We're supposed to have a Maginhawa foodtrip, but, most of Maginhawa restos are accepting cash payments only (as per Looloo 128522) .

So we decided to meet up at Trinoma at 7pm. Arrived earlier. Second at the waiting list inside Giligan's. There's a different list for the terrace area. So after 5mins I was seated at a table-for-4 couch.

I was seated there for like 10mins but no one went over to hand me the menu, that

means you need to call their attention 128517.

When they arrived, I went out and told them no available table yet outside. So we just took dinner first. Didn't know they have a P99 Rice-All-U-Can Meals with free soup and iced tea. I ordered L'Orange (something like katsu with orange sauce but lacks then orange taste, big service, my rice easn't cooked well tho, soup was tasty tho), they ordered Lechon Kawali (slow service when he asked for the unli rice and mang tomas), Sweet and Sour pork (I tasted my friend's order and i liked it, tastier and big serving).

Gross Charge: P328

When we were finished and decided to transfer outside, you need to settle the bill first. They accept credit card. Took them 10mins to settle the bill.

Terrace.

Cool breeze, smoking area (I dnt smoke tho), Acoustic Chill Vibe at 10 & 11pm, good music, ordered:
P50 Red Horse (8) individually (again no Bucket Promo)
P146 Mexican Nachos (thin nacho chips -meh! spicy but lacks the cheesy and beefy flavour) spicy lang sya
P105 Mushroom (big serving of mushrooms, but i liked it drenched in butter 128518)

Took time to settle the bill.

Gross Charge: 651

NO SERVICE CHARGE 128523, No free WIFI at the Terrace area, but has WIFI from AyalaFreeWifi (60mins only) near the couch area

SERVICE 110881108811088️ slow, u really need to get their attention,
FOOD 11088110881108811088️ Lots of choices for the 99 meal i didnt enjoyed the mexican nachos and mushroom that much, sisig was recommended tho!

Waiting list. You'll wait 15-30mins before your turn. We went inside Trinoma first, then when we came back, we were already called out. They listed us as again as first priority again tho. 128077

It was Friday, occassional rain, acoustic night, ordered few bottles of beer, sisig was good. But when it rained (hindi nmn malakas) we moved near the umbrella area, that's the time they suggested us to transfer inside. We were hesitant tho. But, we still transfered.

That's the time that we felt that there was a problem with the A/C tagaktak pawis mode! hahahaha buti na lang ang sarap ng kwentuhan kaya hindi n nmin pinansin yung INIT that night.

Service - you really need to get the staffs attention for orders hahahah!

Beers were served individually (Red Horse P50). NO Beer Bucket Promo.

OMGeee!!! 1 star for plenty of reasons..
we dine here last monday (5.4.15) ordered S3 platter meal, they served us sisig which have a 'flesh colored tiny being moving' we called their attention and replaced the order after 5minutes (we weren't sure if they really replaced it or prepared another). then, the liempo is not even half cooked, the taste was weird and again called their attention.. i prefer water when eating, i asked the waiter plenty of times just to give me a glass of water. the crew weren't nice at all and none of them apologized for the things that had happened. very very very poor service. our first and last time to eat here. 128078🏻128078🏻128078🏻

GARURU'S BACK FOR MY DEBUT!! So we had a few drinks here
I DON'T DRINK BEER and I didn't want to get laid that night so I just ordered a Margarita hahaha!
The first time I reviewed Giligan's was for their food but I wasn't able to try their drinks so I decided to do another review hahaha!
Drinks are affordable naman but still, SERVICE IS SLOOOOWWW! Paubos na yung Margarita ko nung dumating yung lemon 128514128514
I recommend this branch if you want to chill kase sarap tumambay sa terrace nila, tagaytay feels pa that time kase mahangin haha! I'd give 5 pero bagal talaga nung lemon ko eh hahaha

After attending sunday mass, I asked my friend to have lunch at Giligans. As we enter the place, it was full of wood decorations and I felt I was inside a wooden ship. It created a unique ambiance to me that made me adore their interiors. I like sisig especially those crunchy ones, and my friend told me that Giligan's serve delicious sisig. It really looked crunchy and mouthwatering as it was served at the table. Every bite was crunchy and flavorful. It's creamy because of its mayo-like flavor. The onions were crisp and sweet that added to the overall taste. I can't say this was the best sisig for me, but this might be the best one for you! I was referred by Rufina C to join the #loolooiPhone6giveaway!

"What could've made this visit better?" - This is the first time I saw this question in Looloo. Maybe because I never gave one or two star in any review until now.

I just had the worst service. The staff ignored us not just once or twice but several times! I even called the Manager to assist us on something while he was looking from a far but he didn't even did a thing! 128542

I was so disappointed. It was my first time to try this restaurant but their service s*cks bigtime!

Want to know more?

We were celebrating my friend's birthday. Even before our orders arrived, I already asked one of the staff to kindly refrigerate the cake we brought and serve it later for the birthday girl.

Much to our disappointment, a different staff later served the cake still inside the paper bag as if it was a to-go. We ended up opening the box and lighting the candle ourselves with no surprise to the celebrant at all. 128542

Just to be fair. The food was great. Price is OK. The reasons why I'm still giving them 2 stars.

After our foodtrip in Sikatuna Village, we went to TriNoma first to decide if it's a wrap-up or if we'll proceed with our drink-up!

We strolled around the mall first until we decided to check-in at Giligan's for our drink-up! We got few bottles of Red Horse and San Mig Light lemon. Hahaha chix!

We also got a Pica-pica platter for Php331 that serves as our dinner for that night. Uber busog pa eh! The platter consists of Lumpiang shanghai, Cheese sticks, Maning hubad and Fries. All are good and perfect to accompany our beer!

-1 for long serving time and paulit-ulit na follow-up wala pa din.

I've been to Giligan's countless of times in Makati, Alabang, Cubao, etc. for a drinking spree 127866127867 with friends and officemates. However this is my second time to dine at Giligan's and based on my first dining experience in Alabang I looked forward to a satisfying gastronomic experience. They offer set meals which they call "groupie meals" from 2-viands to 5-viands intended to feed a group of 4, with a platter of rice 127834 (add Php36 for unli-rice) and 4-glasses of iced tea 127865127865127865127865 (you can make them bottomless but I didn't notice how much you have to add). The set meals range from Php475- to Php1,600- (not bad huh). You should try dining in with your family and friends. Their sisig, gambas 127844, garlic chicken 127831127830and crispy pata are a must try.
