Gave the wifey something new for Mother's day, Fruiquet.
Presentation was unique and edible hehe
Though price is on the high side.
Now wifey wants to make this as her own hobby/biz :)

Instead of buying a normal bouquet of flowers for my mom on Mother's Day, I decided to get her a fruiquet for a change. Fruiquet (froo-kei) is I think the first and only place in Manila that cuts, molds and turns fruits into wonderful bouquets... Or fruiquets.
I read on their website that you should place your orders 1-2 days before getting the actual fruiquet to give them time to pick fresh fruits and arrange them. It was a bit risky for me because I remember reading a not so good review for them a few years back. But wow I was so happy with how it turned out. It was HUGE, it looked wonderful and it came with a jar of Nutella! Lol it was either Nutella or a bottle of chocolate syrup. Why would you choose a bottle of chocolate syrup over Nutella, eh??? Anyway, it also came with a foil balloon.
They have over 55 arrangements (with price ranging from 800 - 3000) but because it was Mother's Day, they only had around like 8 Mother's Day designs to choose from. I got the Roma's Fave Bundle which had 6 big arse strawberries, 6 flower-shaped pineapples with melon balls in the middle, and A LOT of melons on sticks. I thought it was a bit overpriced at first but when we tasted all of the fruits, they were ALL surprisingly sweet! Worth the price after all! The fruits were on sticks and were supported by some styrofoam on the bottom of a nice looking glass vase. It was quite heavy.
I'm sure this won't be the last time I'll be buying from Fruiquet. My parents' friends and co-workers kept on asking me about it too! Goodbye beautiful flowers and hello edible bouquets!
