I had to stay here during my recent business trip to Davao. It's just a 3-star hotel so don't expect anything fancy and grand (despite the name. Lol).

From the airport, it will take you about 15 minutes to reach the hotel. Airport transfer was available but I found it weird that they made us walk all the way to the parking lot instead of picking us up from the arrival area. I had 3 luggage with me but good thing the driver and the security personnel helped me.

The room was okaaaay. It has a mini bar, cable TV, work station, wifi access, and the bathroom has a tub and complimentary toiletries. I wish they also had bedroom slippers, steam iron, and hot shower(!!!). Aside from having to stand the daily cold shower, the shower head was incredibly rusty too. Afraid! 128547 Housekeeping should also be improved. During my 5-day stay, they keep on forgetting to give me complimentary mineral water. Also, there was a time that they accidentally forgot a pillowcase on my workstation, and a bottle of lotion on top of the mini bar when they made up my room.

Of course there are also things I liked during my stay here. First is the staff were very accommodating. They made sure that I always have what I need. I also liked their food though there were a couple of times that they served me lukewarm food. My absolute favorite would be the bacon-wrapped filet mignon (P1,600) which I had cooked medium rare. It was pricey but I had to have it twice because it was so good. The carnivore in me was very happy!

I heard the hotel is undergoing some renovations which I think they do need. I hope I get to give them 5 stars the next time I visit Davao.
