Ordered my usual drink--Toffee Milk Tea with 30% sugar--a drink I usually enjoy here.

Didn't like the service though (the person taking the order is the same person preparing and serving the drink). So I guess that may be the reason why my drink tasted like it didn't have any sugar at all. Would have just served myself with iced water and I would have gotten that for free.

Plus--and I know this doesn't have any connection with Gong Cha, but this still has an effect on the overall experience--there was this ultra-loud, siren-like sound that went on for about 5 mins and people went on their way as if everything was fine dandy. While I was developing migraine.

Needless to say, should have went to Serenitea instead.

This is truly tea fit for royalty. 128081

Had my fave Wintermelon Milk Tea w/pearls to sooth the stress away. Though the service is kinda slow (lots of people wanted their cup of tea too), I still prefer their wintermelon mix. Right kind of sweetness coupled with yummy pearls 128523

There's a branch inside Rustan's at Makati but I can't seem to find it here. We always get the winter melon each time we do our grocery shopping at Rustans. Gong cha is our 3rd favorite, Serenitea being the first and Chatime 2nd 128525

Did I say I was addicted to milk tea?

My favorite milk tea blend here is the Earl Grey. I don't even want sinkers for it. Just plain Earl Grey Milk Tea 75% sugar...or if I'm feeling down---100%!

I guess, for me, I associate a flavor of milk tea and for Earl Grey -- its Gong Cha for me!

Tried their Wintermelon Milk Tea before coz it was their bestseller. It was simple but good. Got mine without sinkers.128522

But I never got the chance to come back. Maybe because I prefer Serenitea or Chatime's drinks, I rarely (or never) get cravings for Gong Cha. 128521

"Gong Cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me! Gong Cha!"128131128131128131

My comfort in a big cup! I wasn't feeling all grass jelly today so it's only Earl Grey with 2Js, but still with all the usual add-ons. Weeeee! 128522

I'm not into milk teas, but Gong Cha's Milk Wintermelon Tea I will have. It's difficult for me to describe because: (1) I have very limited experience with milk tea despite its popularity; and (2) I don't really know what wintermelon (kundol) is supposed to taste like. The only other thing with wintermelon I've tasted is hopia and frankly this milk tea doesn't taste anything like that hopia. But I do know that I love how milky and salty and refreshing it tastes. There's supposed to be a 3-step process for enjoying this milk tea, but I'm not really a milk tea connoisseur so I just shake it all up and sip away to my heart's content.

sorry got to get a photo for this, but who haven't seen a gong cha milk tea?!

my 2nd best milk tea joint. Had a house special milk wintermelon over a nice convo with my college friends after watching smurfs earlier. their tea doesn't really fail me. but to tell you their 50% sugar was like a hundred. I think it might have something to do with the tea type I chose.

for me they have the best milk topping among all sprawling tea joints in the metro.

Again, ordered their Gong Cha Wintermelon 'cause I was not in the mood to try new flavors. Had pearl as sinker but since masakit yung lalamunan ko, nagsisi ako dahil di ko pinatanggal yung pearl because when I was asked about the sinker, nagdalawang isip ako kung palalagyan ko or hindi. So di ko inubos yung pearl. Plus ang tamis tamis tamis. Pero dati naman hindi ganun katamis yun.

Yung lalagyan nila ng milk teas ngayon, with designs na so hindi mo na makikita yung nasa loob.
