Thier second scanner before entering the boarding area was BROKEN.

The women's bathroom had a whole on the ceiling. No tissues. No attendants.

VERY limited food choices. The coffee shop served overpriced coffee.

Of course don't buy from the souvenir shops, they're expensive! Their so called pearls are priced in USD! 🤑

Did I mention they had no AC?

Good thing our trip to Coron was a memorable one, this airport just seemed so unsafe!!!

Adios! 128111

Despite the low tech way of the airport, I liked that it preserved the "local" way of how things function way before. 128522

This was the kind of airports that I can remember way way before when I was a kid (I started traveling at 8mos old and having memories of different local airports at the age of 4 128513). Sure it was a hassle but the way the staff did it made special. It was a hard job giving out the 128230128230 however they were very patient, organized and courteous - words such as 'salamat', 'walang pong anuman' were given freely by the airport staff. 128077🏻

Kudos to them! 128079🏻128079🏻

I think this airport is way better than the airport at Tagbilaran. More order and I hope they will keep expanding the place.

The airport is small but atleast it's clean and doesn't get crowdy. There is only one food stall which sells pricey sandwich and coffee.

A small airport in the heart of Busuanga island that seriously needs some upgrade! The baggage claim is done manually by the crew as they don't have conveyors like most airports. They don't have xray baggage scanner so the inspection was also done manually. So be ready to have your things being exposed in the line of entry to the airport. The boarding area was also small and some of the seats need to be fixed and cleaned thoroughly.

Although I've mentioned a lot of bad things about this airport, I'd like to commend their staff and the flight crew by giving their best in interacting to their passengers, and their service especially at the boarding area. I just hope they'd improve this place soon since many people are visiting Coron to see its honest beauty!

T'was a breezy summer day when we landed to the beautiful island of Coron. And the airport's runway is just lovely. Don't you agree? From here, you need to take a shuttle van, private car, or rented vehicle just to get to the town proper. I think it took 30 minutes or more before we arrive in our hotel from the airport. So, its better to book a place to stay ahead of your trip schedule.

Airport is small and it lacks seats for those waiting for their departure flights. Also, the toilet needs some renovation and cleaning.

Airport's very small and is in need of an upgrade! Everything's manual here. There's no conveyor belt for your luggages. Airline staff just dump all the bags on the platform. They also dont have x-ray machines so when departing, the staff will ask you to open your luggages and they would do manual search of your things. Better hide your personal/sensitive stuff at the bottom part as there's a big possibility of exposure during the search. Also limited food choices and stores for last minute pasalubongs. Even the airline ;PAL) issues manual boarding passes.

Hope they improve and upgrade facilities since a lot of tourists come here.

First airport I saw where there is no baggage conveyer belt. It was just a simple wooden plank.

It is a small airport that's why only propeller type planes land here. If the weather is bad, the flight is most likely to be cancelled. It is also surrounded by mountains and good visibility, no fogs, are required. Make sure you're on the window seat to view the scenery.

This airport is really small and has no aircon. You can almost feel the scorching sun even while you are inside it. After disembarking from the plane, you'll only walk a fee steps to the structure that houses a small area for collecting the bags. The bathroom is clean although it has no flush. You will have to collect water to throw into the toilet for it to flush manually.

Arrived here at Coron yesterday! The airport is simple, no aircon and small in size. No flush, tissue or hand soap in the comfort rooms though. Anyway, we just stayed here until we found the van to bring us to the hotel, so it wasn't that long.

Recommended Food Resto:
Kawayanan Grill - seafood platter
Santinos - baby backribs
Centro Coron- chilli crabs
Lobster King - big servings! Good food but slow service...

***Don't eat at Sea Dive Resto!
Overpriced food...half-cooked chicken!
Tasteless fruit juices!!!

Hotel
Stay at Coron Westown Hotel!!!
Comfy beds! Good customer service!
Don't expect for a fantastic brekky...

Also, don't take the last flights of the day since some flights are cancelled due to no lights on the runway.

To go to coron by plane, you have to land at the busuanga airport. Don't expect a modernized airport in Coron. Their waiting area doesn't even have television. Their check in area is not air-conditioned. Check in luggage are brought in manually. Before departure, luggage is manually checked by security guards. Terminal fee cost 50 pesos. This airport need to improve.
