Gabs Good Grub is the perfect place for dinner dates, family bonding and friends hangout. Good food at a very affordable price.

We ordered Beef Pepper Steak 70php, Seafood Yssabella 85php, Pasta Ysabella 90php and the Iced Tea Slush 35php — a perfect meal combination.

Good ambiance, staff are friendly and helpful, nice location — though the place is bit small, food was really great.

Had our lunch today here! I was looking for this place since like forever and I didnt know that it was accessible from the office.

I ordered Chicken Piccata. It tastes like heaven!!!!
Hahaha. Very worth it because it only costs 70!!! I can actually compare it with the food from French Baker! :)

I will go back definitely!! :)

I just moved-in to the neighborhood and was scouting for a decent place to eat and I got more than I bargained for. I ordered for breakfast their Spanish Sardines Puttanesca, Ultimate Grilled Cheese, Mushroom Soup and Lemon-Cucumber Slash. The service was quick, the pasta was aldente and just the right tanginess, the soup was creamy but a lil bit on the salty side, the sandwhich was so so and not so ultimate after all, but hey! for a couple hundred of bucks, what's there to complain. Before I forget, the iced drink served in a wine glass is quite a thirst quencher and refreshing.

My former colleagues and I were looking for a place to have dinner around Poblacion. I immediately thought of having dinner at Gab's since it's near the office. Budget-wise, a perfect choice! Also, I haven't been here in a while so why not made them a visit again, right?

We got a big plate of Sizzling sisig, Potato wedges, Chicken Parmigiana, and Grilled Porkloin.

Potato wedges is reaaally good! And the dip that comes with it is just perfectly good too! Gotta love the sisig 'cause it's crunchy and flavorful. The Chicken Parmigiana has some tender chicken cuts topped with carrots and grated cheese in tomato sauce. This one's always a favorite of mine! My colleague had mixed impressions with the Grilled Porkloin he had, and told me that it's quite tough.

Always the best choice for affordable yet delicious food!

I didn't expect a place like this..... To actually taste like these 10024127881128165128171

Croque Madame, alone (5 stars!!!!)
I love how burnt the bread is, I love the sauce inside it tastes like salad dressing but even better. I even love the bread they used. I think this is love at first bite 128525 You will find generous amount of cheese, ham and egg inside!

Niki B ordered buffalo wings. It tasted good. Just the right amount of sweet and spicy flavor. We exchanged half of our orders. So she can have some of mine as well.

Thanks to our new officemates for introducing us to some hole-in-a-wall places around Makati.

It's my second time here, thus, another review.

I'm a promoter! I truly loved the food the I ordered.

127865
Iced Tea Slush for 35 PHP
- Please check my previous review for comments

127838127859127830
Croque Madame for 85 PHP
- Baguette-like bread with ham, egg and cheese
- The bread had the right crispyness
- Seasoning was just right
- I loved it!

127837127907127844
Pasta Ysabelo for 90 PHP
- Mixed seafood in white sauce
- The aroma was mouthwatering
- Taste didn't disappoint either
- Sauce was creamy and tasty
- There were chucks of shrimp and fish (It seemed like it was Dory based from texture but I could be mistaken)

TIP: For those who eat in small quantities you might want to share the food mentioned on this review since the serving sizes were good for sharing or spliting.

Side Note: My friend ordered the Buttered Chicken for 65 PHP. She said it was just ok since she found it too salty.

The rating (127775127775127775127775) is solely based on the food.

I learned about this place from my trainee who had been posting pictures of their food on FB. So last night we went to try it out.

I ordered the Spanish Sardines Puttanesca in penne. It was really good. The pasta was aldente and the sauce was so flavorful. The mild spiciness of the spanish sardines gave it a kick. It came with 2 slices of baguette-like bread. The texture was good but they could have probably added butter and/or garlic in there. The serving was generous. All for 80PHP! 128077

I also got the choco-chocnut crepe for 70PHP. It was ok. The crepe itself was made well but the texture of the crumbled chocnut didn't really go well with it. I shall come back and try other flavors like the mango or strawberry.

For drinks I got the iced tea slush for 35PHP. I could taste that it was just Nestea but it seems that they added some lemon juice or something else which made more refreshing. Presentation was also good.

My friends got the chicken piccata which is apparently one of their best sellers and the carbonara. Both were also tasty.

Not part of my rating is the place. It's a hole in the wall restaurant. Think Kanto Freestyle but smaller and cheaper. I didn't rate the place knowing this but what the place lacks they make up for their affordable, flavorful food. Now this is truly a value for your money kinda place.

I will surely come back to try the other dishes. They are open 24 hours except Mondays as they open at 12:00nn and Sundays they close early.

Note: From talking to one of the serves we learned that the owner's main business is catering.

Went here for dinner with colleagues after watching basketball game on poblacion covered court.

Though the place is small, the quality of their food is very good and affordable. I ordered Chicken Piccatta, a must try dish! 128076 And Iced Tea Slush. Will surely go back to try another dish.

Verdict:
Food: 4/5
Service: 4/5
Ambience: 2.5/5
Money value: 5/5

This is one of my go to places for affordable yet gourmet food, next to Kanto Freestyle Breakfast. What I like about Gab's is that the food is served right off the pan (prepared for around 15 mins so you might want to consider that) and the taste is not bland.

I suggest you try the teriyaki dishes.

This is a very chill place to go to with friends! small place though128521 we always order the pancit canton which is by far the most ordered food on the menu and a big serving also thats why. Here in the photo is putanesca and i forgot the other one hehe the sandwich is croque madame which missed so much but the kitchen burned it too much128547 ...but all in all its still a good place to hang out. And remeber to order in advance if you already know what to eat it takes 30 minutes to forever to come out128522128521 thats why you should bring someone so you wont get bored waiting haha128522128519128520

Sorry only had a take out since the place was full, ordered their crispy pancit, when the crew handed me the to-go bag, i already smelled the sauce, i walked hurriedly back to my friends coz i was too eager to taste it, when i opened it up i was shocked seeing a lot of sauce and jam packed crispy noodles for only 85php, it was delicious and very very worth it, talk about pocket friendly food finds, but hey don't expect to find a restaurant though, its just a food stall built in a house garage, sort of crimp and small you may just want to take home your food instead

Went back here to have dinner with college girlfriends. Honestly we went back mostly cause of the shakes.

We ordered buttered chicken, fish and chips, buffalo wings, mac n' cheese and grilled cheese sandwich.

I had the buttered chicken and it was meh128543 i had a bite of my friend's grilled cheese and firdt of all it was not grilled. I can do better grilled cheese. But the inside was melted naman with a bit of something else sweet inside. It was good but it would've been great if it was properly cooked.

Service time was a tad long.

Can't believe this only has one reviewer?

Had a midnight rendezvous with a couple of gal pals. Since t'was late we decided to check poblacion for some late night grub and tada we ended up here. Its like at the back of the makati museum.

They're open 24 hrs and they have like 4 tables good for 4-5pax each.

They have all day bfast, apps, rice meals and even shakes.

We had nachos, soup, and fresh fruit smoothies.
For our main we had buffalo wings, crispy pork belly and their best seller chicken piccata.

Soup is store bought powder type. But for 30 pesos what would you expect right? So it was okay.
Nachos were okay as well. Serving was just good for 2. Smoothies were a hit! We had cookies and cream, strawberry and strawberry- banana smoothies and they were all good!!!

For the main. Very good presentation! The pork belly was served with fried sunny side up egg and kropek. The chicken piccata had a really nice flavor! Very good. Buffalo wings was good too!

All these food for a total of less than 600 bucks! So will definitely go back for a late night grub!

Went here for dinner after having an overtime work last Tuesday night. I was aiming for the Beef Pepper steak but was already out of stock. So I just settled for the Tuna pesto. It was a bit sour maybe because of the tuna flakes added. It was also a bit too salty, or maybe because of the tuna again? I badly wish that the bread was toasted or with butter to make it a better combo.

Anyway, still good as it is. 128522

Had a dinner here last week before my meeting with a client. My previous experiences were more than awesome and never been disappointed.

That faithful night, I tried their own version of Chicken Piccata. The usual Chicken Piccata consists of boneless chicken cutlets and then drenched with sauce of butter, lemon juice, capers and white wine. It's commonly paired with pasta, and sometimes pesto. But, their own take was a bit different to make it a viand (paired with butter rice). The usual boneless chicken was there and the creamy sauce was quite the same with some alterations in the process. The sauce was creamy, buttery with hints of spicy taste mainly because of the chili powder on top. Their butter rice has been always my favorite. The dish was good for my liking; it was filling, delicious yet very affordable.

I've Been here a lot of times, but they still surprised me with their food. One thing is for sure, Gab's never disappoints. 128526

A newly added place to the |ooloo db. I used to pass by this place whenever I go to work and after work. The place was always packed whenever I passed by so that makes me wonder if they serve something good in the table.

I braved to try this place one Friday evening for dinner. I was actually aiming for Salt since it was just 2 blocks away from my workplace, but unfortunately, it was packed. Good thing, GGG wasn't that full when I came in. One of their servers escorted me to my table and handed me their menu. The place wasn't that big and could only accommodate nearly 35 people.

I tried their Buttered chicken fillet with rice (Php60,00) and their lemonade drink which I can't remember its specific menu name and price. I also had their Choc-nut crepe de luxe (Php75,00) for dessert.

Serving time took shorter when they served me the Buttered chicken fillet with rice. The serving was generous and each cuts of chicken was soaked in their flavorful buttery sauce. The dish also includes some pieces of Cracklings chips that goes alogl with the dish to avoid getting that umay feeling. It was good btw.

The dessert crepe was a favorite. Chunks of choc-nut on top of the soft crepe then drizzled with chocolate syrup and whipped cream on top. What more can you ask for? It's good and not even expensive. A must-try! 128076

Would like to go back to try some more of their food. They also have breakfast meals (like pancakes, toasts), pasta, wings, noodle, sandwich and a lot more actually. And they're open to serve you 24/7 if I get that right. 128513
