My fave ice cream place 128515 this time I tried Pistachio flavor, it was good! Not too sweet so it's perfect! I still prefer their whisky/rum&raisin flavors though 128513

Another gelato run while trying to cope with the intense heat and sticky feeling that summer brings.

Hubby went with the Whisky which wasn't overpowering. There was just a slight alcohol taste. He liked my Caffe better. I always go for a coffee or mocha flavored ice cream/gelato. This one was pretty good too. Hassle lang there was one really bitter coffee bean that was mixed in. their gelato is creamy and the cone was crunchy.

Gelatone has been in the exact same spot ever since but I never knew there was a dining area. The server asked if we were dining in but we decided to roam around the mall already. Maybe next time 128516

Yay for alcohol in ice cream!! Although they ran out of my recent favorite - whisky gelato; I decided to go with previous fave rum&raisin and black cherry non-alcoholic). They were both yummy 128523 but I miss my whisky 128566

I will forever associate this place with my friend who once burned what little money he had for gelato. How much was it? Well, it's a hundred pesos for a scoop! The place in question? It's called Gelatone.

You can choose to hang out inside the store or just buy gelato-on-the-go from the salesperson who mans the stall outside. Since I was supposed to meet a friend, I chose the latter. The glass shelf was a sight to behold. Really, what's up with the gelatos? Why do they look so lovely that one look is enough to have you drooling?

My friend ordered, Pistachio. I didn't get to taste it but according to him it was really good. Considering he is a picky eater, I'm taking his word for it.

I, on the other hand, went for the Coffee flavor. If there is one thing I am sure of about gelatos is that they taste way better than regular ice cream; this one wasn't an exception. It is oh so creamy and the coffee taste though present, was not overwhelming. It was just a scoop, but it was sure a big one. Surprisingly, it didn't melt fast so it was a joy to eat.

Yes, we picked common (boring) flavors but give us a break. It was our first time buying from Gelatone and it was PHP100 a scoop so we weren't feeling adventurous. There is a 10-peso discount by the way if you're buying two scoops so that's PHP90. And you can have it by a kilo, that's PHP990, for half a kilo that's PHP550. If you choose to dine in you have to deal with the additional charge for their service.

One hundred per scoop is still a tad too much for me but at least I get to try it. Let's just say that it's one of those things that I'd do when I have extra moolah.

Dessert time after some Filipino food dinner. Looked for a good gelato store in G3 and found my answered prayer along the hallways outside the mall.

Gelatone offers different gelato flavors. Found it weird that no service crew was outside that time to attend to customers. I even went inside the store to ask if I could buy some ice cream. When the service crew went outside, she looked annoyed at me. Darn.

Ordered Nutella flavor. I was super disappointed because their gelato was soft served! It was like soft Pinoy street sorbet. I don't know I even felt like Selecta Ice Creams would taste way better than theirs. Well, it looked not delicious in the first place. Presentation was plainly boring. You'll see the flavor labels handwritten in pentel pen and ballpen! *sigh*

I've always liked alcohol-flavored ice cream 128525 Rum&Raisin has always been my flavor of choice when it comes to gelato. This time, I saw Gelatone has whisky-flavored gelato; and decided to give it a try! Ohhh it's so delicious 128077128525128523 I'll come back for more!!

Sometimes, you just have to satisfy your ice cream cravings.

Recently, I've been craving for coffee and ice cream.

On a recent trip to Greenbelt with mom, I wanted to have gelato for dessert and decided to try out Gelatone as it was the closest to our location. I had the Stracc-something (aren't Italian-flavored names just so hard to pronouce!), which is chocolate with Nestlé crunch bits.

Earlier, while at dinner with a friend, I was again craving for ice cream. Since we were already in the Greenbelt area, I looked for Gelatone which I was already familiar with. I decided to go for coffee flavored ice cream with Nestlé crunch bits.

Obviously, I am liking the Nestlé crunch bits.

For P100 for one scoop, the price isn't bad, but it's not quite cheap either. You can opt for a cone or a cup, but i always feel like ice creams are best enjoyed when you get a taste of the cone.

Ice creams are enjoyed as take out, but earlier I opted to try dining in so me and my friend could rest while enjoying our desserts. As mentioned by my companion, the inside of Gelatone's dine-in area is reminiscent of a diner. It's quite small, fitting only 3 diner-like tables and 3 garden tables. Service is quick, but seats run out fast.

I'd like to come back to try some other ice cream desserts, as I saw a couple with stick-o's accompanying their ice cream in a glass cup. Looks yummy!

Midweek folks! You deserve a break and get a good treat. It's a must to try their Pistachio and Tiramisu. It's a bit pricey yes, but hey this is a gelato and sometimes we need to be happy. Ice cream makes me happy 128525128517128523128523

One of the better gelato places I've tried. Had Pistacchio, and got a taste of Tiramisu. Both pretty good. Creamy, flavorful and serving was good and worth the price.

Only set back was that the wafer sticks cost by 9 pesos each. Haha. It's a mandatory add-on for dine-in customers, which I found rather odd.
