On one particularly stressful week for hubby and me, we decided to reward ourselves with dinner at Four Seasons. It was only Thursday and we were both so spent! Was surprised to see though that they repriced? Weekday dinner is now only ₱688 which is great.
We didn't make reservations since it was a weekday and luckily there were available tables. I tried their satay soup base which is supposed to be spicy instead of my usual sukiyaki. I liked how I can still change the taste and body of the soup by adding more condiments. Meat selection is good and they're more strict now with the servings, they will only slice it upon request. Also had some teppan and their cooked food. For dessert, I made my own turon and kamote q ala mode hehe.
Service was great as per usual and the place, counters and bathroom were all impeccably clean.
Really one of our fave hot pot restos! Any other places you guys can suggest?

Finally back! Ate here for grandparent's day and to celebrate my sister's birthday who's in the fjords. It was her treat too, thanks ats! My mom has been super curious about it especially since I was raving about our last visit. So she made reservations herself for our Sunday lunch128516
Even though they're not as fond of hotpot as hubby and I were, they were really eager to try it out. Their only experience was of tong yang and we didn't really know what we were doing then, luto luto lang 128513 this time I got the spicy base while my mom and hubby tried the chicken one. My dad got their sukiyaki. I taught them how to operate and control the induction cooker etc and off we went to get our meat and veggies.
As usual hubby got all the weird stuff i.e stomach, intestines etc! I patiently waited for the meat to be sliced. Since it was a Sunday (and a made up holiday), they kinda couldn't keep up with slicing the meat lol. Got a ton of veggies too. Too bad though they didn't have beef teppan that day. Ate a lot of their cheese and salmon sashimi as well. The kids (and my mom) really liked the churros! I paired it with their coffee and it was pretty good!
My family thoroughly enjoyed it! Small world too cos one of the managers was my mom's student at university!
Still a great experience though I think it's better to go on a weekday to avoid the bug crowds.

The birthday celebrant gets to eat for free! Yebahhhhh 128079128131🕺🏻
For P932.40/head it's a good deal already because of the wide selections they have - from the starters (hello sushi and sashimi!), to salads, main course, carving station, grill station, drink selections and desserts.
We especially enjoyed the hotpot station. This is the one thing that sets it apart from the regular Vikings resto.
And because we are a family of matakaw, we stayed from 1130am - 230pm , pig out to the highest level na ba LOL!
Sana meron may birthday sa family every month nyahaha!

I think we may have found THE ONE 128525 Hubby and I have been on a shabu shabu hunt for several months now and after eating here I feel that the hunt is over! Ok rewind to last year when we first saw four seasons under construction at south mall, we were excited to say the least but when it finally opened, we somehow couldn't get ourselves to pay ₱888 for shabu shabu. I mean how good could it get? Boy were we wrong!
First off, you have literally dozens and dozens of dumplings, balls, meat and innards, veggies and mushrooms to choose from. Literally the most we've seen from any shabu shabu resto. Second, the SAUCES! As any true hotpot fan will tell you, it's all in the sauce baby! We actually got confused about what to use and mix! Lastly, cleanliness and service. Although tong yang has a decent selection, the cleanliness is questionable for me (mini ipis anyone?) the veggies and meat here are all cleanly displayed in their own cooling cases. The meat is already portioned off so you just need to get the little saucers instead of using tongs between different meats.
Like in NIU, they also serve unlimited drinks which includes draft beer. I'm happy to note that the drinks are quite light and very fresh which really complements the food well.
The prepared food is also quite good and they even have teppan which I had twice I think! Dessert is just ok but yeah, sulit na your ₱888!
And if you eat on your birthday (which I did), you get to eat for free! You can also eat for free during the rest of your birthday month but you need 3 paying customers with you, on the day itself you need only one 128522
Suffice to say, can't wait to go back!

The Shabu-Shabu adik in me is so happy Four Seasons Buffet and Hotpot have opened in SM Southmall. They are located in SM Southmall Food street side of the mall. This branch is much smaller when compared to MOA and Cubao branch. What I liked about this branch is the single hotpot per person and that it was not too crowded. The choices was still as extensive as their other branch with lots of choices for their shabu-shabu and lots of fave from vikings. I highly recommend for the spicy lover the Mala paste for the soup while Sate paste for the oldschool peeps. For the food must try our their beef selection and the crab was fatty good. Their freshly made balls were delicious but try asking for some lobster ball. They didn't have this displayed but they gladly gave me when I asked for it. For people who wants readily cooked food. Tempura, roast beef are available. For the drinks I love the melon shake and Sake wine.

Overall love this place and it wasn't that hard to get a reservation. Nice addition to SM Southmall. 128522128076

This place is heaven not only for shabu shabu fanatics but for all food lovers! They have a wide selection of food --- both cooked and uncooked. They have sushi, sashimi, dimsum, balls of all sorts, sausages, fish, beef, pork, chicken, lamb, noodles, seafood....and so much more. I love food and the cozy ambiance as well. This is a place worth dining again and again!128522
