The location is just 15 to 20 mins away from the Oslob whaleshark watching by tricycle. There were only two modes of transpo if you do not have a car of your own, 1.) Tricycle (P300 - back and forth) and bus plying through the Bato via Oslob route.

Upon arrival, Ate Daisy, germaroze staff, asked us of our itinerary and offered us the tricycle which waited for us as we go for whaleshark watching and a side trip to Sumilon Island.

Hotel offers unlimited coffee and tea, and went as far as providing us an extra hour after check out (we were left by the boat at Sumilon island because we enjoyed swimming 128514).

Though there was limited food choices on their menu, they have compensated it with huge serving. For P160.00 you get a cup of rice, 1 huge fish fillet for example, veg side dish (pickled cucumber with tomato), a bottle of soda and about 3-4 scoops of ice cream.

Overall experience was pretty good with very very nice and accomodating staff (shoutout to Ate Daisy) This hotel is highly recommended! 128077

Booked this place last April 2016 for a night to go whale shark watching. We arrived in the evening via bus and was dropped by exactly at the gate of this guesthouse. Buses pass by along the highway, so you can easily catch a bus when you need to go somewhere else. Very convenient. We were surprised by the looks of this place, imagine a mansion in the middle of nowhere. We had our room at the 2nd floor with own bathroom located outside the room. They have good wifi. Also, there's free water and coffee. They serve some food there but limited choices. You can also opt to walk a bit downtown to have a meal. About 15 min walk to nearest small restaurants and supermarkets. The place was quiet, not much going on around the area but perfect place not to be too close from the whale shark watching area which was super full of tourists.

They can arrange transportation to the whale shark watching venue. Got a tricycle for 300 pesos back and forth. Travel time around 15-20mins. The tricycle will also wait for you. There was quite a lot of people at the venue as expected, but whew still worth swimming with the whale sharks up close! The tricycle driver was also nice to accompany us to some pharmacies as I needed to buy some medicines.

Also a nice place to just chill after waking up early to see the whale sharks. There's a small pool with a view overlooking the sea. The staff here was really accommodating, nice and helpful. Felt at home. Overall great experience! 128011

I got this from since it has good reviews. Stayed here for overnight worth P1399 good for two. Thus, 9kms away from the oslob whale shark watching, but just 2kms away from the town proper. Easily found because it's along the hi-way.

A private house that turned into a guest house. Modern interiors with 5 air-conditioned rooms and has a huge living room but unfortunately, the room assigned to us doesn't have it's own restroom. Super hassle 128565128565.

The employees are so nice and accomodating. You can use any equipment/smallwares in the kitchen. It has a great view from the veranda wherein you can see the sunset 127750 and the sunrise 127751.

But unfortunately, i had insect bites all over my legs and i'm not sure if i got that from the bed 128557 or because i stayed long outside or due to hypersensative skin 128544128544 but my sister had a bad experience too.
