I think all the katsu place have the same taste (for me 128556)

Ordered chawan mushi, california maki, special katsudon set and seafood set (prawn, oyster, kani cream and scallop) All set includes unlimited rice, miso soup, salad and fruits.

Too bad they dont have special drinks and ramen in that branch. 128543

This has always been our go to place in trinoma for it never fails to satisfy our food cravings 128522 We love their katsu and miso soup. The resto's ambiance is very relaxed and calming . The staff is very accommodating 128077128077128077

Our 3rd time in Ginza Bairin and we absolutely love it here. Way better than Yabu. Good service, good price and good food.

My friend is too generous to give me this to-go meal. She was worried about me getting hungry while studying. This was the first time I tasted this ...it was really good, hmmmn, must be pricey.

This was one of the restaurants that was still open when we were in trinoma so we decided to eat here.

I ordered their chicken katsu curry because I was curious if it tasted like the authentic Japanese curry. And it didn't disappoint! I tried the non-spicy one and it was delicious. Their katsu is also good.

I also wanted to try their kushi katsu but unfortunately, they didn't have the kinds that I was looking for.

Service is good but that is to be expected since we were the only customers dining at that time.

Pretty much enjoyed my Menchi Katsu! The meat was very moist and tender; the curry was also great! The cheese just sent me over the top... This dish is pretty hard to resist!128076

I prefer Yabu over Ginza Bairin on almost everything from the cabbage to tonkatsu sauce to the oyster. Rosu tonkatsu was pretty ok but the ambience was livelier at Yabu. This place is just too gloomy & exudes that vibe that you're eating something not worth your money.128078128078128078

I got the premium seafood set and I couldn't help but compare it to Yabu's seafood set. I believe that the latter is better.

Katsu teishoku served here are tender and juicy. The sauce is the only downside as it lacks thickness.

Service is also great. Servers will attend to your needs promptly. As of the price, it is cheaper than its older brother Yabu.

Since i love japanese food, we decided to celebrate my pre-birthday dinner here. The place is really small, and it was crowded since it was a weekend. The waiter that attended to us was really nice, really, really nice! We got the seat we request, he prioritized us even without a reservation, and he smiles all the time! The katsu set was amazing, but it was really bloating 128513. I'm not that impressed with the unagi katsu and miso, but the rest is really good, especially the salmon!!! 128077128077128077

Chawanmushi is very much like taho, except that it's made from egg and contains mushroom. It's served hot so just be careful! This one costs Php75.

Special Katsudon Set can be a good choice if it's your first time here. Get the set if you're a Jap. rice, salad and tea lover like me!

Since getting pregnant, I've been craving Katsu and finally I got to try Ginza Bairin when we chanced upon it in Trinoma.

I ordered their Rosu Set while hubby and dad ordered Katsudon. The meat is more tender compared to Tampopo's. Although, people keep saying that Yabu is good but my experience there was so bad. Let's reserve that for another post shall we?

I liked that place. It wasn't packed, it wasn't too noisy. Service was not bad either. In the end, I'm a happy camper! The only problem I saw was the sauce, it was too watery I prefer a little bit thicker. But everything else was good!

This is their Mixed Set D which is one of their best sellers, accdg to the waitress. It has tempura, oyster, pork, crab, and fish included already so if you want the complete package, you may want to try this.

I really loved their crab!!! It was so creamy and yummy. I must forget about the amount of cholesterol it would give me though 128514128514

In all, it was just an okay for me. Yabu is still the best when it comes to this kind of food. The only thing that was extraordinary for me was their crab, the rest are so so. Also, i think they have poor ventilation. Init na init ako during out visit. Aaaand the price i paid for their service charge was not worth it. Medj matagal magrespond sa requests and since we sat near the kitchen area, seeing their chef shouting and getting furious over wrong orders served by the waitress was really really not pleasant. I wouldn't think of going back there for that.

Lovin' katsu 10084100841008410084

I cant help but compare it to Yabu...
We'll from presentation to the condiments... They're almost the same... A bit cheaper for the price but all side dishes are refillable.

Their katsu sauce is good
Their roasted sesame dressing for the cabbage salad is great! Taste just the same with yabu

The katsu is a taste of yumminess!
(But yabu's katsu is my choice)
I tried their menchi katsu 128077128077128077128077

Service is really accommodating.
Serving is generous.
Value for money is reasonable.
Ambiance is fair enough.
the place is just too small...good thing we where seated at the couch area... 128523128523128523128523
