In this metro with sprouting board game cafes all over, Game Over PH is on top of their league.

128149Date for Two: XO Pasta, Cheesy Meatball Fussili, Pizza Margherita, Teriyaki Buffalo Wings

Overall:Let’s be honest, most restaurants offering board games experiences doesn’t really get on track when it comes to food. Game Over PH stepped up and changed the way we look at board game restos. They really are a gem of Xavierville area. Everything we got is surprisingly good, and heavy! But first, let’s take a look at what they are known best – their place for games, games, and lots of games!

The stretch of the restaurant – lovely wall decors and very neat interiors.

On the side is their impressive selection of consoles. Rate differs per size of couch. You may ask their accommodating waiters for rates and availability upon your visit.

This may not be the biggest selection of board and card games but it is a lot. Rate per person is P200/hour consumable.

Closer look of the wall art. They have plenty of room for everyone, for big groups and for those just having a date for two.

Another view. Btw, they have an ample parking space which is a big plus. Not sure though when the crowd starts to flock in.

It’s a bit sad to know that their arcade games are on repair on our day of visit. The above are the ones left. Oh well, there’s always a next time.

They have this mini bar at the farthest end of the place, if you want to directly order drinks or just have some alone time sitting at the bar stools. And oh, how cute are those Pacman decors!

In the middle, you can see this huge TV with lots of space for bigger groups. This area is at P950/ hour consumable. This is quite impressive. Imagine if you are a group of 10, you just have to shell out 95 pesos each. Just wow! Btw, this is the only area where you can play Wii.

We ditched the board games and chose this spot to play PS4 instead. This area is enclosed by translucent walls (4 groups can fit inside). Rate for these regular couches is P450/hour consumable. They have a lot of games to choose from and you can play different games within the time period.

Time for the food! We got two pastas – this one is their Cheesy Meatball Fussili. Drooling on those big meatballs now. Hihi. This one’s good but we expected more cheeeese! Lol. Nonetheless, it was okay.

The other one, our personal favorite, is their XO Pasta. This seems like just a plain pasta with four large shrimps on top, but mind you, the spicy kick is superb! We love how the flavors were played to create this one. The serving is very generous too, two persons can survive by just ordering these. But, of course we ordered more. Haha!

The Teriyaki Buffalo Wings is our first pick for a dish to be shared. Meat is tender and the coating is overly tasty. We wanted rice TBH. Good thing the ranch sauce is right there to normalize the taste and keep us calm from ordering rice. Lol.

Second pick is the Pizza Margherita. This is not your ordinary version as they topped a right amount of pesto sauce all over, making this our another favorite. (Warning: Pesto Lover here, there might be a tiny bit of bias. Lol)

With all these, would you believe we only paid less than 500 pesos for everything? Yup, it’s possible! We booked via Eatigo and selected a time and date that offers 50% off the total bill. You may sign up here and book your date, too!

A sweet treat, from us and Eatigo, when you sign up and book using our link or referral code: DATEFORTWO, get a P150 Gift Certificate of your choice from one of Eatigo’s restaurant-partners!
Value for money: You’ll get more than what you paid for. We did!

After our culinary class in CCA, me and my friends decided to hang out for a little while in this cool boardgame cafe around the area. Gameover in Xavierville is conveniently located near Katipunan, with parking spaces and security to guard your most precious vehicles while you loosen up with some food, drinks, and games with your friends.

I was really really impressed with the decor of this cafe. The simple sight of the arcade machines were able to pump my excitement to begin with. The huge television that comes with a huge, comfy couch impressed me even more. And to top it all off, the collection of video game materials (or more like a collection of the evolution of video games) from way back made me feel so nostalgic even if I'm not really a hardcore gamer (if that's what you call it haha)

|Sisig Pizza
The pizza bread/ crust did not use the usual dough. Gameover's thin pizza crust tastes waaay better, but still not overshadowing the flavors of the sisig.

|The Horde's Milo Madness Milkshake P230
This was one tall glass of milkshake, but its goodness made me finish it real quick. I'm not really into milo drinks, but this one really made its way to my heart. The best part is, it's not the kind of drink that is too sweet that'd make your throat sore.

P200 consumable fee per person, which already gives you access to the boardgames
P450 consumable fee per person for the small couch with video games and arcade, and an option to extend P150 per hour or pay P450 consumable again
P950 consumable fee per person for the huge couch, with video games and arcade, and P450 per hour extension

Indeed, time flies when you're having fun. We just can't seem to stop with the games and the laughter. We are so excited to come back again. I'm eyeing on trying their burgers with crisscut fries next time.

In love with this place!!! Food is good and price is reasonable 10084️ The endless game options (they have consoles, board games, card games etc) will keep you entertained. Definitely one of my go-to places. We got the salmon pasta, sizzling gambas, baked mussels. My brother got the chicken puffs (not in the photos). They were all good 128522

When food isn’t the main focus but it plays a major role in capturing a full gaming experience. Game Over offers both classic and current games, video based and game boards. They have family computer from the 80s, arcade from the 90s and current video games in three big screens. They have multiple consoles like Wii and PS4 as well as top of the line desktops for online and multi player games. While sitting down you can also play with board games or toys fit for all ages, may it be individual or group based.

My friends were here for hours celebrating a friend’s birthday. They were kind enough to welcome our reservation and waived corkage on a giant velvet cake we brought along.

The wait staff impressed me with their ability to multiple task- from serving food to setting up your games. They are also personalized and talk to you. One of the things I appreciated most was customizing a drink for my colds.

I enjoyed the Tiramisu dessert we shared as well as the thick Pumpkin soup I slurped too fast. The thin crusted pizzas were also satisfying, more of the cheese and less of its bread. The Chicken Barbecue Salad though although creatively presented was way too salty to ignore. The dip with it though was delicious.

My 15th birthday surprise bday treat for my son Latrell Joshua L last March 13 afternoon with my son classmates and friends.

Glad that I found out about Game Over 127918 located at 31 Xavierville Avenue Loyola Heights QC because my son really loves playing computer games so this is the perfect place to celebrate it with his friends plus it has cafe.

I had reservations and they reserved the biggest TV for us with a very nice sofa that's good for around 10 persons. Then we ordered food like nachos, fries, pasta, drinks and their sisig pizza was damn so good! It has egg on top.

The service was excellent! They even have a complimentary cake and sing a song for my son , staffs did a good job.

Thru have PlayStation , Wii, board games are for free too, name it they have it!

Good food, good service plus fun computer games like NBA2K16 is here for gamers like my son and hubby 127918

Hidden gems of Manila!

I never thought that a place where video games, alcohol, and food would actually exist. Now, we have Game Over, a restaurant slash computer shop slash boardgame place slash inuman place. This is the first of its kind in the heart of Quezon City. Upon I arriving, I immediately tried out their Family Computer, Nintendo 64, and Arcade machine upon arrival.

Come dinner time, I had three bottles of Heineken and a generous helping of some of their best selling dishes. I first tried out their appetizers such as the Beef Nachos and the Spicy Chicken Skin. The latter had a kick due to high-level spiciness; while the Beef Nachos were composed of generous helpings of tortilla chips with a load of cheese and beef. Not bad.

We then tried their Sisig Pizza. This thin crust selection had sisig and sunny-side up egg toppings on the typical mozzarella. It was quite tasty, yet not too unique or special. After this, however, the dishes became saltier. It started with the Creamy Salmon Pesto Pasta. This was composed of pesto pasta with a slice of stir fried salmon. The salmon was quite salty for my taste. This was followed by the Salmon Parsillade Rice Topping. It shared the same taste with the pasta, save for the noodles.

We were also treated to a helping of their famous meat dishes such as the Yakiniku Beef Rice Toppings and the Game Over Ribs. The meat of the former dish was not quite tender; and I had a hard time chewing it. As for the ribs, it was quite soft; but the dish was way too salty for beef ribs. I appreciate the fact that it came with roasted corn and a tasty sauce.

The burgers and salpicao were brimming with flavor; however the salpicao had the same hard-textured meat. The burgers were quite tasty; and it came with a good helping of crisscut fries. I think the burger took the night away.

The flawed viand, however, was compensated with tasty dessert treats. We had the Tiraccino or the Tiramisu Cappuccino. It was a pudding style dessert that had a mocha flavored based and a creamy texture. The Molten Lava Cake was a chocolate cake with a hot filling. Both were quite sweet and appetizing even after a long night of eating.

Game Over is a mixed bag for me. While it has great ambiance, the food still needs some improvement.

Had a Game Over sponsored visit the other day. First thing i noticed was the large tv in the corner and the wide open space. They also have a game room full of computers.

I was only able to taste the apps and pizza before i left. I really really liked the nahos topped with chilli and the spicy chicken skin! Both great beer matches.

The chicken wrap/burrito was a little bland and needed some acid to cut the garlic and cream flavour. Pizza was also 'okay' - also needed a little something more to make the flavours pop.

Aside from good food, you come here for the games. They have everything from old school super mario, to jenga, to the latest playstation games.

I never noticed this place not until I went to an event for a friend last weekend in Xavierville Avenue. When I arrived at Game Over I thought I can park just outside it but there is a wide (yet muddy) open parking space just across it. Still convenient compared to how getting your car towed.

The place reminded be of the general feel of Sheldon's Apartment in the Big Bang theory. The details put into creating that perfect geeky gameroom feel were just overwhelming. At one side you would see a glass shelf full of all gaming consoles. It made me remember our old Family Computer, NES, SNES, PS One and how me and my cousins smoked those consoles when we were little. For sure they cost a sum now as collectors' items.

The place has different areas: Board Games, PS4, XBox, Nintendo Wii and even a dedicated area to play old Family Computer games. Each area comes equipped with large LED televisions and sound bars.

I personally don't own a gaming console lately but the last game I've ever played was the Uncharted series in PS3. Per volume of that series takes me 8-9 hours of cumulative gameplay so I thought maybe if I don't have plans to buy the latest PS4, I can just occasionally play it in Game Over. In renting out play time for the consoles, it would cost 450php/hr. It sounds pricey but that already includes a free meal and a drink. Not bad because the servings of their best-selling food are already big.

For board games the places offers so many board game titles. It would cost 200php/an hour to play per head. I forgot to ask whether they also sell board games like in LUDO. I'll ask on my next visit.

This place also has a bar (it's that awesome!). During my visit tho, I've only utilized the charging bay of their bar. I was surprised they do keep a charging area in their bar. It helped me get home since I needed a charge.

Wifi is free in Game Over and it sure is rocket fast! So maybe it can also be a good place to hangout to get things done? :)

Game Over can be booked for events and birthdays for the barkada or family. They can be packed during weekends. It sure is an awesome place!

My son celebrated his 11th birthday with his classmates at Game Over Ph. He chose this place as we always pass by the area going to his school. Coordination with Jade, reservation officer, was smooth. All staff of Game Over are very helpful as well :)

The boys ate Game Over burgers which was very delicious and served with fries and dip. Pizza (margherita and super cheezy), salad and Pasta (fettuccini alfredo) are affordable and suprisingly taste good! Serving is big too!

Though I cannot really relate on the gameboards, pc games and Ps4 games... the kids really enjoyed! ... even extended another hour at the PC room. The boys also had fun for 3 hrs at the big couch playing ps4 while eating chicken puffs (served with lots of fries).

PS. Thank you Game Over for the surprise bdy song and cake for my son! Such a very sweet gesture!

Will surely come back for food, service and fun!

I thought I'm over board games but...

I loved the food!!
- Terikayi Buffalo Wings: the staff said it's "spicy" teriyaki but it wasn't. It's just sweet but still good. Good thing they had Tabasco!
- Meatball Pasta: 128077🏼128077🏼 yum! Must-try!
- Margherita pizza: thin pizza that goes well with the pasta

We also played 2 SuperMario board games and Mario Kart, which are actually FUN!!! 128522
