"Sets the cheerful tone of the night" 127867 128025

Scorecard:
Inihaw na Pusit PHP 305
Sinigang na Bangus Belly
Crispy Pata

Observations:
1. Quick polite staff.
2. Reasonably priced items. Screaming menu "I'm worth your money, come buy me! 128513"
3. Everything was good for sharing 2-4 persons. Awesome 128525!!!

Suggestions:
1. Good thing we were seated inside, the dining ambience outside seems chaotic and humid 128565. The Iwata fans should be regularly checked and cleaned as it already gives out kinda hot feel 128560.

Expensive foods in small serving size. It was hard esp when you eat out with big boys who eat a lot it would cost you much more than you expected.

For my birthday dinner, we went to Gerry's Grill in SM Mall of Asia by the bay with my family and boyfriend. I wanted fish, so he suggested for us to order the grilled tuna belly. After the waiter served it, I immediately took a bite and my golly! It was my first time to taste this and I immediately regretted why I haven't thought of trying this in all 22 years of my life. I love eating fish, and this definitely changed the game. The fish is grilled to perfection, and the sauce (toyomansi) definitely nailed it even more! Kuhang kuha ang toyomansi na super love ko from my mom's cooking. Definitely one of the best grilled tuna belly in town!!!

Filipino food at its finest! Every year on my birthday, we always make it a point to eat out with my family, somewhere where they serve Kare-kare because my Dad loves it so much but he can't eat at home because the rest of us doesn't like eating pork and beef--the ingredients for Kare-kare. So we always consider his choices whenever we eat out on my birthday. Here at Gerry's Grill they over very flavorful Filipino dishes at an affordable price! All these for not more than 1,500. We were 5 and these are already too much for us. Super sulit!

Finally, after two weeks we got a table for the Pyromusical.
For only Php 500.00, I enjoyed my food and my fireworks. Sulit na sulit!
The inihaw na pusit is one of the must-haves. I also tried their sizzling seafood (the one with butter) and their fruit platter for a sweet ending.

I so miss looloo. I hope I'll be more active this time 128536

My grade school friends and I went here last Friday to have a get together dinner. Why here? 'Coz it's the nearest place to Starbucks aside from TGIF. They decided to dine here since it was actually too late to find other restaurant. The service really sucks. The server who took our orders wasn't inviting, he looked pissed getting our orders. They saw that we were group of 7 yet they didn't add plates until we asked them. They were even pointing fingers to who should give us plates. We asked bowl for our soup and condiments for the Nilaga but no condiments was served. Take note the place wasn't that packed when we were there. There were vacant tables.

We ordered Molo , which i think is a little too salty for a starter...
I'd give the Sugbang Kinilaw and Sisis a 5 because it tastes good and serving is generous for its price. Good for 3-4 pax, BTW. Food was great but i hate how waiters are looking away or avoid eye contact with customers. Such a pain making an effort to get off my seat and go over the counter for little things they miss like soy dish and table napkins.

Ate here after watching Iron Man 3 last Wednesday (first day of screening, of course!) and the place was packed!

We availed of their group meal and I ordered their tuna belly.

I ended up eating most of my tuna belly it was divine.

Ambience of the place was a little off because it was a little warm and humid. :( waiters were also out of their wits because of the massive crowd.

This is a good go to place when you're out with friends and you really want some serious Filipino grilled food, soups, etc.
