What happened to their fried chicken? I am not sure if the quality is the same with their Katipunan Branch but I'm sure what I had from just a year ago is incomparable to what they served us lat week. The skin and coating were detahced leaving the white meat exposed. And it tasted a little off. We were better off ordering from the tapsilugan joint upstairs. I am just wondering why this branch is different from the one in Katipunan when they are near each other. Will never come back to this branch and hesitant to go to their Katipunan branch.

Healthy + Diet friendly + Affordable = Fresh Selections.

And this Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet is the yummiest! The sweetness of it is balanced and perfect and the fish fillet is so soft! Plus the sauce is so tasty. I really keep coming back for more and even if I just devoured this, I want more, and more, and more my friend. 128513 I just wish they put more carrots because I need healthy food while I'm on diet. But yes, had a delicious lunch, thanks!

PS: The serving's generous, it just doesn't seem like it because I had it for take out so it's put in a tupperware.

My friend and I had lunch here weeks back... I've been eyeing the place since we kept passing by here on our way to Maginhawa... Tinatawag ako ng Bottomless Soya Milk na sign nila!128079

Katakot ang parking dito... Or should I say, lack thereof... As in gilid ng kalye sa may masikip na intersection... Noooo! 128563

Anyway, very pleasant yung store... Wooden panels, lots of seats, clean bathroom, cool aircon... Like! 128077 we took over the big sofa in the corner...128522

I really just wanted the fresh lumpia and the bottomless soya milk... My friend ordered the milk, lumpia, and braised beef... Kainis, kain kargador e kalahati ko lang sya! Nagyaya pa sa Antiteasis after, bad trip yung genes nya!128545 I digress...

But when we were ordering, we were informed that we couldn't have the bottomless milk... Yung one serving lang daw yung maibibigay nila... I'm like, bakit, kulang ba yung milk? Ang sagot? Get this-- wala daw yung lalagyan nila ng bottomless milk na nilalagay sa counter... Kaya di nila kaya I-serve, pero madami pa naman daw yung milk... Wtf?! Ano yung reason na yun? Naasar kami ng friend ko, ummm, kasi walang sense yung reason at walang manager. These are the simple things that someone needs authority to decide? Sheeesh, yun daw kasi ang sabi sa kanila... Well, they were just following instructions, pero walang logic lang... 128545128544128548 mas ok pa kung out of stock na lang yung milk!

The food was very cheap and tasted okay... According to my friend, the rice wasn't that good. But the servings were pretty generous... The lumpia was okay for me...128522

Overall, though the food was okay and very affordable, I probably won't go back to this branch... I just don't find the experience worth the hassle... I'd rather pay more than go thru that...

It's summer break so I frequent our law office here at Maginhawa. That's the reason why almost everyday, we dine somewhere in this street or the nearby streets. I've been eyeing on Fresh Selections and it's only now that I've tried it.

I wish they had more/better choices of their salad. I ended up ordering their Pumpkin Soup, I wasn't hungry after all. The pumpkin soup tasted kinda like a halo-halo or fruit salad, not much of the pumpkin flavor was apparent. I didn't like it that much so I'm giving it a 3.

But my brother ordered their Sweet and Sour Fish Fillet. For only P75, I'd be very happy with that meal. The serving was generous and when I tasted it, the fish fillet was very soft and well seasoned with just the right amount of sweetness. I loved it, I think it deserves a 5.

I didn't expect the place to be cozy like that. Because of that, I'd go back for more. Their dishes are very affordable too. I feel so healthy and worry-free of my diet. I just hope next time all the meals in their menu will be available.

Two words that best describes the place: very affordable. Their fresh lumpia was awesome and so was their iced tea (which is really brewed by the way). I had lemon chicken which lacks a bit of crunch to the breaded chicken but the sauce was ok. I didn't think there would be a need for the stir fried cabbage side dish that they served along with the chicken. It didn't taste much. One of my companions had their King ham (I think. Forgot the name of the dish LOL) and thought the sauce was too sweet. Oh and their come on? Php 60 unlimited soy milk (I'm a sucker for soy milk)

The place looks like a college hangout of sorts.
Most of the seating in the dining area is good for a group of around 5-6 people. They also have couches to get comfy on. The place was a bit small but the interior was well lit which made it look like it has ample space and not at all cramped. Until you try to navigate it.

Lastly, service. It wasn't much. The lady at the counter was efficient. I believe the delay was mostly in the kitchen where everything seems slow (or our cooks seem to like to talk better than they like to cook) and the lady at the counter had to follow up each and every order.

Overall, the experience was ok. I was just a little confused as to what this resto is trying to be. Their menu offers ham and fish (mostly those that are cooked chinese style) while their decor and other product adverts are showing health buff food (organic veggies etc).

Food is Cheap but not good. 128546 I feel like the cabbage side dish is frowning at me!

Two words "Laman Tiyan" would rather pay more for a better tasting meal.

On a very strict budget? Fear not!

Fresh Selection's a budget friendly place that offers their guests meals free of MSG and preservatives.

Their rice meals are affordable and yet tasty! I ordered Lemon chicken and boyfie got General Tso's chicken each worth P75!

Also, since their salad wraps are the must try, we tried their Honey Vinaigrette Salad wrap. It was really really good! 128077128523128525 How much? P60!!

To top everything, you should order a glass of Bottomless soya milk! Yes, BOTTOMLESS! For just P60, you can refill you glass a number of times you want! 128525

We'd definitely go back! 128077128077

Servings are just right. Order two dishes (one fish, one gulay) and you'll definitely have for yourself a very filling well-balanced meal. Bottomless soy milk pa <3 We recommend: lemon chicken, new zealand spinach, lumpiang sariwa, honey vinaigrette salad wrap.

Their rice meals are 75-100Php. I ordered the General Tso and my boyfriend had the lemon chicken (both P75). Serving size is just enough for one person. If you're hungry or have a big appetite, maybe ordering two servings will be a better idea. Taste-wise, General Tso is pretty good. the chicken is savory sweet and cooked very well. I would say I got my money's worth.

The place was bigger than how you'd expect it to be, judging from how it looks from the outside. There are two diner tables, a round table, and an area with couches. Their walls were slate-colored, cool to the eyes. Save for one wall that had wood panels (pictured) which gave the warmth that you needed as well. It was neat and sanitary. If I were still a student, Fresh Selections could be a place where i can study or grab a bite with friends at. My only complaint would be that certain kitchen smell that stuck around.

First of all, it's got three kinds of veggies you can order stir fried!the kiampong rice and the cha misua (the noodle variant of the kiampong) were both good.try their lechong baka and sweet ham too!we will keep on coming back for more on the menu.downside:since the place is rather small, the kitchen is so near.pray no one orders fish because the smell would get into your clothes.

Decided to try this out with my friends earlier today. We got there at around 12:15, and it only started to get a bit crowded around 12:30.

There isn't much parking in the area, there are about 3 slots in front of their place which could easily be taken by other customers or other people visiting the other surrounding establishments. Alternatively, you could also look for available parking spaces across the street (like Ministop haha).

I was quite impressed with their interiors (their signage/logo gave off a much different vibe). I like how the lighting, materials, and furniture tied up to pull off that cozy, "healthy" vibe. It was a small space, but it didnt feel so cramped inside.

I decided to try out their Pumpkin Soup (P50.00) and Creamy Garlic Salad Wrap (P60.00). The Pumpkin Soup was lumpy. It tasted just okay. The texture looked (and probably felt) like Cerelac/baby food. Their salad wrap was basically the sauce + cucumbers + carrots + 1 lettuce leaf in lumpia wrapper. The entire wrap was only about 5 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 1 inch thick. Not worth the 60 pesos in my opinion. The sauce managed to seep all the way to the bottom of the sandwich bag they used to hold my salad wrap. The creamy garlic sauce was good, but it was goopy and almost water like (probably from the moisture of the vegetables).

Their food presentation could use a lot of improvement. Their plating (and plates...) need to match up to their nice interiors. Their service was terribly slow and seemed to be unorganized. Lastly, no wifi!

Had a late dinner here with my orgmates from the UP Pre-Medical Society. The menu was loaded with healthy options. To the point of blandness. Haha. I ordered the lemon chicken (P85) and unli soya milk (P60). The service was kinda slow though. We had to wait for an hour for the other orders. But, the crew were nice enough to be patient with some demands. :)

Had a really really late dinner here with a friend after rehearsals with the UPCC. It's not a vegetarian store pala! :)) Haha.

I ordered Lemon Chicken and Fresh Brewed Iced Tea. It did not disappoint! It tasted good. The ambiance of the place is good too. Although, minus one 127775 for slow service! :/ they took such a long time to serve our orders and we were so hungry!

Will come back here and try some veggies :))
