Goco ancestral house in Taal, Batangas was built in 1875 owned by the couple Juan Goco and Lorenza Deomampo. Juan goco served as a treasurer for the revolutionary forces
in Taal during the Spanish occupation which earned him the trust of the Taaleno. He is also the father of Raul Goco, the lawyer and diplomat and the former solicitor general of the Philippines in 1992 and former Ambassador to Canada.

If you want to visit the place, you can do it on your own and pay 50.00 per head but it is recommended to have a tour guide so he will be the one to do the explaining and tell u abt the history. Pio Goco, son of Raul Goco, offers Taal heritage town tour with lunch (Taaleno ilustrado luncheon) which cost 1,500 per head min of 5 people. After lunch, he will walk you to other nearby old houses owned by the prominent families or the Ilustrados during the Spanish colonial time. This is a must try especially for those who love history. :)
