I was so happy that they opened a branch closer to Katipunan. Unfortunately, the duck I ordered was hard and chewy! 128555

I can't remember the last time that I ate here, the place is pretty much a classic.

I ordered their Hainan Chicken rice topping and it came with soup. The soup was oily and too salty. The chicken was okay, honestly I can go for Hainanese Delights over this one because the chicken was a bit dry.

Their hakaw was spectacular.

We got a half order of their Peking Duck Two Ways. The wrap that came along with it could have been a bit thinner like President.

Honestly I did not like the vibe here. We were seated near the entrance and we felt very much neglected by the staff who all looked grim. Maybe it was because we dined there just a few moments before closing time. But then again that's never an excuse, most especially if you're charging premium prices for your food.

Overall, I would recommend that they train their staff to be more friendly, accommodating, and attentive to the diners. It would be sad to see a homegrown restaurant's good name be tarnished by incompetent staff.

Oh, they also charged us for the nonexistent sharksfin. So we had that canceled and later on we were informed that that was the pork siomai that we ordered. Fix your POS for gods sake.

Adios! 128111

Since its Chinese New Year, I told my Family that we will eat at Gloria Maris. As expected it didn't fail us. We ordered Crab and Corn Soup which was very rich! We also ordered the usual siomai and hakaw for prosperity. Then Birthday Noodles and Yang Chow Fried Rice. We would have ordered the Lapu Lapu but there wasn't any in their aquariums.. Service was quick and attentive. Good was awesome, a great start for the Chinese New Year!

This is newly opened resto here in eastwood the place itself tells you that ita expensive because of their choice of furnitures. Well the food is great this is not the first time i eat in Gloriamaris and i always lie the food specially their dimsum my favorite chicken feet, sweer and sour pork is different because the pork is very thinly sliced but very crispy, noodles, fish tausi and soup they are all good. Service is fast and the staff are friendly but the expensive.

It was a sumptuous dinner for my auntie's last dinner in Philippines. She came back to California. Branch is new, interior is pleasant, I like to sit near the door the view of the Eastwood park gives the restaurant a nice flashy view. Food freshly cooked.
