Goto Monster, located in San Antonio Village, Makati has got to be the best Goto place in town yet!

Had the opportunity to go here at 12 midnight after an exhausting night at work. Shooting a wedding until 11pm is no joke, so when everybody got hungry, lahat nagyaya kumain sa Gotohan. I got curious cause I've never been a fan of Gotos ever since. To me, all Gotos and Porridge taste the same so there's nothing really special about it that's worth craving for, Not until I have tried Goto Monster, it just changed my life. HAHA 128523

Goto Monster is a 24 hour restaurant no frills hole in the wall joint the serves affordable set of meals from Different Goto Toppings to Side Orders like Tokwa, Silogs, and Unique desserts, this place really deserves a spotlight!

I ordered their GOTO SPECIAL for P95 which is made of hot lugaw, ox tripe, toasted garlic, onion leeks and duck salted egg. Replacing an ordinary hard boiled egg with a duck salted egg is just plain smart. It made everything taste better, and no need to add fish sauce to the goto to make it tastier. The consistency of the goto is very thick and rich which makes me think that it's so sulit for P95. Mabubusog ka talaga. Siksik na siksik yung ingredients and it's very tasty just a perfect hot meal for a cozy weather.

The serving is big and is good for two already but I'd rather eat them myself only and not share it cause it was that goooood haha!

INSIDER TIP: The owner was there and I was happy that she was willing to entertain questions. She told me that the base of the goto is made from turmeric which gives it the yellow color and gingery taste. AWESOME.

I also ordered TOKWA + MUSHROOM for P95 and OMYGOD it was freakin delicious. The mushrooms were so garlicky and sauteed well, slightly chewey - it is recommended that you dip them together with their SPECIAL VINEGAR and BAGOONG sauce, MIX them and then you get a taste of heaven. ANG SARAP. I also tried the Tokwa + Bagnet, and THUMBS UP to the crispiness of the bagnet, it wouldn't upset!128523 The size is good for sharing too, but then again I wouldn't want to cause I want to eat them all by myself in this happy place. Lol.

For my drink, I ordered their best selling PINEAPPLE HERB SLUSH for P75 and tried their SALABAT GINGER for P75.
I would just recommend the pineapple herb to anyone who loves something fresh and citrus. It's made with pineapples and mint leaves. It just pairs perfectly with the goto, after all the saltiness and rich flavors, it's just so refreshing to have this drink.
TIP: It's comes with Calamansi that is required to be squeezed onto the juice to add that kick and hint of sourness.

The Salabat Giner on the other hand is quite surprising! I hate Salabat, I swear. Who doesn't hate anything with Ginger? Hahaha or is it just me?
Salabat are usually drank with warm water and is believed to cure hoarse voice, mild cough etc. but in this version it's AN ICED SALABAT DRINK, just like an Iced Tea in Salabat form. I liked it a little cause they added few teaspoons of sugar plus tea, it is also made of organic turmeric and not the powdered version so it's less bitter.

By the way, their service water is placed in a Kettle with the other condiments on the table. I find it cute hahaha!

I just had to let all my excitement with GOTO MONSTER out cause it's the first time that I liked it, thanks to them my perception of how Goto taste changed. Don't be surprised cause even during wee hours, the place can be fully occupied.

Sobrang thumbs up lang talaga dahil pagnakita mo yung menu nila, mapapastanding ovation ka. The meal line up will make you drool. Classic Comfort food lang talaga plus good times and good nights with good company. I'll never forget this dining experience.

Dubbed as the one of the best after-drinking spots, Goto Monster is a no-frills goto place that is open 24 hours and can be found in San Antonio Village, Makati. I lived in San Antonio for 3 years, yet I didn't know anything about it until my friends who live in Manila took me there one night (nope we weren't drunk).

The goto here is unlike anything that I had before. The goto itself is very thick, served in a big bowl with salted egg instead of boiled egg and bagnet instead of the usual pork intestine. It is really good, I was crazy for it for like a week. As any goto, it goes well with tokwa.

They also have other interesting food like champorado and bibingka-flavored waffles. But if you want dessert it's the ice-cream on stick that I'd recommend. For only 40 pesos you get delicious ice cream and they are not even your usual ice cream flavors. I was able to try banana chocnut and leche flan and they sure tasted like the flavors that they represent. Leche flan is such a delight that I wanted more.

They also have coffee by the way, which they serve with condensed milk.

It's a small place but quite popular around the area. Even at the wee hours, you'd see people coming in. Definitely one of the must-try places in San Antonio.

been dying tinted this place after my former office mate tried them last year.. And because it has been raining since last week, I have to satisfy my cravings and tonight I fancy a goto ( congee ) 128514128514128514. Drove all the way to Makati and braved the poring rain.
The place was small, I can serve 20-45 people. We wanted to order special goto but it's unfortunate that it's not available at the moment so we ordered the next best thing... Bagnet Special, we also
Ordered their pineapple peppermint slush.. The congee has a lot of flavor and the salted egg and Tinapa flakes really added to the flavor.. Pineapple slush was so refreshing.. 128522128522 both are really good.. I will comeback for more hopefully I get to try their Goto special next time..128077🏼128077🏼128077🏼

Try their goto, bagnetsilog and leche flan ice cream! Photo shows their most recent dish--fresh tokwa with dilis. All their dishes are yummy and reasonably priced.

I am writing this review based from my dining experience yesterday.

We had the infamous bagnetsilog of Goto Monster. They've been featured on Unang Hirit before and we thought we should give it a try. You will love the crisp of their bagnet which is served with a vegetable salad which tastes not bad at all.

Review points:
It is crisp and cooked tenderly.
Not too oily unlike the bagnets that I have tried before.
Serving is just okay for its price.
The dalandan juice is absolutely delicious. I am giving this a 5 star!
The vegetable salad is a wild one but doesn't taste bad at all.

Tried their bagnet goto for php95. Big serving of goto with half slice of red egg, bagnet, garlic, spring onion and chicharon. The goto itself is just okay. Nacurious lang talaga ako sa bagnet and instead of normal egg they use itlog na pula. Haha the bagnet was crispy! Di sya mamantika, but sobrang onti lang nya so dont expect, ako nasaktan na. Akala ko madami!. Haha The itlog na pula added flavor to the goto. Also tried their talong chips.. i thought chips talaga siya literal. Haha but it was deep-fried sliced talong pala. Haha
They are also open 24hours. Open area lang sya so expect some langaw and when we went, there were ipis.128546128545128584 They must do something about this. Hello, mej mahalay din ang price so baka pwede maparaanan. Hehe

Walking to this hole in the wall with my officemates, I was convinced and certain that I wasn't willing to spend 95 pesos (or more) for goto. Besides, it was a terribly hot day and who in their right mind would eat something that would make you sweat even more?!

But lo and behold when I saw their goto menu, I instantly ate my words (and porridge, soon after). I got their best-seller Bagnet goto. It had a generous amount of perfectly crisp bagnet, its pieces were balanced with the amount of chewy meat and crunchy (with matching crackling sound) pork fat.

The porridge was good on its own, it had a rich chicken stock flavor. The bagnet and red egg added saltiness and textures too.

But the real winner of this visit? The champorado waffle! It was still being cooked and I could already smell the cocoa in the air. According to the menu, they used Hershey's chocolate.

At first glance you'd think it's your regular chocolate waffle that's topped with ice cream but your nose will tell you otherwise. The flavor of the cocoa was as prominent as its smell. It tasted bitter, like a whole cup of cocoa powder was put in the batter, but it was perfectly complemented with vanilla ice cream. It was soft on the inside, and crispy in the right places.

Where's the champorado part, you ask? I though it would have puffed rice in between the waffles but it didn't. Instead it was served with a shot glass of dilis that added a fun flavor to the dessert. Sweet, salty, and bitter chocolate. That was a jam-packed dessert!

Try: Talong chips, bagnet goto and goto espesyal.
Skip: adobo spring rolls
Verdict: Go to PRC and look for Angeline's Goto. Espesyal goto for half the price :)

After a night of drinking, sometimes you just want some Filipino comfort food that'll warm you up before heading home. Goto Monster is a place like that.

My friends wanted to go here because they saw an article on Pepper.ph that it's an interesting place. So we went there after a night out at 2am. Good to know that it's open 24 hours. It also doesn't hurt that it's located 10 minutes from my place. 128513

Pictured above is the Goto Special. It's big and really yummy. It has salted egg, meat, and tinapa flakes! So it really is special. It was warm and delicious and it really hit the spot. Other than the Goto, they also serve a lot of different "silog" dishes. A specialty that I want to try soon is the Bibingka Waffle. It wasn't available when we went there so there will be a next time for sure!

Price is around 75-150/person. How's that for a cheap thrill? 128513
