This would be the most cost efficient place reviewed by this rater. In most cases cheap means poor quality. Not in all cased especially with Goodah Caltex Edsa. Been eating here whenever our vehicle is being checked nearby. Funny how the server got the order wrong when there were 3 of us new customers. He just chided with the cashier and continued working. Place may not have any fancy decors or even conditioning, but it does its job by providing 25 hours (as advertised on their streamer) of delicious food. Heck, for the price of P111.00 for Tapsilog and mineral water they even provide free soup.

Soup tasted delicious as if there was a viand mixed and the tapa was just flawless, not too hard and no powerful flavorings. Original and sweet are personal preferences. Rice monsters would enjoy the generous serving alone. Haven't noticed any fly/mosquito/mouse/cockroach around, maybe they got scared from the roaring speeding buses in Edsa (another topic that doesn't need emphasis). They even come up with one of the beat promos such as the Lenten specials, Group Meal that costs P215 and Blowout Time P49 meals from 2-5pm on weekdays. Who cares if its not air-conditioned, doesn't have a posh exterior/plates or nifty service, the food and price do the talking. Sometimes simplicity is its greatest asset, besides, when your hungry/out late and can't find a place to eat/lack some mula where else would you go? It's either this, a lugawan or Pares. It wouldn't have stood the test of time if they weren't yummy, no matter the price or place looked like.
