Okay yung mga value meals dito. P100-120 lang. Yung ala carte ang medyo pricey.

Really great delicious food. You can tell the kitchen staff really know what they're doing. Generous portions. You can order 1 dish and be full with two people. We also appreciate the vegetables, general healthiness of the dishes. The interior decor is a little too open, there is a lack of privacy. However the staff is very friendly and the waitress always makes us feel at home and welcome.

I didn't think this was a restaurant until I saw its logo that says "Restaurant" underneath. My mother and I were feeling kind of adventurous that day and so we went inside.

The interior was white with a few garden pieces. On one wall there were mounted coloured plates. The fluorescent lighting was too bright. Perhaps that was what they were going for - a kind of garden restaurant inside a mall. I thought the place could use a mirror to cut the white walls. The more I looked at the white walls the more I begin to associate the place with a hospital cafeteria. There was no table cloth. The waiters were wearing them. Orange plaid, interesting.

As soon as we entered, we were not immediately greeted. We stood idly a bit before a waiter approached us and seated us at the nearest table from the entrance. My mother was handed a menu and the waiter went to search for a second menu for me. After I was given a menu, my mother and I perused it a bit. Not much there. We then called the waiter to ask about the salads. There were four kinds. We asked if the potato salad was available, the waiter said she will ask and went to the kitchen. She never came back. We were then approached by a male waiter asking of we needed to make any additional orders and we said that we haven't ordered yet. He proceeded to take our order making recommendations. We asked about the stuffed chicken in lemon sauce being advertised on their window and was told that it was not available. The waiter then recommended duck. We ordered duck, a salad, and an appetizer.

The appetizer was okay. It was "okoy" or shrimp cakes. It was accompanied by a garlic vinegar dip. It wasn't bad. Then the duck came. Ugh. What a disappointment. And I was so looking forward to it, too. It was tough, dry, and burnt. It looked inedible. It tasted even worse. I feared my poor spoon and fork would not be able to take it anymore. I was not even handed a knife. Or a machete. So I stopped eating - that's a first. The salad came late. We ordered potato salad. We got cheese cubes salad with some potatoes and greens. It was bland. I didn't think it was possible for anyone to screw up salad. Boy, was I wrong.

The lunch was a painful Php 1049. My mother's senior citizen discount reduces that price but the restaurant's surcharge pushes the price back up. We paid Php 980 total.

Sorry, Gatsby. I'm afraid it isn't worth it.
