Went to SM City Marikina last Sunday after we arrived at Puerto Galera, hubby bought new phone and we wanted the kids to go out and my aunt joined us too since she took care of the kids while were on anniversary getaway.

The mall was almost closed when hubby finished getting a phone. Before he paid the phone we went at Gerry's grill and place our order so after we got the phone our orders are finished.

When we arrived at Gerry's we waited around 10 mins. We got sisig of course, fish fillet, calamres and sinigang na baboy. Never thought their fish fillet and sinigang na baboy was good.

It took them a lot to gave our bill puro chikahan ang waiters half that I'm satisfied with the food and their wifi connection

Pinoys love their food in huge servings that can be shared by a gang. Pinoys never get tired of eating the type of food that they're used to - grilled, sizzling, fried, soupy, etc. These favorites can definitely be found in Gerry's Grill.

From yesterday's dinner, we ordered their Laing with Tinapa, Pork Sisig and Grilled Tuna Belly.

The thickness and softness of the Laing's gabi leaves, with its mild spicy juiciness was really addicting. Also, the tinapa bits complimented the taste of the green leafy vegetables.

The big serving of the Pork Sisig made it really affordable. The crunchiness of the pork and chicharon altogether, mixed with the sunny side-up egg and drizzled with toyomansi was just so good, every bit of it.

The Tuna Belly was grilled to perfection, juicy and tender enough. You won't even notice that you ate almost all of it in just a matter of minutes.

Gerry's Grill is a staple and safe place to visit if you want to enjoy your usual Pinoy dishes. 128077🏼

2nd day of our long weekend family foodtrip128106127860 Had lunch last Saturday at Gerry's Grill SM Marikina. Located at the ground floor beside Seafood Island.

We're a fan of Gerry's Grill. It's our first time to dine at this branch. We got sisig with egg , calamares and pancit canton. Everything was good for sharing , I loved Gerry's sisig because it's a bit sweet and crunchy at same time and their calamares is not hard to chew.

The staffs were accommodating, every now and then they refill our water. We only waited a bit long when were about to get the bill, we follow up for two times.

Total bill was less than 1,000 pesos. Fair enough. They'll ask you to fill up comments and feedback form. They have wifi here by the way and glad there was a tv beside our table so you won't get bored while waiting for food128077

it's been a while since i ate at any gerry's grill resto. was in the area for an errand and i was craving for sisig. the bf and i were too tired to go to lilac street markina so dragged him here before closing.

the sisig with egg was great. we finished the whole plate. the sinigang na baboy was a letdown. yeah the soup was sour enough but the veggies were tough. old tough veggies. had to eat it still.

lunch w family. we like going to Gerry's for good home cooked filipino food! all our orders were good, molo soup/ensaladaweggplant/sisig/karekare/binagoongan/friedrice. all perfect except we noticed the slab of meat for our lechon kawali wasn't choice cut, too much fat. good turned out to be good value for money for a little more than 2k, 6 adults including yayas left the place full and quite satisfied. believe it worth mentioning a cute little miss waitress, perfect service w a smile just forgot maybe it isn't a good thing to squish yourself in between any of your seated customers while serving. Well guess this small incident wasn't that bothersome to us diners like I said we loved the food as well as their real 'brave' mug of brewed barako!!!

Seafood anyone? Gerry's grill offers a delightful sea creatures for you to devour. It's quite pricey but yet it's reasonable, it's cooked almost perfect. What I love about this dish is the sauce where the squid is submerge, it's salty sweet! 128516

Ayaw na lang nmen masira ang mood coz we have something to celebrate pero I will definely erase this in the list and never recommend :(

Sorry for the crappy photo 128542

Had lunch here with my mom and her bestfriend. We ordered the following:

Beef Caldereta 110881108811088
It was good but my taste buds found it "matabang"

Sinigang na isda 11088110881108811088
Super asim and malinamnam. I liked it!

Inihaw na Liempo 11088110881108811088
Very tasty and perfectly cooked. The taste can be adjusted to make it better 128522

Crispy Pata 1108811088110881108811088
The highlight! Ahhh, super loved it! It was super crispy and flavorful. It's not that fatty. The ratio of meat and fat were equal. My mouth enjoyed the crunchiness of it 128522128522128522

Crab Rice Platter ( 2-3 persons) 11088110881108811088
Very tasty and huge serving.

2 plain rice and 4 pineapple juice.

Waited for 30 mins for the foods to be served.

My tummy was satisfied! The only downfall was i had to follow up the water thrice given that there were only few diners.

Even though Gerry's has been at it for more than or less than a decade, I occasionally crve for their native cooking. The place is still the same when we first discovered it rustic and rowdy (maybe a new attraction is in order). Gone are the days of long queue of waiting customers waiting for their turns.
For some native dish that's not too high on the budget spectrum; this is my go-to place.
The usual stuff that i crave and that makes me want to come back is their Tinomok, a very special take on the turo-turo veggie staple of Laing. Whatever fried or grilled "ensamble" you would accompany it with, you can never go wrong with it.
