Company party was over, but the night was young so we looked for our after-party venue since we backed out of the original plan of going to BGC [Valkyrie]. Nagkatamaran ng mag-drive due to the heavy traffic.

We went to Seaside and looked for a place. All were jam packed and most probably, all party peeps that went to SMX that day transferred here for their after party.

Some of our officemates got their place in Pete’s Place, UNO and I was included in a group of 24 and we had a very hard time locating a place that can accommodate all of us. Last resort, Giligans…

We ask the greeter to list us on the waiting list – good for 24. 1…2… hours passed, the server gave us the menu and said we can do advanced and last orders. We ordered pork sisig, tofu sisig, lumpia, chicken and barbeque meals and lots of beers. Minutes later, we were advised that our table was ready. FINALLY!

We were placed inside [not an okay venue for the smokers]. The whole place was in chaos. Disoriented servers, messy floor, unattended customers, but we cannot blame them. It was a very busy Saturday and its Holiday season! Everyone’s trying to get drunk that day! LOL!

Since we already gave our orders to the host, we were expecting that they would serve that immediately. But HELL NO! We waited for almost an hour for our orders including the beers. The server even told us that we haven’t ordered anything yet. WTH! Not funny! Good thing, it was just a miscommunication. The greeter already gave our food orders to the Kitchen Crew, but the drinks were not endorsed properly. After several follow-ups, chicken/bbq meals were served, followed by our drinks and sisigs.

Despite of the overflowing customers, they still have the yummiest and crunchiest sisig for me. If not for sisig, I would only give them 1 star. 128556

Months ago, we also ate here because a friend recommended their sisig. It was an awful experience eating here before. So when I was craving for sisig and gutom na gutom na talaga, I asked my friends if they’re okay with Giligan’s. They said yes beside the fact of what was our experience last time.
And yes, hoping for a better dining experience, they failed us once again. We were on our uniforms again, and you know how the next things happened.
My friend needed to approach the staff (approach as in he was the one who stood and went to talk to the staff) just to get the menu.
Second, we transferred seat just to make sure that we can be seen by everyone, every staff… but still, they never saw us raising our hands to get their attention (it wasn’t crowded that time, by the way).
Third, they needed the manager’s command to get our orders, lol, are they manual robots when they see “kids” on uniform?
Then, we tried to follow up our order because we were waiting for around thirty minutes already, so we said to the staff “Miss, pa follow up naman po.” (sorry gutom na gutom na talaga kami), she just said in a whisper “follow up poooo.” I really wanted to laugh so hard that time but I knew it’s not really on the right situation.
Then, we were eating and drinking, and making chitchats about things and our last dining experience here. Ang tigas nung rice. We didn’t wait that much for that kind of rice. I’m not looking for very classy rice, pero sana diba, medyo mainit ng onti, tapos medyo malambot ung rice. Pero it seemed like ung tira tira sa rice cooker ung bigay samin.
Then, one of the chickens is raw. I wanna laugh again because my friend who was never really a picky eater became sensitive about the fresh blood he saw on his chicken. We were laughing but we took it seriously after a few minutes because honestly, our moms cook better.
I don’t know why this review became a rant. But the first experience was a warning we didn’t take seriously. We don’t want to be served first because yeah, there are other costumers, but we want equal treatment from the staff and crews. Not because we are students, we have nothing to pay. We also don’t want to promote hate about this restaurant but the shitful experiences we had here made our “last na talaga to” promises. We would eat at giligans again (because I’m a junk about their crispy sisig) but not in this branch. Poor service loses appetite.

Okay naman yung foods. Pero mukhang mas okay mag inom dito kesa kumain, medyo matagal tagal din kasi ang kanilang serbisyo.

The service is very bad. We asked around 3-4 times before they refill our "bottomless" iced tea and unlimited rice platter. We asked around 6 times before they give us "a" fork. The "bangaw" swam in my friend's water. So eewie. The crews keep on setting aside our requests and going on for other costumers'. The foods went great, especially the crunchy sisig. But the service is very "ugh". I don't know if it's because the crews are still under training or it's because we are students and other customers are adults and foreigners. Please, students like us will pay because we are educated enough to know what the word "manner" is. Don't promote discrimination, we know how to pay. Very disappointing 128530

It was okay. But, the servings were poor. They gave us a Kare-Kare with only vegetables but we ordered a Kare-Kare with beef.

foods are great. the beers are reasonably priced. but its always difficult to find someone who would attend to your needs. especially on weekends, you might have to raise you arms for minutes before someone comes. anyway, here's a shot of my forever fave Centennial Pizza. must-try!

My 2 best buddies celebrated there birthday here yesterday.. The place is good the service is way better though you have to wait 5minutes before they give what you need. But I do understand that because of jump pack customer because its Saturday and there is a PyroMusical. (Patiences is a virtue128522). What pissed me off128545. Only 1 comfort room is functioning. So you have to wait in long line. To think that you must forsee that alot of people will use it 128545..

Food wise. Got so disappointed 128553 to them. The rice is not a good quality. There Beef Kaldereta is a struggle.. Haist.. I think eating in carenderia is way better.. 128542128542128542.

Can I ask you guys?? Why is there a policy in every resto you need to pay extra when you eat a cake on there place?? Cake that they own. (Like in Giligan's we need to pay 200.. 128561)

127775127775127775 for them.. They need more improvement.. Will think twice if I go back again. 128533128533

Last Aug. 02 (I think), we went to CCP to watch Cinemalaya but unfortunately, they ran out of tickets, we were so upset 128532 but my classmates (Noel & Len) decided to just have dinner.

Noel wanted to go to Greenbelt but we said that we might encounter a heavy traffic going there and so, we ended up going to MOA.

I bought a usb cable from Apple Store and went to Giligan's since Noel is not allowed to eat Pork. We ordered Seafoods which I don't remember all their names. 128514

Treated them because Aug. 1 was my 19th birthday. 128519

Giligan's is a resto bar but our only intention was to have dinner there. 128516

We had an unlimited rice & iced tea and had four kinds of dishes.

What we hated the most in this restaurant was their service!!! 128529 ang dami dami nilang walang ginagawa halos mga nakatunganga na nga sila pero how come na they didn't even bother to ask us if may kulang pa kaming order?! Kami pa yung tumatawag sakanila for several times just to follow-up our order but then they'll just nod on us. As in asar na asar na ko nun. 128544

But then, the result of keep on following-up our order, the Kangkong something na inorder namin hindi man lang namin nakuha and that's our favorite pa man din! Haaaayyyy. 128557

I'll still come back here, maybe this time, their service will improve.

Crowded place, but their service is somehow ok. And the band wasn't that good either, i feel like she needs to go down from the stage so could replace her instead. Lol! The food, hmmm. So so. Not bad but not to good either.

More than the usual fried rice, their food is meant for drinkers - a pulutan I must say. What do you expect with oily and salty food?! Toink! Ambience is too crowded also plus minus point on their service.
