Birthdays in the office are never-ending so we get the chance to pig-out and enjoy all the free cakes there are from wherever bakeshop it is. As a self-confessed sweet tooth along with my other girl officemates, we enjoy different types of pastries like cupcakes, revel bars, cookies, lollicakes, fondues, Panna cotas, but the most loved of all are the cakes.
Imagine the stress that we go through jn dealing with demanding and really demanding clients so when we have cakes in the office, definitely, all shall go well.
That feeling of joy and kilig when I get my sweet cravings fix, that do mean a lot to me so whenever I feel that, the happiness is simply contagious and what any better way to feel it than sharing it to others too.
Recently, it was the birthday of my 2 younger officemates and a birthday celebration wouldn't be complete without a birthday cake, right?
From the ordinary and classic cake shops like Ramos' Bakery, Red Ribbon, And Goldilocks, you'll definitely find a cake that will make the celebration happier and yummier.
Goldilocks at Mandaluyong found at the ground level has been there for quite a while now and in fairness, a lot of people are always there to buy cakes and pastries. It's basically a pastry shop only, no dining area unlike Megamall's and Farmers Plaza's branches.
This branch do offer a lot of items that you are surely familiar with --- their banana slices, fluffy mamons, chiffon breads, polvorons, buttered puto, specialty cakes and other desserts like leche flan and gelatin.
For Bridget and Haidee's days, we got the Classic Oreo Cookies and Cream Cake. It was all our first time to try it and indeed, the cake was good --- soft cake, moist full chocolate cake bread, not too sweet cookies and cream icing and the flavors went all good together. It's best eaten when it came from the refrigerator, slightly cold.
Simple yet classic, Goldilock's Bakeshop certainly has a lot to offer and if you're budget isn't that big, getting a celebration cake from here is really a good idea.
