Ok. Food is tasty (the ones we ordered, at least), but serving is small and presentation is underwhelming. We had Shrimp Gambas, Angus Beef Tapa and Beef Salpicao. Spaghetti Bolognese is plain.

Place -
For me, it has poor interior. The place was a bit gloomy. Several frames and wine bottles were displayed but nothing interesting. I don't get the feeling at home.

Food -
I ordered Lengua Con Setas for myself and Paella Valenciana for the group. We were advised that Paella will be ready in 45mins. When they served our food. I was expecting more than a single serving of everything that we ordered. I got a cup of Lengua Con Setas. Just really good for myself. I even tried to plate the food myself just to get a good shot but I can't. For 240php, I think it was over priced. The taste was good but not extraordinary. It was not what I was expecting. Then here comes the Paella. Waiting for 45mins. was not worth it. Paella was nearly cold when served. 300php for the Paella was a waste for me. For me, it was like Java rice. That's all.

Value for money -
I have said it, not worth it. 128078 For 240php, I thought I could have more to share for everyone but it was only enough. I got around 4-5 slices of lengua.

I will not go back to this place but definitely I will visit Maginhawa Street again. 128513

It was empty when we went here, there were no customers eating compared to Gerry's Jeepney which is just right next to them. So we were kinda hesitant yet why not give it a try since we were craving for something Spanish dishes and I've read good reviews about Galli.

Unfortunately, it was really devastating and worse experience ever. They only have few choices to choose from their menu. We ordered their Shrimp Gambas and Fish Salpicao but neither of them were available. So, my boyfriend and I ordered Beef Salpicao and Paella. They asked us if it was okay to serve the Beef Salpicao for like 30 mins. We agreed because we thought it would be good and they have to cook it well. When they served it to us, it was totally ripped off because it was freakin' disappointed. The food was cold even the rice. It has really small servings and has like 5 small pcs. of beef which was too hard to chew and salty.

Suddenly, the waitress asked us again if it was okay to wait for an hour for our Paella. So we just decided to cancel our Paella and just leave the place and eat again somewhere else. Who the hell will wait for an hour? I don't know if the Paella is really available, and they even have the guts to tell us to wait again for an hour after we waited for 30 mins. which was really waste of time and not worth it. In fact, nothin' special in their foods even their iced tea was so basic. I prefer to eat in Tapsilogan which is 1000000 times better.

It was totally ripped off. Their price is really expensive and it didn't give justification for their servings and quality of foods. Their staff also were so rude and stupid. Why don't they say the truth that almost all of their foods were not available and just closed the resto instead. They were also kinda confused and it was like they didn't know what they were doing. They keep on chatting and having this hand signals. Now I know why there are no customers eating there. I've been eating in different places and tasted different kinds of food but this one was the worse one. Why don't they just shut down their resto instead of fooling other people. Pissed.

I'm not sure if you're aware but Maginhawa Street has become very popular because of it's new description "The Eat Street" or "The Food Street."

One of my goals is to try at least once, all the restaurants there.

Galli Village Cafe is a small place. They mostly serve Filipino dishes.

I liked their Bistek Tagalog because the meat was tender and tasty. However, it lacked presentation. It was too plain to think the place is like an Artsy place.

The restaurant was small and it could probably accommodate 10 or less customers. I think this place is still new because there weren't any other customers there except us and one diner. I cannot decipher yet the theme of their decor but it looked okay.

Most of their dishes are Filipino food. I ordered their Angus Beef Tapa (P190) because as what I have read, this dish is a must-try.

The meal comes with soup and iced tea. When my food was served, it lacked presentation. I expected more because the price is not the same with the "tapsihan" you see on the street. I think they should have made an effort to be creative with the food because the price that you pay in this type of establishment is not just for the ingredients of the dish but you also pay for the ambiance and the service.

The Angus Beef Tapa was delicious. It was tender and flavorful. However, I think it will taste even more better if they added "atsara" on the side and used garlic/fried rice instead of plain.

They say this is one of Maginhawa's new must-trys! I opted for one of their bestsellers, the paella valenciana. It's not what I expected it to taste like, but it was flavorful. It had chicken, pork, and seafood, so the waitress suggested to have beef salpicao on the side. They said the smallest serving's good for 2-3 people, but if you really have a big appetite, kulang pa siya na pang-isang tao. They also offer affordable add-ons, but nothing's really special.

The place was also small 2-3 tables inside, 4 outside (2 front, 2 back). But it's kind of good if youre really going for a small neighborhood resto.

The service sucks. Had to wait 30min before the salad was served. And another 30min before the paella arrived. Buti na lang mabilis ang free wifi.

Hole in the wall café along maginhawa st. If you're tired of your usual run of the mill cafe, and looking to save some bucks on brewed coffee and homey food, check this place out. 128512

Brewed coffee for just Php 40 and hot chocolate for Php 35. Food choices are very much varied too. From pastas, sandwiches, to paella.

Simple homey affordable café. Charming in its own right. 128077
