Food here was surprisingly very good. We got Laing, which was very creamy and not spicy. This is perfect with their spicy bicol express. Kare kare was also a surprise. It had lots of meat unlike other restos. Lechon lawali as also very crunchy, but could have improved in flavor.

The resto sadly is under staffed. There was only one waiter, running around to serve the entire floor.

Food is reasonably priced too. Around p299-399 per dish.

Over-all, well definitely be back here to try out their other dishes.

We found Starmall Prima in Taguig, like a rainbow after a storm. Waze directed to to pass the small backroads from PIlilia, Rizal to Taguig and I was getting frantic as I was in unfamiliar territory. There are familiar restaurants here like Yellow Cab and Hap Chan. But my son wanted some Filipino food and we took a chance and came right in. Around 130 PM on a Saturday in July, the restaurant was only about 30% occupied. Perfect for us as I don't like crowded, noisy restaurants.

The place looks pretty from the outside. Not your typical Pinoy place that usually has cultural decor. Chairs and decor are modern, and they have an appetizing bread and dessert table in the center.

Surprisingly, we liked the food! Serving was generous too. Sorry don't remember the pricing. What I do remember is it wasn't really expensive. Service was great.

Kare-kare was meaty, not just bones and a few veggies like other restaurants. The la paz batchoy had a lot (as in ang dami) of meat parts, liver and chicken. The orange chicken, a favorite of mine, was crunchy. We also liked the fried rice we ordered, kanin na ulam. The mango shake was sweet and refreshing.

From BGC you have to crossover to the other side of Taguig, via Bayani Road to get here. Non-ticketed mall parking was free.

There's a lot to choose from Fry & Bake! The first time I went here, I ordered Fried Chicken Noodle Soup. Actually, I'm not a fan of noodles, but when I tasted it, I suddenly loved noodles! The flavour is great. And I liked how the fried chicken blended with the noodle soup. It's serving size is big so it's good for sharing. I think I have tried most of the cakes and pastries they offer (since i live near F&B). The chocolate cake is so chocolatey. Lols. And I enjoyed eating it. I love the Japanese Cheesecake too!! 1008410084️ It's soft and fluffy!!! The brownies and cookies are delicious as well. Their cucumber and green mango shakes are great too! Perfect drinks for their sweet pastries!

I would love to try the rest on their menu!
