Traffic was bad last night, surge was crazy and i decided to forego workout since its almost december 128540 and let my tummy do the workout.

Been a while since my last visit here. Order their bestseller which is the chicken sandwich with salted fries. Wow, still one of the best chicken sandwich in the metro. It somehow taste different if you use your hands vs knife+fork 128533

Food was fast but serving of utensils, water, and tissue took a while.

Will be back next year. 128522

One Friday night, Ony and I had dinner here. It was a very stressful week and whenever I'm stressed, I feel like I need to eat something comforting or something I don't usually get to eat all the time. I've been meaning to let Ony try Fowlbread so it was the perfect time to eat here. 128521

I don't usually like eating outisde since it's hit

We ordered one CHICKEN SANDWICH (245) and HOT WINGS (6pcs - 215).

CHICKEN SANDWICH. Chemical because we want it really spicy!! 128540 I let Ony try it first and yayy because he liked the burger. We enjoyed how soft the bread was (but still with some parts slightly toasted), how super crispy and sinful the chicken skin was, how "simple" and not too complicated yet so yummy and tasty the whole sandwich was! 128525 Only comment is the size. It's too small and bitin. 128517

HOT WINGS with pepper and pineapple glaze. I also wanted to order the cheeseburger potstickers but a lot of the items were not available! 128546 We've been craving for wings for a long time already so it was a blessing that this was still available!! These wings were just okay, though. Typical usual wings. Not as spicy, as well.

One of their signs said "Find True Love", we didn't find our true love.

Anyway, we looked for some late night grub and this place was open around that time. They only have a few choices on their menu, so we ordered the following:
Chicken sandwich (245PHp) plus add on of salted fries (65PHp) - liked the fried chicken skin touch.
Cheeseburger Potstickers (215PHp) it's like gyoza with cheeseburger ingredients
Strawberry Hibiscus Cooler (180PHp)
Frozen Pineapple Yakult Cocktail (260PHp) interesting combination

Overall, it was a bit pricey for our taste. Trying it once is enough for us.

Had the chicken sandwich with garlic fries. Chicken was soft and tasty with just the right amount of heat (I chose spicy). I initially loved it but there's an umay factor. And as Miggy T pointed out, it's just like a fancier version of McChicken for double the price.

The strawberry hibiscus slushie had an overpowering ginger flavor, which I didn't like.

The banana donuts, though, are to die for. They're basically balls of banana fritters served with whipped cream and a nutella dip. OMG ang saraaap! Definitely coming back for this <3

The chicken was crispy and tender! The bread goes well with the chicken and the dressing, it was soft.

They also have a wide range of craft beers.

Their specialty, the Chicken Sandwich stuffed with chicken skin and garlic fries for sides. Fantastic combination!

Had some garlic pasta with cheeseburger potstickers. Unconventional but super GOOD!!!

Price wise, it's on the mid range but totally worth it.

Secret menu alert! Well... not so secret anymore 128540

Crispy Porkchop Szechuan Noodles!!!

My co-worker showed me an IG post yesterday revealing the dish, and i just knew I couldn't pass this one up. I made it a point to rush over to Fowlbread as soon as my work schedule was up and right before they took their last orders!

On to the dish... It was glorious! A crispy, well breaded, tender, THICK chop with firm noodles swimming in a spicy peanut sauce, topped with chopped peanuts and greens. 128076 The sauce actually reminded me of a spicy kare-kare. Just slurping the noodles and mopping the sauce with the porkchop makes you forget about the absence of plain rice.

And the best part of the dish for me? Surprisingly, it was the string beans! They had that right crunch, juiciness, and tasted oh so buttery! French beans grilled to perfection, and even had char marks on them. I found myself literally saving the best for last and wiping the rest if the sauce on my plate clean with those beans!

I've been eyeing the strawberry hibiscus slushie and banana donuts ince my first visit to Fowlbread but they've always been out of stock!!!

I guess the wait was worth it! Chancing upon Fowlbread one day and inquiring if they were available lead to this amazing late night dessert. I could taste the ginger ale base they used, and that set a good foundation for the strawberry notes that kicked in afterwards. I have no idea what hibiscus tastes like lol, but i think that was the dried flower they propped onto the side of the glass. So refeshing i didnt mind the brain freeze that came with it haha. Shout outs to Stanford x Shaw for churning out awesome ginger ales as always.

The donuts were like perfectly fried banana flavored munchkins. I expected fried and thickly battered banana bits but these donuts seemed to have the banana baked into the dough itself! These bad boys came with whipped cream and a chocolate dip. Who can say no to chocolate, bananas, and whipped cream? My hunch was right! Good to know Fowlbread's got something i could go back to aside from their chicken sandwich.

Had dinner here with some friends, was too shy to get a good angle so i just took a shot from the top 128517

Before entering their small air conditioned room we tried to browse their menu on several food blog sites and ended up looking at a comic menu with about ten varieties including drinks, we thought it was just the front page or something or that they often change the dish selections and those are just the commonly served dishes but finally when we were able to grab a menu board we saw the same menu we saw in the browser and it was just then that we were convinced that this was the only food they serve, well it's quite clever though, you won't have a hard time choosing what to eat and that they don't have any specials, coz all of ther dishes are specials and not to mention best sellers haha.

Anyway we ordered two of their signature chicken sandwich, one was safe with salted fries and the other was spicy with garlic fries, the sandwich was a layer toasted bun with the crunchy chicken skin patty then crispy chicken fillet patty with kimchi coleslaw, raddish, and their special dressing, the salted fries were crispy and with just the right amount of salt, and the garlic fries was coated with garlic oil and sprinkled with chives, it was delicious and my friends liked it better than the salted fries well since oil and fried foods are apparently on my pet peeve list, i don't seem to have the right to compare teehee sorry 128517

Overall it was great, will try their potstickers and egg noodles next time

I've been wanting to try this place out since I read the reviews from the rendezvoos before. It wasn't until recently that I was able to pass by BGC and try this place out.

I'm a huge fan of the umami fried chicken at Bad Bird, and the owner of Bad Bird is also the owner of FowlBread! 128525

I enjoyed the spicy one but it didn't have that "wow" factor for me. 128533 The chicken patty was good, perfectly crispy. But the spicy flavor wasn't consistent for the whole patty. There was also too much mayo dressing to my liking.

Maybe I should come back again and give it another shot?

At first I was hesitant to try this because i wasn't the fried chicken type of person but i was convinced to just give it a try. I've passed the area several times and even took a look at their menu but i never knew they had a tiny indoor area.

That's where my friends and I sat down, the place was dark and the interiors kind of gave a feeling of being in an old style house and a bathroom since the walls were tiles on one side and concrete with glass on the other. The place was actually cozy. It's like a hideout from all the bright lights and tall building outside.

Their menu is straightforward and easy since there wasn't much choice. I knew that before we got there so I ordered the Spicy fried chicken sandwich with garlic fries.

Our order arrived timely and I could smell the fries immediately. So, the sandwich consisted of a fried chicken pattie, a layer of pickles and a chicken skin crisp. I was trying to take out my pickles but my friend who equally doesn't like pickles told me i wont even taste it so i opted to keep it where it is. I usually don't eat the chicken skin whether it's fried or not but in this sandwich, it felt essential to have that crunchy layer with every bite and i finished it all up without leaving crumbs!

The spicyness of it was good although i think it contributed to the fact that i couldn't taste the pickles haha the garlic fries tastes ok for me but i think it was a bit soggy and stick to touch.

It was one sinful meal for me but no regrets!

When I first got to try this place out, I enjoyed and liked everything we had. The next day in the office, I was telling all my officemates that they should try this place out especially the chicken sandwich because CHICKEN SKIN + SPICY! 128525128525128525

One night after work, we all went here for dinner. It was around 7pm and luckily, there was still one vacant table for our group. Also, the temperature this time was so much better than before when you can't feel your hands anymore because it was so cold haha. 128517

They tried the Spicy and Chemical while I decided to just get the Garlic Egg Noodles. So happy that you can now add Potstickers with the noodles for an additional fee of 90 pesos only. That's 3pcs of potstickers. Sulit especially when you're just eating it alone. 128513128077🏼

My officemates loved and enjoyed the chicken sandwiches. I let them try the Garlic Egg Noodles and Potstickers as well. Told them to add the chili sauce to make it even better. And they liked it, as well.

It was a nice, comforting and yummy dinner!! One of the best chicken sandwich!!! 128076🏼

One of the nicest things about BGC is the many different options of food establishments you can visit just by taking a walk.

In my years of eating chicken burgers (and I've eaten quite a hefty sum) this is what you call innovation. I kept coming back for this sandwich! 128514

Juicy meat with veggies na not your ordinary selection set in between good ol' bread. The secret apart from the choice of ingredients? The crrrrispy chicken skin that was probably tossed into some good batter of spices and other flavors. The result? Masarap na chicken sandwich! 128513

Fowlbread did good on this one! Whoever thought that we can put the chicken skin in the sandwich?

What makes this store better for me is the lack of more choices of food. It makes my life easier. Sandwich, noodles, donuts, drink. Done.

Pero thinking about it, 🤔 its not just the sandwich that's the star of the show. Their egg noodles are also great! Think of the pancit noodles fans like me. Hindi to lucky me! 128523 But it is worth the buck 128541 To add more texture, isama mo na yung potstickers! 128584128561128523

For dessert (and I was never really a fan), their banana donuts are great! It's flavor really gives that banana extract and its not too sweet. Just right for me.

That serves up a great meal after a quick 15-minute walk! Then, repeat again (maybe tomorrow) LOL 128522

dropped by one of the newest burger joint in the Metro one afternoon before meeting up a friend over dinner. takaw mode, yes! haha, i have to make the most of my Fort visit. 128521

so the frontage looks like a takeout stall with a bar where you may enjoy the burgers and their other dishes, al fresco. with this summer heat, of course I looked for the air-conditioned area at the back. a very small space which reminded me of a storage room. vintage and rustic feels with a dark ambiance.

the food. i got the most talked about chicken burger. at first look it just looked very usual. but once you start munching, that's when you'll feel where this one's having a twist in. side story: Fowlbread is Bad Bird and The Beef's baby. It has The Beef's awesome brioche bun, and Bad Bird's umami and crunchy chicken fillet meat. Good combination! What's really special about it is the extra crunch it has thanks to the thin crispy strip of chicken skin. sinful but tasted good! that once in a while sinful burger munching sessions. 128076🏻

Overall, it was a good burger but the price was quite high for me. It was almost 300 bucks, with tax and other, more than even.

Fowlbread s the newest addition to Bonifacio High Street. It was brought by the same people who conceptualized Bad Bird in Hole in the Wall, Century City Mall.

It only has 6 items on its food menu.

Their main dish would be the Chicken Sandwich, which is made of deep fried chicken breast and chicken skin in a bun. Best paired with their garlic fries.

You can also dictate the level of spiciness of your chicken; either Safe, Spicy or Chemical.

I wouldn't recommend that you order the Potstickers and Banana Donuts cause it wasn't good.

Better stick with just the sandwich and fries.

It's a good chicken burger. A fancy version of KFC's zinger. I'm not sure, but the fries tasted like those frozen ones bought at the supermarket.

Oh boy, when it comes to chicken sandwiches... this is it! Juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside chicken fillet, fried, coated, and seasoned just right. Topped with a deep fried and crispy piece of chicken skin. Uhhhh what a sandwich! And by looking at the menu, they like keep things simple, focus, and specialize. This means limited menu items but with a focus on keeping what they specialize in at the utmost quality.

Also got to try their garlic stir fried noodles and potstickers from the menu. I liked their noodles for the first few mouthfuls. Then as i ate more, the more "umay" it got. It sure did pack a lot of garlic! Not sure if its because the noodles had more garlic, but i didnt get the same "umay" feeling with the garlic fries. The potstickers, on the otherhand, are just like your typical gyoza (and really good too), but shaped differently. Goes really well with the noodles! Well the noodles by itself might end up being a bit plain since it literally is just plain (spaghetti?) noodles stir fried in garlic.

-1 127775 though for unavailability/unreadiness of their banana donuts and strawberry hibiscus smoothie. Two items i really wanted try! Been to FowlBread twice and twice i'd get reasons like the bananas haven't been delivered yet or the strawberry smoothie isn't frozen enough. 128542
