I am always here because I am always here. I just 10084️ this place. I usually bring visiting friends here who want more than the usual pinoy food places.

The garlic noodles have been on my mind all day. Kwokie K recommended them to me awhile back and I’ve been hooked every since. It’s so simple but super delicious. Always cooked perfectly.

They changed their menu a bit, with new options including steak. But I’m just way to satiated with the chicken sandwich and garlic noodles that I don’t know if I can try their new dishes.

Another restaurant ticked from my bucket list! Haha. Ever since their Chicken Sandwich with chicken skin trended, it has been on my radar since. Since their indoor seating was full, I was really okay sitting al fresco by the bar. That way, I get to witness the action in the kitchen. It was quite comfy as the weather was pretty good that day.

Just look at the sauce oozing out…ugggghhhh. I didn’t know how to eat their Chicken Sandwich (P265) at first. I really wanted to take it all in one bite. Just to fully taste the sandwich. I ended up separating that glorious chicken skin on the side for snacking later. 128539 It was mildly sweet for me but still very much good. I liked the sauce for it made the whole sandwich just awesome. As for the fries, they were pretty good though I wasn’t able to finish it. I probably should have tried their Garlic Fries to see the difference but my order was a good pair. Besides, their Chicken Sandwich very much deserves that spotlight.

That sandwich really filled me up GOOD. I wish I made it a little spicy though since you can have it either on a safe, spicy or chemical level. Maybe next time when I drop by or get a massive craving for one good chicken sandwich. 🙂

Ultra crispy chicken skin, pickled radish and cucumber, and chemical juicy chicken fillet on a bed of their in-house mayo dressing (which thankfully does not taste like actual mayo) and brioche buns. Really. What is there not to like. To say that this is my favorite chicken burger is an understatement. I try to drop by here at least once a month.

Slather it with their chili garlic for that extra kick.

They serve a big and an even bigger version of this sandwich. 🤤128525128523 chicken sandwich with the skin as the second "pattie" and a side of fries. The mayo/dressing they use does the trick. Must-try!

FowlBread is definitely the first burger joint that’s serving chicken burger as their primary specialty off the menu. The place has been around for quite a while but I never got the chance to try it before, not until Kristin A tagged me along for dinner. I was actually aiming for Banh Mi Kitchen but I got really curious and of course, it’s chicken... so no ifs and buts!

I got their most-acclaimed Chicken burger and went for the Spicy one. KristinA tried their Honey Walnut Shrimp sandwich. It consists of perfectly-fried chicken, ultra crispy chicken skin, szechuan pickles, and then filled inside the brioche buns. The fried chicken alone is goooood!!! I cried, literally, after that first bite! And the crispy chicken skin is just too sinful to forget! Every bite is like a piece of heaven as the medley of flavors are exploding in your mouth!

We also tried their spicy pineapple glazed wings to pair with our sandwiches. Their wings are quite good; it grows on you the more you eat it! It’s not too spicy and has that odd sweetness to it which I think is fine.

We also love the place as much as we love the food. The place is like a small hideout that has some nice interiors but with a limited seating capacity. Service had been good too!

Can’t wait to go back to try the Honey Walnut shrimp sandwich or maybe for some more chicken!

Honey Walnut Shrimp Sandwich
320.00

Batter coated, deep fried shrimp with a generous serving of slaw. I was iffy to try this as I am a cult follower of their spicy chicken burger. But I also gravitate towards shrimp sandwiches so it was a last minute decision to try this.

My first apprehension was how much shrimp it would have. Because my recent experience with Single Origin and their puny serving of shrimp in their po boy was such a disappointment. But, my order arrived and looked hefty to me. My appetite is not that big so at the end of the 'wich i was full.

I liked it. It was pretty good. But If i had my way, I would lessen the coating, make a spicy version, and add more walnuts. I actually didn't taste any. But I did like it haha.

So i come here a lot for the spicy chicken burger. So i also assumed this would be spicy. I thought they read my mind haha. Since we got our orders to go, i couldn't ask for their yummy hot dip. Anyway, since I got a spicy sandwich for the H, i took a bite of his and mejo chemical level na sya. Same with the other spicy one we got for my brother.

Tried the potstickers and chicken wings for the first time. Of course the kids liked the hamburger potstickers. The shrimp had a good portion of shrimp pieces in there.

First time to get take out here for the fam. Liked how they had sleeves for the burgers. Loved the boxes!!!

Had the opportunity to watch how my orders were prepared. I would say it was quite a discomfort. Needs to be more hygienic since kitchen was open. Coughing while cooking. Cleaning nearby while food is being prepared is not a delightful sight to experience.

The first time I ordered something else other than their chicken sandwich.

I tried their Garlic noodles with shrimp potstickers.
Orders came out fast and it smelled good.

The noodles itself was cooked well though the the garlic in it made them stick to each other a bit. I felt that the taste was lacking and I had to ask for their chili which was really good btw.

The shrimp potstickers was deliciously plump and well seasoned. Good choice to go with my noodles. 128077🏼

I almost said no to having dinner here when I knew that FowlBread is known for their fried chicken sandwiches. Not really a fan of sandwiches or bread. Good thing they offer rice meals, I was saved! Haha. I got their Potsticker (5pcs) Garlic Rice which I think was a little pricey at Php 230. The potstickers and garlic rice were served with string beans topped with crushed nuts. I liked how the veggies were cooked - crispy and unsalted. The crushed nuts gave it more texture and tried to balance out the oiliness. The potstickers were okay. The meat inside was soft and tender but it somehow separates from the wrapper after every bite. Its taste reminds me of Chinese dumplings. The rice was okay however the garlic slices were a little big and it sometimes sticks on my teeth. The dish didn’t succeed in making me full though. :(

Hence, we ordered for dessert! We were intrigued with their Banana Donuts so we got it. The dish had 6 pieces of donuts with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. I think this is FowlBread’s modern version of banana split. The donuts were really good! I liked how it was served hot and fresh. It’s so hot that the whipped cream was slowly melting right after it was placed on our table. For the overall taste, you’ll only stop eating because it’s heavy and not because it’s cloying. The chocolate sauce gives it another level by adding sweetness to the donuts.

Chicken burger. I crave for this probably once every month. Never fails to deliver. Always comforting. Best with their chili sauce.

Garlic noodles. Seems simple but flavors are bold. Best eaten with their chicken burger.

Cheeseburger potstickers. It was bland but forgivable. Not recommending this one. I'll probably give it another shot and try the shrimp variant next time.

The place is small (intimate, even) but the interior is lovely. Also, guys, free corkage! Can be a great chill date place. Unassuming grub paired with a bottle of red, yes?

Went here for their famous chicken burger but ended up with their new rice dish.

Fried porkchop was niceely done, same breading with their chicken but almost half of the serving was just fat. 128533

It was good but ill stick with the chicken burger next time.

It's good but every bite I took felt like One step closer to a heart attack. The chicken cutlet was good but the chicken skin, deadly. Call me crazy but i would get the sandwich without the skin next time.

I got a shrimp gyoza but it was nothing special. If i go back I will try the garlic noodles everyone seemed to like.

Gosh... obviously i've been here so many times already 128517128517128517

For one, they're near the office and open from 8am to 12am, which makes it great for people who work on shifting schedules. And second, their menu outside of their famed chicken sandwich is just sooo good! That porkchop and those string beans FTW!!!

Get anything with their porkchop whether its the noodles or rice options. All so good! And i can't leave out the slushies, the breakfast meals like the TITO, french toast, sausage sandwich... everything! Really glad they expanded the menu and became more than a one dimensional chicken sandwich stop.

Extra chicken skin!!!!!

Hala naman! I've been here so many times, I never look at the menu. I've only read it on the first time I came here and I just keep ordering the chicken sandwich, every time.

I brought a cousin visiting the country to Fowlbread. He was the one that saw it. Man, o man. And the extra chicken skin is only 25 pesos. Hu-waw!

Tried the frozen calamansi mousse too. It was good naman. Thankfully the ginger was just a hint. The crumb was a good contrast to the texture of the creamy mousse. Nice dessert to cool the tongue after a spicy meal.

Can I give more than 5 stars?! Srsly, it was THAT good! So happy to finally try this place after reading all the rave reviews here on |ooloo!
After picking up our visas at the Korean embassy, headed over to BGC for some pasyal and early dinner. Arrived at fowlbread a little before 6 and we were just in time to be seated inside as it was sweltering outside! Their little indoor space looks like your Tito's den in Forbes haha! Yun talaga naalala ko! With the (semi) dark interiors, dark woodwork on the ceiling, antiques etc, it's like we were transported back to the early 80s 128517 there was one super excellent server manning the space and we gave him our orders which were 2 single sandwiches, extra skin and extra spicy skin, garlic fries and garlic pasta.
Food arrived quickly and the chickenarian in me was truly overjoyed! The chicken was juicy but not oily (is it air fried) and the extra skin went so well with the sandwich. I'm usually the fussy baby who takes out everything in the sandwich but this time, the pickles and radish really complemented everything!
Hubby was super happy with the garlic pasta especially with the chili-garlic sauce kuya gave us. The fries were just ok for me, I wish they had used wedges or hand cut fries? Anyways, negligible!
We thoroughly enjoyed our experience especially with kuya server giving us a bit of background and info about the place and owners. Rejoice northerners, they might open daw in UP Town!
After this I don't think any chicken sandwich will come close! I cannot wait till I'm in the area again so I can get this uber yummy sandwich!

Nice, unpretentious place with good food. Their chicken burger has the right crunch and is best paired with your beer of choice. It kinda tastes like the chicken at Bad Bird, which for me, is a good thing.

Their Szechuan Noodles are yummy as well. Savory and spicy, it was carb heaven. 128523

Will definitely be back to try the other items on the menu.

This beautiful spread for one. Chemical chicken sandwich with crispy, crrrunchy fried skin, garlic fries, and a yakult piña colada. And a box of crispy porkchop dandan rice to-go for the H, which I plated at home so I could give you a better photo. I put the p in the oven to crisp up again (eaten the following day and kept in the fridge) and it went back to its original crunchy state.

One of those places I've been to so many times. I love spicy, and I'm more of a bread and potatoes person so yeah, I love this place. That distinct crunch at each bite always puts a smile on my lips.

The dandan rice is not as good as Fire in the Hole, but still good enough to pair with the chops.

My pineapple slushee though needed more alcohol. I barely tasted any liquor. But the drink itself is good! Bagay to cool off my tongue from a flaming meal.

Good news is, there are more fries now per order than how they served it before. I wasn't able to finish it sa sobrang busog ko na. Service is still top notch for me, crew always helps me out with whatever I need, with a smile.

Exhaust is still a problem when you dine inside.

It's been awhile since Fowlbread opened in BGC, and I still can't think of a reason why it took me this long to give it a shot.

We always pass by this place, and I just recently discovered that they have a dine-in area apart from their food truck style seating.

It was 11am when I arrived, and the place was empty. Judging from the first few seconds that I was inside that small area I knew that I will have one pleasant experience, from the temperature, to the orange lightings and vintage design of the place. Even the smallest displays on the shelves were worth noticing, especially since this made me feel like I was in my own study room.

I initially thought of ordering their double chicken sandwich, being fully aware of my big appetite, and of my huge craving for fried chicken at the time. But when their server walked in, I suddenly changed my mind and ordered their regular chicken sandwich instead. I was also made to choose the spiciness of my sandwich, from safe, spicy or chemical.

CHICKEN SANDWICH P260
It was one joyous feeling when I finally saw that order of chicken sandwich drawing closer to me. It was exactly how it looked in the pictures. Each part of the dish was essential in making it great. The long, thin and crispy chicken skin added the crunch that was music to my ears on every bite. It's also one of the rarest times that anyone will agree that pickles have a place on earth. Its sourness was able to counter the saltiness of the chicken and the chicken skin. The dressing (which tasted a bit similar to tartar sauce for me) was successful in keeping the balance between all the elements.

ADDITIONAL SALTED FRIES P50
No burger, no matter what the patty is made of, is complete without the fries. Their thick cut fries were pretty good, but a bit much for the price.

Fowlbread is the kind of place everyone should try especially when dining solo or when looking forward to a peaceful, delicious and filling meal. Whether you decide on eating at their outdoor or indoor area, one thing is for sure, their chicken sandwich won't disappoint. Truly, with Fowlbread, you will never feel lonely again.

It's not my first time at Fowlbread. I was already able to try so many things from their simple menu. A spin-off from the successful Bad Bird, this restaurant is another brainchild of Mr. Charlie Paw... They serve chicken burgers with three heat levels: safe, spicy and chemical. I was already able to try these yummy burgers previously, which was elevated by the addition of that crispy chicken skin in the middle. They also serve fries-- either salted or garlic, potstickers, and garlic noodles. Simple menu, as I mentioned.

I came back after winning a gift certificate for a trivia contest I entered. Finding an opportunity to go to BGC, my fiance and I sat on one of the stools at the bar and proceeded to order... I got the chicken burger in safe while he got the spicy. I find their spicy level pretty hot already tbh. We got the burgers with fries and shared an order of pork potstickers.

Just take note that the potstickers are difficult to eat with chopsticks. You are better off with utensils as these fall apart easily. The burgers were delicious as usual, with the crunchy chicken skin a piece of heaven with every bite. Best paired with soda!

I like this place a lot and I respect the balls to open a restaurant with just a handful of things on the menu. Just means that each item must be good.
