Located at Robinsons place antipolo, Gerry's Grill is a family go to. First time to review though. The staff are as usual very friendly though the place was really cold, hope they could adjust the temp.

Went here to get the kids their barbeque cravings satisfied-meat is soft and the barbecue sauce was a perfect blend of sweet and a bit of kick of sourness. 165 pesos for 2 medium sized ordinary tasting meat is a bit pricey

Also got their fried chicken served with fries, this can feed the entire family. Crispy fried chicken always a hit.

Lastly the sizzling gambas was also pricey, at 285 pesos you get a gambas which you can make or cook yourself.

Our main goal for going to the mall was to escape the summer heat and to relax after voting. We were bent on S&R for early dinner but the place was packed. There were a lot of people in the entire mall. We decided to just go wherever there is space. Luckily, we were first on the waitlist at Gerry's and we were seated shortly.

On the table
🔹Sugba Kilaw - the best thing we ordered that night. Grilled liempo that were seasoned perfectly, resting on a bed of soft tanigue soaked in vinegar. The onions had quite a kick.
🔹Calamares - very soft and no rubbery feel. Bland without the slightly sweet mayo dipping sauce.
🔹Sizzling Sisig with Egg - it wasn't that hot when it was served. The Sisig was soft and barely crunchy. It needed a dab of Knorr seasoning. We've had better.
🔹Batchoy - good broth. The noodles soaked up most of the soup.
🔹Garlic Rice - nicely seasoned but a bit oily
🔹Halo-halo - hubby was happy with his order
🔹Sago't Gulaman - perfect thirst quencher especially with all that crushed ice

Food was pretty ok. Coming back for the Sugba Kilaw for sure. Acoustics isn't so good and you can really hear the chatter. If you are surrounded by noisy tables, it can get pretty uncomfortable. Aircon was turned up and comfortably cold. Service was ok. It takes a while for them to notice you but as soon as they do they raise their hand to acknowledge you and come rushing to your table.
