Here we see a completely open kitchen before the craving audience.

Somehow I was hoping that they would do some tricks while slicing the ingredients as they were on a platform ready for their stage performance. 128540

They have a smoking/non-smoking dining area, too and a second-floor inn to boot!

Giuseppe Pizzeria and Sicilian Roast does this very well. The chicken is very flavorful and juicy +++ roasted vegetable is perfectly paired with the dish. Dont forget to try their #tiramisu coz its heaven!!! no joke! Been coming back many times and they have never failed me even once. Worth the try guys! #bonapp├ętit

Happening now!

Third time's a charm and never fails to impress my Italian craving! Always the best flaky, thin crust I've tasted. Plus their off-menu special cheesy carbonara. Yummy! Still a mouthful of flavor!

Their pizza size is good for 4 people! Yummmmm! No need for hot sauce dashes or a thick swirl of ketchup!

Lemme see if I can secure myself a photo with their Filipino chef or their Italian owner. Hmmmm...

P.S. My baby nephew can't wait to dig in. 128521 And I finally had a chance to be seated at their wine cellar yay! Call (+63) 917 - 625 - 5582 for reservations! 128536

Back with a vengeance. 128514128514128514

We had vegetarian and 4-cheese pizza and boy were we surprised by the size! Four grumbling, growling tummies were thoroughly fed last night.

P348 for each pizza, 1L bottled mineral water, and 12% service charge. Total bill PhP 913. I was able to make a reservation ahead of time as they suggested it and lo and behold it actually saved us one good table as it was on a Friday and the Italian restaurant was jam-packed! 128519

Their pizza crust was still pretty awesome! And and and, I totally forgot about requesting for hot sauce. 128293128293128293 Oh yes. It was that good! I usually add hot sauce to make any pizza more palatable but, well, not this time. No. 128536

I cannot wait to make another reservation and I really want it at their much-talked about wine cellar! 127863127863127863

Woohoo! 127829127829127829

P.S. Their service crew were naturally accommodating but try to look for Ryan. He's good. 128077

Perfect pizza crust! (And the entire pizza, of course!)

Probably the best pizza crust I had so far with a thin film of flaky exterior (the edge part) but soft, chewy interior, yes! Somehow I described it but yes, I love the pizza crust! Most pizza lovers leave the dry, bland, floury edge of their slices especially after they have savored the good stuff but not this one. Is it vile to the Italians if you have your pizza cut into squares? I do that all the time haha! #sorrynotsorry

Their Don Carmelo, a recommended bestseller, has the usual toppings: mozzarella, tomato, onions, mushroom, Italian sausage, bell peppers PLUS carabao cheese! At PhP 400 + 10% service charge, of course, it was a delicious, filling meal worth coming back for. Would wanna try their Pizza Gregorio, Quatro Formaggi and Porcini E Pancetta on my next visit. 128523

Very engaging waitstaff, encouraged us to make reservations on our next visit. In fact, they can set you a table at their wine cellar/storage room if you want that intimate vibe, perfect for dating 128525 but can occupy up to 6 persons.

If you want authentic Italian at an affordable price, Giuseppe's is the place. Their 4-cheese pizza oozed with cheese and paired with linguine pesto cream made our night. Only request is that they add chicken or shrimp with their pasta for flavor variety.

I had one of the best meals in Panglao at Giuseppe, and it's definitely one of the best Italian meals I've had in the Philippines - at par with what I've had in Italy.

We ordered several items to share and they were all seriously good. We had the bruschetta and calamari to start: the bruschetta was a delight, with freshly made bread, while the calamari was made of tender squid (not tough at all) with a light crispy batter.

Next was the salad: I forgot what it's called but it came with a generous helping of really thin slices of beef, fresh crispy lettuce, and a nice light olive oil based dressing. My dad and my sister, generally veggie haters, tried this and liked this - so that's how good it was.

Then came the main course: two kinds of pizza (porcini e pancetta and gregorio, if I remember correctly). Both pizzas were superb. The crust was thin and crispy; toppings were generous and of high quality (I wouldn't be surprised if some were actually imported from Italy). They were huge pizzas as well; by the main course we were already starting to feel full so we ended up taking home almost 1 full pizza given the amount of leftover slices from the 2 pizzas.

We also had two kinds of pasta: lasagna and ravioli, both of which again were so good. The tomato sauce was quite delicious, maybe even freshly made from scratch?! Both had the right amount of cheesy goodness that I expected from them.

To cap off a good meal, I also ordered a cappuccino - good as cappuccinos go but not fantastic.

Located few kms away from Dumaguete City, its worth the trip for they have the best pizza in town. You will never go wrong with Gregorio pizza and their other Italian menu.
