I don't consider myself having a sweet tooth but I do enjoy an occasional cupcakes once in a while especially if it is super moist and has a delicious frosting.

Frosted Desserts located at Maginhawa street is one of the cupcake shops I go to whenever I feel a craving for something sweet like a cupcake.

I first tried their Red Velvet and I was not disappointed. It is how I want it to be. It is moist and the cream cheese frosting on top was divine. It was a little bit too sweet but I did not mind because they serve really good coffee that you can pair it with.

Aside from Red Velvet, I also tried their "Escape." It is their piña colada flavored cupcake. I must say that Escape cupcake is also good. It was a bit tangy but I really like their buttercream cupcake. It is moist as well just like their Red Velvet. However, among the two, my heart still goes to Red Velvet. That cream cheese frosting really hits the spot.

There are so many interesting flavors available. I will definitely going to try them one by one eventually.

The place is kind of small but comfortable. The people there are nice and very accommodating.

I wish they could come up with more unique or delicious cupcake flavors in the future. I am confident that it is going to be a hit not just with young people but to everyone else. #loolooexplorerpackgiveaway

I have been to Frosted Desserts several times because I love their cupcakes especially when it is paired with their brewed coffee.

Tiramisu Cupcake is fine. It's moist but it didn't capture the real essence of a Tiramisu cake which supposed to be an Espresso Cake. The coffee may be a little weak but they have other cupcakes I enjoy eating like Red Velvet, The King, and Double Chocolate.

Their cupcakes may be too sweet but that's why I always order it with coffee to balance the flavors.

Service is great and the place is always clean.

My standard for a good cupcakery is the vanilla cupcake. I feel like they should nail the basic ones first. So I tried Jazzy Jane, their version of a double vanilla cupcake. I was disappointed. 128542 Too much frosting, so little cake. The cake was dense and bland. And the frosting had a slightly bitter aftertaste (I'm thinking it's either from the vanilla extract or the food coloring) and a very grainy texture. It did nothing to satisfy my vanilla cupcake craving.

After the disappointing visit to Cool Beans, my dessert craving was yet to be satisfied... I therefore asked my friend to accompany me to try Frosted Desserts... Great idea and good thing my friend was game!!!128516128516128516

The place was pretty small, not bad for a dessert place... Well lighted, with seating options on the outside... Focus was on the cupcakes!128077

I proceeded to try the Earl Grey cupcake, while my friend tried the Red Velvet... Their cupcakes were very dainty, good cake to frosting ratio, and visually pleasing... I hate cupcakes full of bells and whistles or with waaaay to much frosting (insert name of a famous cupcake store here128540) but end up dry! These cupcakes were luscious and moist and with filling in the middle for that added surprise!128079

The Earl Grey was a real treat, well executed!128522 lovely lavender color with that tea scent! The flavor was apparent and not overwhelming... The Red Velvet was okay for me, as I love Cupcake Lab's version the most... This fails to dethrone the champ in my book, but pretty good in its' own right... No pictures of those cupcakes due to low batt gadgets, but this is the Lemon Drop cupcake which I bought to take home... Another good cupcake, with a hint of tartiness... Despite the filling in the middle, it wasn't maasim... Very simple packaging, yet very presentable... Their prices are more affordable than others in the market...128077

It was such a treat to try this place out! I like them much better than their more famous counterparts!128516

I tried the red velvet cake. It wasn't one of the best I've tasted, the cream cheese frosting tastes kinda weird but the cake itself was moist and not too sweet.

Mr.grey cupcake infused with elegant earlgrey tea. Texture is neither dry nor moist but you really can taste the tea. Icing is quite sweet but complements with the cake. Try also "the king" and "redvelvet". Girlie ambiance and the crew is accomodating128077

Loved their chocolate cupcake, the best i tried so far but was fairly dissappointed with their cookie butter cupcake which is pricier than the chocolate one. The cupcakes ranges frim 50-110php i think? Aside from cupcakes they also offer milkshakes, teas and coffee which was just okay. Nothing to brag about but i like their place 128522 will be going back for that chocolate cupcake 128536

At first, terrified if we should try cos few people came in and out but why not give it a try. And yes, worth the try! Good place to chill cos the place was big and comfy. Ordered their Salted Caramel Sundae (120php) and it was damn good.. Not too sweet yet creamy. My friend ordered Strawberry milkshake (100+, not sure) and its good too! A bit pricey but worth it, though.Plus Ate is mabait and smiles all the time 9749127846

I love cupcakes from Frosted Desserts because it's moist and the frostings are just unbelievable. They are very quite generous.

I tried several cupcake flavors already: The King (banana cupcake topped with bacon and pure peanut butter), snickers, Red Velvet, and Lemon (forgot the actual name). All of them are delicious but my favorite is the Snickers.

Their cupcakes may be a little pricey but it's worth it. They serve delicious brewed coffee too for your cupcake.

some say that their cupcakes were affordable and some say twas a bit pricey, well for me some cupcakes are a bit pricey and not worth their price while some are okay. the flavor that had an impact on me was their Mr. Grey cupcake (the purple one). the frosting was made up of Earl grey tea, at first it tasted weird but when i finished the whole cake i found it delicious. Jazzy jane (the pink one) is the classic vanilla cupcake which was good but the frosting has a bitter after taste maybe due to the excessive food coloring then the others like the red velvet had nothing special, i expected more but i was disappointed. i can say it was worth a try :)
