Friendly owners. Always helpful. I'm a creature of habit so I always order Kakiage soba. Clean tasting and good portion size. Recently tried their curry soba (without the pork) and it was pleasant tasting, enough curry flavor and it is filling.

I ordered the assorted sushi platter (P180) and had high hopes since the sample food outside the restaurant looked so good! Anyway, while the kani, shrimp, tamago and roe tasted okay, i didn't like the tuna so much and thought it could have been fresher... I even left one poor tuna untouched! 128031 What made it worse is the stale rice which was hard to chew at times.

Would i come back? Yes, definitely. Just not for their sushi. Maybe watching Jiro Dreams of Sushi did more harm than good! 128517

My son and I ordered Ebi Tempura Bento, Tendon,
Beef Gyudon and Gornaku ramen and enjoyed eating it all.

I'd definitely go back here , its just that the place is quite small so the chances of being seated right away isn't that possible.

Price is very much affordable.
Watching the chef preparing your food is an additional must-try experience

My affinity to Japanese Food is tremendous. Whether it's an upscale Jap Resto or your Fast Food Joint. I appreciate a good Tempura and Sashimi 127843

Fukuya has this fake display of food outside. It has a sort of Japanese/Ramen place vibe. Seating capacity is limited. Most of the time during weekends, the place is jam-packed. The food is okay. It's a hit or miss kind of restaurant.

For example, I loved the Sashimi. It tastes fresh and delicious especially with wasabi and soy sauce. The tempura value meal is also good. For 100++, you'll get a nice deep fried tempura. Other dishes though are just normal in taste.

Service is good. Too bad you have to pay for your Tea. No House Tea available 128531

We ordered tonkatsu bento, tuna sashimi, california maki and tempura soba. Everything was good except for the soba. I had high expectations to their soba because of its good review but naaah. Don't like it. Tastes like an instant noodles, good thing the tempura on top of the soba is delicious. All in all their food was delicious but never for their ramens.

Also, don't set your standards high regarding their katsus. yabu is still way better. But will surely comeback for their california maki and tuna sashimi ;)

For a small Japanese restaurant in the middle of festival mall. It surpasses even Teriyaki boy and Sumosam in their gyoza and their tempura soba. For me, they have the best tempura soba broth anywhere in the south. For 180 pesos you'll get a satisfaction of good soba. I ask them to separate the tempura so it won't be soggy when I eat it.

I actually forgot it's name. It tasted like takoyaki, but with noodles and it's flat. 160 pesos I think (boyfriend paid for it so i'm not sure) HEHE:) good for 2 if you're not that hungry.
Okay naman, might come back to try yung ibang foods naman. Mukhang masarap yung iba eh:D
And oh, when we left pala we noticed that the other customers have the same orders. Maybe they're known for it. MAYBE. Haha:D

I swear their serving size is shrinking every time I visit.haha! food quality never changed though.

Had their Pork Katsu Curry Rice and Gyoza. Their curry sauce is comparable to the ones used in Yabu so it's gooood. They always make good gyoza too. Plump and juicy.

No wonder this resto is still standing at Festival Mall.

-1 star for the shrinking serving size.

Service has always been good, people are nice, too. Food is tasty but the serving size is a lot smaller than when i started eating here a few years back. Now, it's about half the amount of meat. I still like it though. But if the serving gets even smaller, it's bye-bye for me.

I've been coming to this place for maybe about 15 years, so this is a very biased review. It started way back in SM Southmall.

I probably almost order the same thing every time, Tonkatsu bento, gyoza, and Okonomiyaki to share.

Though the food has changed(no jap rice anymore, no mustard with bento, mayo quality is bad), the charm and comfort that it has given to our family would never.

This was where my fascination of Japanese cuisine started. I remember my mouth watering every time I stare at the plastic display of food in their window, and not being able to choose what I wanted cause it all looked so amazing.

This is my go-to, cheap-ass Japanese resto. Non of that bull fast food rip offs for me.

Don't expect to have your mind blown when you eat here. It is still a special place for me, so don't bash it too hard. Hahaha

Me and my partner visited them twice already, and man the food and the service was great..

Even the place was nice and clean.. A place where you can relax and talk, no ear bleeding music here

Will try their maki's when we go back ;)

Turning Japanese! I love jap food. Been addicted to it lately. Love their Okonomiyaki Butatama (it's like Takoyaki but flat) So good! Would also recommend their Sukiyaki 9786 I'd love to come baxk and try their Sushi Set, looks promising!

Pipping hot tempura soba... & Crisp gyoza... Hole in the wall space & poor airconditioning at the mall but great value for money. A perspiring bowl of hot soup...a good short wait for freshly prepared goodies...

We ordered a katsudon, tempura bento and the omelette/pancake thing. They don't even use Japanese rice!

All I can say is...bleh. We should've just eaten in Tokyo-Tokyo.
