, this restaurant does not deteriorate like other buffet restaurants.

Price: 3/5
Ambiance: 4/5
Service 4/5

This is now my new favorite and go-to hotpot! The only difference between Four Seasons and Tong Yang or Yakimix is the former doesnt have any grilling at the table. But it's okay since it more than makes up for it with their wide variety of dishes served buffet style. They have different stations such as:
- Japanese: sashimi, sushi, tempura
- Chinese: dimsums hakaw, chicken feet, stir fried dishes,
-Carving: roast beef, roast lamb, roast turkey, lechon belly
And of course their Beverage stations! My favorite were: Tamarind, Cucumber Lemongrass, Milk Tea.

Basically this is a mini Vikings but with the addition of hotpot.

I enjoyed the different fresh balls: scallop balls, fish balls, shrimp balls, cuttlefish balls and their dumplings: sharksfin dumplings, shrimps.

They also have a selection on seafoods and shells, innards, noodles to add to your soup, vegetables.

Great value for money! 128077🏻128077🏻128077🏻128077🏻128077🏻

Food - From the group of Vikings, this place offers you different kinds of sumptuous foods. They serve you different types of cuisines: chinese, american, japanese, korean and of course filipino foods! I must say all of the choices are delicious! But one thing that distinguishes them from Vikings is that they have Shabu-Shabu setup in this restaurant. There are numerous choices of green vegetables and also you get to pick the flavour of your soup that should go along with your vegetables. Also note that for every pot, you can have two flavours (because the pot is separated into two). They offer salad, main courses, desserts, beer, tea and etc.

My favorite food would be the chocolate pudding found at the dessert area!

Ambience - This place looks cool! It has a classy theme to it and it's properly groomed especially the CR. The music is loud enough to hear and quiet enough to enjoy your food.

The staff there are polite but when the place gets full and crowded it's hard to get their attention sometimes, but it's manageable.

Biggest, brightest and classy looking hotpot dining place in the Metro now open.

Hotpot gives you at least five broth options like pork, chicken. Then you can have some of their prepared sauces mixed to your broth as you desire or better skip this if you're palate is not that adventurous.

Now most of the ingredients I've picked from display specially the veggies are fresh. Ordered the sliced meats like beef and lamb from the wait staff or at the counter if your feet are not that weary from all the walking to and fro.

If you're tired cooking your food, go to the cooked food section and feast on turkey, paella stuffed lechon belly, steak, grilled on demand meats and seafoods, pastas to order and much more. All this at less than a thousand on a weekend lunch. 128522

It was an okay experience, they make all their hotpot items which nice. But whats really annoying is the carving station.. They serve really small portions of meat, and sometimes they serve the weird cuts of meat! Whats up with that angus belly?.,, there is too much fat... In my own opinion that part should be good in stew, not as steak! They do sometimes release the rib-eye cuts, but thats if your lucky, or diligent in checking the carving station like a predator
