Tried Milk Tea with pearl jelly. Tasted way better than the other milk tea shop in the area.

Mi first love for Gong Cha is found here in this branch! Haha! I got mi Gong Cha Wintermelon Milktea in a "sturdy" paper cup [since theyre here in Marikina, so no plastics]
So there. I cant think of anything to say. For mi, Gong Cha's Wintermelon Milktea is the best!

Because SM Marikina has gone overboard with their no plastic rule I can't really take a decent photo of the drink so anyway, as I've said before I'm no fan of milk teas or any milk drink in general but I'm willing to make an exception for the sake of review and they're really not that bad at all.
My mom and I especially love Gong Cha because they have really good milk tea (for our taste). Their teas aren't too sweet...yes, you can control the sugar level but not for my mom's usual Winter Melon milk tea and even that is really good for me.
What I love here is their Gong Cha Milk Green Tea or the Alisan version (w/c is Oolong) with pearls and 50-30% sugar depending on my mood. :)

One word. REFRESHING. I had tried different teas here in Manila but I was surprised when I first tasted milk tea at Gong Cha. Its not an ordinary milk tea unlike others with ounces of diluted tea, an ounce of sugar and milk, a spoon of sago then BOOM! There goes your high price milk tea. I tasted the difference of GC's own label. Must try in a hot season, summer! ;)
