Another series of backlog posts! So sorry! Holidays got me real busy. So with the change of my profile photo here is a change in haircut and hair color. I wanted to get rid of that somewhat orange hue on my hair so I asked for an ash color on my hair at this salon. I knew it wouldn’t be possible since they have to bleach my hair. They suggested the next best color which is what you see on the photo there. No more dry ends and a really good balanced hair color. Now I’m ready to face the new year! Lol 128129🏻‍♀️

I’m one of those gals that do absolutely nothing to their hair on a daily; just wash and go or throw it up in a bun. That is...until the day comes that I can feel my split ends splitting and I have to get a haircut NOW, or my life is over (cue in the drama queen). I needed a haircut right then and there and I was determined to find a decent place to take me in. I saw Mae A review and well, she had me at “cookies”. Actually, this review is overdue as I’ve been going to Fringe for the past year. So, my first time there, I walk in and it’s empty, which is nice yet unnerving at the same time. The good thing is, there’s no wait. You’re taken care of right away and everyone there seems pretty accommodating. So I get myself situated, get my hair washed and then I talked to the stylist about chopping off my hair. The stylist listened to me and made suggestions, but the kind that was working towards what I want, verses some stylists that don’t agree with what you want and try and convince you to do something completely different. I was tired of my long hair but afraid that short hair would make me look like a siopao. But the stylist was a miracle worker and made it happen, sans being a siopao look-a-like! I’ve never gone to any other salon after Fringe. My stylist (I sound so fancy 128129🏻‍♀️) has since left but the new guy is just as good! Sadly, no more cookies are being offered, just tea.

A haircut for medium to long hair (with shampoo and blow dry) will run you about P700+. I think it’s pricey but I get a haircut once every 5-6 months so I try and justify it 128514. There’s underground paid parking but Fringe validates so that helps! They offer hair products there too but the staff doesn’t hard sell, so at least you don’t feel pressured.

All in all, I’ve been really happy with Fringe and won’t be switching over anytime soon!

I was in bad need of a trim. I felt like I had multiple split ends on my hair. Oh the woes of prolonging one's hair 128129🏻 I also thought that I might need some treatment coz my hair seemed dry. Upon inspection of the stylist here, I just needed some good old trimming as my hair seemed okay. Yay for tipid mode! Hihihi. I initiallt told him what I wanted and what my intentions are towards my hair. In the end, I got what I wanted. Oh and they offer some hot tea too (by the pot) and some cookies. 127850127861127850
