Inwas suppose to eat at Nolita but the were full that day so I went to Geisha instead.

The place was very quiet with only two tables occupied. The place was a bit faded and looks perfect for dates.

I got their Kurobuta Gyoza, Pork Stock Ramen and Pork belly in Skewers. The gyoza was really good. I think they made it really well because it was tender and moist on the inside. Plus, it tastes really good! After all, it's Kurobuta. I read some reviews and saw that not most enjoy their pork stock ramen but I actually like it. It's Shio based and has fresh mushrooms. I hope they use a different type of noodle but I enjoyed the warm broth. The Pork Belly was my least favorite. It was very appetizing by its appearance but it was tough to chew.

Gyoza curry Ramen, if you like curry do not order this for it lacks the curry flavor. The presentation of the salmon sashimi was interesting with led light underneath but unfortunately it does not add to the flavor. The tuna crisps starter was nothing special. Service was great but we came here because we were hungry, so it would have been better if the food was also great. Not impressed. I'm sticking to my fave jap resto next time.

This is one of those resto that I usually just walk by, we all judge a book by its cover at times... But this time a sign caught my attention "795 eat on you can" for japanese... This is a great deal .. So I check their tasting menu

They hv 4 signature dishes where u can only choose one:

We order the peppered chicken with mayo .. It's like 3 grilled chicken boneless fillet with 2 drummets & tempura veggies on the side... Surprise with the good quality of taste , chicken was tasty & juicy but I didn't really taste the Wasabi in the dip , serving actually good for sharing

Pork skewer looks so appetizing on the menu & so I personality order this for myself, love love the plating, the perfect crackled skin, but I find the meat too tough & a little bland for my liking even with the dip provided on the side

Salmon with crispy spinach was unbelievably delicious, we have it on medium rare doneness, and the taste was exquisite & luxurious ... Must try this dish & the portion is bigger than I've expected

Here goes for the unlimited dishes: the hv 2 soups miso & another but it was a warm night & we don't want too order more than we can finish ... So we went straight to starters

Rock shrimp salad, a lovely dish of crisp fresh green with 5 medium size prawns & Oishi japanese mayo dressing , yummy, would order more if only I hv a bigger appetite 128514

We got 2 gyoza , generous meat filling , skin was chewy enough but could hv been a little thinner but with the heavy filling, I'm not complaining & enjoyed well the fat dumplings ... Lol

Next came the crispy crabstick roll & the spicy tuna maki , both flavorful ,I didn't eat all the sushi rice with it , coz I'm already feeling the fullness128560 & they were so nice to allow me to do so( coz there's a clause that says NO LEFT OVER OR WILL BE CHARGED DOUBLE on the menu 128561, and yes I do read my fine prints... Lol)

We also hv their beef gyudon , thin beef strips , juicy & with proper portion topped on rice , veggies & raw egg on top , I pass on this one... Too stuffed but the others enjoyed it well

Chicken tonkatsu curry , breaded chicken fillet , potato salad on the side & curry dip serving is big , crisp breading , chicken properly cooked, some thinner fillets are little overcooked on the edges... But still a lovely dish I would say, big serving

We ordered everything at the start & order 2nd for dishes we like , the 3 of us were too stuffed we need to walk it off before bedtime... Lol... Oh the things we put ourselves through... Now we can't even go for drinks ... Hahahaha

All in all, good quality food, portion bigger than expected, nice classy & cozy ambiance, friendly & efficient service... my water glass was always full... Lol don't know if this is service par excellence 128076or a trick of the buffet trade?... Lol & it's working... Lol128514128514128079, clean & huge restrooms, I would say it's really good value for money ... Job well done ...another happy patron here 128077

Japanese food is one of my ultimate favorite cuisines! If I had to eat Japanese food everyday, I wouldn't mind! (And if I had the money, I would eat at Geisha every.single.time!!)

They have THE BEST spicy tuna roll (and spicy tuna crisps - oh my god these are amazing)! I also love how consistent they are with the quality and presentation of the food. I have been here many times and it has always been a very pleasant experience. 128149

It may be a little pricey but it is definitely worth every Peso!

The gyudon lacked fhat certain "Japanese" taste, serving was small vs the price (php397). The meat was tender though. 128078

Same with the chasyu ramen. The soup tasted flat and lacking in flavor. 128078

Not going back here.

At first I was skeptical about their tasting buffet, as it only had a handful of choices (and not the special entrees on the menu) that seemed a tad bit pricey. I tried, in specific order; spicy salmon roll, rock shrimp tempura, Gyoza, chicken teriyaki, salmon with baby spinach chips, roast pork ramen, and gyudon. Yep, all that.

Good? Definitely.
Value for money? Of course. But
is it different from all the dozens of Japanese restos out there? Afraid not.
One thing that was pretty awesome? Their hot teas. You've to try it out to believe the quality.

Would I go back? Yes. :)

This place is "sulit" for the price it offers for their buffet.

Everything was delicious and tasty.
My friends and I ordered:
Skewered Pork (must try)
Shrimp Tempura
Beef tepanyaki
Grilled Salmon
Yakisoba
Spicy Tuna Roll (yummy)
Crunchy crab roll

We weren't able to try everything on their buffet menu because you'd pay double if you have leftovers.

Anyway, definitely coming back.

All I had was their salmon sashimi and I really liked it. It tasted fresh, but not as fatty as I want it though. What got my attention was how they presented it, on top of a bowl of crushed ice with light underneath, wait for it to melt then you'll see a mini flashlight covered in plastic floating in your bowl..lol service feels a little luxurious, and if its a nice weather-out, opt for the al fresco seating and enjoy the view of BHS central while you eat.

First plan was to dine at Burgers and Brewskies but what happened is the exact opposite! 128517

Geisha is one of the places to look forward to with vegetarian dishes. With a lunch treat c/o a good friend for catch-up kwento and celebration, we got the Salmon with Baby Spinach Chips, Tofu Teriyaki Roll and Unchicken Lettuce Wrap. So healthyyyy~!

You may think these are three dishes but they're actually filling already. What I loved most is the Salmon of course especially with its ponzu sauce! I enjoyed it too much that I forgot to take a photo! 128518 These came along with Wasabi mash koroke as well, it tasted so much like potato croquettes - how deceiving yet delish! 128077

The Unchicken Lettuce Wrap is a vegetarian chicken with bellpeppers, onions and togue wrapped nicely in lettuce. With its sauce, it gave it more richness and the veggies are not dry either. 128076

As for the Tofu Teriyaki, we first thought the waiter served us the wrong dish. But on how it looked, you'll never realize this is vegetarian! 128518128077 You'll get what I meant when you see the photo.

Overall, a good place for unique Japanese dishes with average price on the pocket. 128077

We had some Tamago Sashimi, Salmon Sashimi, Kurobota Gyoza and the wasabi Pepper Chicken.

The Sashimi wasn't all that. It was thick but not so the texture and taste wasn't that good. I think that Yuujin and Nihonbashitei is still better. You'll know the difference when you've been there.

The Kurobota Gyoza was actually good. Taste was unique and it was really juicy. The miso tomato sauce was a new added dimension to the dish too.

The Wasabi Pepper Chicken was good but not fantastic. The wasabi and pepper mix was nice but the dish was really oily.

Service had a good first impression but got pulled down by getting our chicken order wrong. We had to wait 5 mins (but it wasn't 5 mins) for the right dish. They also got the order of the table beside us wrong. More minus points.

Ambiance was really nice. Value for money not so much.

Not sure if I'd come back.

Had a wonderful time with my team here. We had buffet for 795pesos + tax and it's totally sulit. My super entree was suppose to be a pan fried (if im not mistaken) salmon with spinach as side dish but I opted to have it as sashimi because I'm a big fan of raw. (Lol jk) anyhoo, I enjoyed everything that was served in our table except the gyoza because too me it's kind of super moist or soft, whatever I didn't like it.
Over all the food and ambience is perfect. I could imagine bringing a special someone here for dinner dates. (Yown) The buffet is sulit although I think the ala carte food here is really pricey so I prefer you opt for the buffet . Lol.

The salmon and king prawn roll is to die for - pricey but the texture is amazing. The spicy tuna crisps is also a must try, it's a creative spin on the spicy tuna salad. Right now they have a P795 all you can eat tasting menu, will go back for that for sure!
