This is were my boyfriend and I spent our Anniversary lunch out and we were definitely not disappointed! 128077🏻 Every dish we ordered were fantastic! 128513128079🏻128079🏻128079🏻
We had the Stuffed Mushrooms as appetizers and I really couldn't get enough of those cute stuffed shrooms that were perfectly cooked 128076🏻
Next we had the Linguine Fratini. You'll love this most if your a seafood fanatic. 128516127844127837127844 And plus the Fussili Alla Puttanesca goes perfectly with the first pasta we ordered along with the pizza we ordered too (tho we forgot to take a picture of the pizza, hehe). 128517 But totes, this place def knows Italian. 128076🏻
The place might look too simple, but the waiters are really warm and courteous. 128522

I'm lucky to have good friends who always treats me. I think they know me too well. That's why whenever they wanted to see me they always treat me to good food. I think that makes our friendship more fun and stronger. Haha

Fratinis is an Italian resto located at the ground floor of Jazz Mall near our place.

Since we think we need to be healthy we decided to order seafood pasta and veggie pizza. Sorry i forgot to get the real names of our orders. I was too busy talking and eating at the same time. But since i have a nice picture here you can pinpoint what to order next time. Right? 128513

Anyway i loved the pasta, real tomato sauce and more seafood toppings. Like squid, mussle and shrimp. The pizza though it has less veggies on it, although it's a thin crust, i think it was not worth it.

We also ordered mango shake and lemon iced tea. Well both are good but i think it didn't make it to the things i want to remember. Hehe

A must try if you want something different. And the staff are really nice and accomodating. 128077128522

First try and a miss. I am told their arabiata was good. The crispy duck, not so much. For one thing, it wasn't crispy. Maybe six hours ago but not anymore. The service was good and the free bread as well. Serving time was a bit long at least for my duck and their ice tea. Will have to try something else next time, if there will be a next time.

I ordered Vongole for take out. Noodles were fine. Clams were fresh. Maybe its the sauce. I am used to white wine vongole. This one has fish bouillon sauce. I Was probably expecting more.
Good thing is they are on 50% off from 2-6pm on weekdays.

Pizza is super good!!!
Love the crust! :-)
Pasta is okay. Ordered the carbonara.
Green apple juice is so-so.

Tried this resto coz of their 50% off promo for pizza&pasta (regular size only) if you order drinks with it.

Total bill for pizza, pasta, drinks for 6 people: 700++ :-) not bad? If only they accept senior citizen discounts on top of promotions... The bill would've been smaller.

Who doesn't like discounts in this day and age. Saw their sign proclaiming a 50% discount on regular pizzas and pasta till January.

You have this feeling that if something is offered with big discount quality suffers. But not with Fratinis. The Del Macellaio or a meat lovers pizza was well packed with meat and the crust was just perfect. The Arrabiata was al dente and sauce just right to my liking not too sweet and not too sour. They had complimentary bread too how bout that. Just had one good full satisfied meal today.

Before I start, let me just say that I honestly forgot the names of the food we ordered. 128517

Pasta - Ordered the minced prawn ravioli in a sort of pesto-ey parsley sauce with squid. It tasted diviiiiine. 10084

Pizza - My brother chose the pizza. It had tuna on it and it tasted so-so. It tasted like those small tuna pizza breads that my grandma used to make with the oven toaster.

Drink - Literally the only thing that I remembered the name of. 128514 I got the A.B.S (avocado banana smoothie) which had two of my favorite fruits. 128149

All in all, their pasta dishes (including my mom's and brother's) were heavy even if you just order the small plates. Quite pricey (for me) but reasonable. 128522

Chanced upon this place for a meeting, and I was glad I took the chance. The fratini linguine had a tasty sauce and right spicy kick. Their supreme pizza is actually two flavors in one, with a white and red sauce base each side, and also with different toppings. So it's pretty worth the money. The staff were also pretty attentive, and the design was warm and cozy.

We went to Salcedo Park the other night and decided to check out Jazz Mall. We saw this resto offering 50% off on pasta and pizza so we decided to give it a try.

My eldest ordered a chicken canneloni , it was okay. Very generous on cheese and cream sauce tho a bit bland. I had Supreme Pizza, a red and white sauce with generous toppings too. I requested for honey to drizzle on the pizza and they happily provided me some. It complements the veggies in the pizza and brought out the flavors in every bite. May nagbebenta na ba ng "hot honey" sa Pinas?

Not bad for half the price promo but I will never try it again without a promo. Too pricey.

They also have this "Make Your Own Pizza" for kids for P255. Again, it's pricey. But my youngest had a blast rolling her own pizza dough, now that's priceless.

For authentic Italian Cuisine, try Fratini's Restaurant. The service is great, staff are very accommodating and the ambiance feels like you're in Italy. We tried their Buy 1 Take 1 promo for Pizza and Pasta and the super duper yummy Lamb chops with mashed potato. Everything is perfect! 128076tho its a bit pricey. 128522

Fratini's Ravioli Al Gamberoni. Home-made ravioli filled with minced prawn meat, tossed with squid and olives, and cooked in a cream cheese-parsely sauce. A creamy , filling, seafood raviolli dish from one of the latest establishments that opened at SM Jazz Mall.

Passed by SM Jazz to do some quick groceries. Pleasantly surprised to see that more restaurants have opened. Fratini's caught my eye because if their "Authentic Italian Cuisine" claim. Furthermore, I noticed a good number of caucasian customers dining at the place, thus lending some credibility to their claim. This said, i decided to try the place out for some pasta snacks.

Their menu is pretty extensive. A good number of pasta and pizza choices plus other dishes, wines, and deserts. I was intrigued with their claim that their pastas were fresh and home made. Naturally, this further pushed my foodie curiosity to sample them out. They were also offering an "opening" promo special with 50% discount on ALL their pizza and pasta dishes for dine-in customers paying cash. (Valid until Feb 10,2014).

Since it was a solo-merienda visit, even if i wanted to try their pizza choices, I reluctantly settled with one of their "best-selling" pasta dishes.

The Ravioli Al Gamberoni. Taste wise, I liked the creamy, rich flavor of the pasta dish. Nice seafood flavors with the cream cheese sauce owing to the minced prawn stuffing and the squids. Good green peppery notes from the minced parsley cooked with the cream sauce. Texture wise, a bit disappointed with the ravioli, the prawn stuffing, and the squid. These were all on tough side. I found the pasta too thick, the stuffing a bit tough, and the squid slices a bit rubbery. Sayang! Im guessing the squid was overcooked, the home made pasta---too thick, and the stuffing---overcooked too. I guess, my tastebuds have been set with the Va Bene Pasta Deli standards.

Just an observation. Bread was offered at an additional cost128561. Normally, Italian restaurants offer a bread basket free of charge to customers. AND, the pasta didn't come with a garlic bread slice. Hmmm....

If not for the 50% discount, I would have rated the place 3 stars. The pasta dish originally cost php 425. But availing of their promo, just came out php 212. Not bad for a home made pasta seafood dish.

I would still like to come back and try their pizzas, other pasta dishes, and other food offerings.

I had high expectations for the place because of their high pricing so we asked their waiters for their bestsellers. They recommended their carbonara and spaghetti alla pugliese... And it was nothing great or new... For me its just pasta you could get in any italian resto like Italianni's... Not worth it for the price. Sorry. 11/22/13

Try their appetizer platter. Consists of calamares, shrimps, mussels, mushrooms with cheese and herbs, tomato slices with mozarella, ceasar's salad, and bread. Good to share for 2-3 at Php 550. Their juices and shakes are just as good too! And priced just right and large serving at Php 165. Their pizzas are hand tossed right before you; thin (which is my preference); nice flavors too. But I suggest they add more layer to the pizza sauce. The servers are very friendly. Worth going back to, for another Italian fare fix!

New resto at the Jazz Mall of the Jazz Residences. Fratini's is a chain from Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia, this branch is their first in the Philippines.

Chances upon the resto when we visited the mall. The resto is clean and fairly straight forward. No unnecessary froufrou. We ordered their seafood pasta and a pizza (forgot the name).

The pasta tasted good (had to add Parmesan for extra flavor). Their pizza was interesting with definite potential. It's thin crust so you get the right level of crunch. I think it needs more seasoning but that's ok. I hope they adjust some of the flavor profiles for an even better response from their future customers.

Would be willing to visit this resto again. :-)
