Wow, I checked my first review and it was February 2014 pa. But when I went back, it still looked pretty much the same. Still that little, dainty, and quiet place.

I ordered Kani Tempura, one of the appetizers. An order had 6 huge crab sticks served with teriyaki sauce and mango sauce. There were seaweed strips wrapped by the end and the middle of each piece so that added flavor too. Sooo good!

Their Baby Back Ribs was good too. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the extra sauce was a little sweet. It comes with a choice of rice or mashed potato and corn. An order can definitely be shared by 2 people.

Long overdue post!

Last month, for Isha's belated birthday celeb and for my advanced birthday celeb, my co-workers and I decided to eat dinner at Green Pigs. It's located in a residential area in Morato. My first impression was, it was very secured because (1) the place has its own guard, and (2) the guard would always lock it after a customer goes in/out the resto 128077🏻

The place looks quite dainty! It had strong Alice in Wonderland vibes (the tea party part) 128513 However, it was quite warm because the air con near us was not switched on; after the server switched it on, water began to drop form it after ~15 minutes.

Our orders came after ~20-30 minutes, which was acceptable because we were eight 128539 I ordered the CHICKEN PARMIGIANA with rice (You can choose to have it paired with either steamed rice/pasta). The serving was small. The taste was so-so; I compared it to the chicken parmigiana of TOSH, and Green Pigs' dish was less savory. After finishing my dish, I was surprisingly full. Not sure if it's because of my order or because I kept on drinking water.

I tasted my co-worker's order, the BEEF SALPICAO and PORK CHOP. Both tasted delicious! But then again, the servings were small, and the meat was not tender.

Isha and I were also given birthday cupcakes for free 128077🏻 The cupcake was too sweet 128533 (it's too sweet for someone who has a sweet tooth like me). We weren't able to finish the cupcakes, even if we shared it with our co-workers.

Overall, the ambience was very nice, but the food's taste can do better. I'd like to go back to this place to taste their best sellers.

Saturday night out with the workmates here in Green Pig to celebrate the July babies, Isha S and Nicole F. HBD GUYS! 127881127874

Just a small and quaint place with a lot of artsy stuff like teacups and such. They have a huge collection of these, btw! 128521

Food was just okay. Quite pricey for the serving. Their main entrees were good for just one, and price ranged from 200-300php. Good plating and presentation and they all smelled good though. Made us all salivate.

I got their Beef Salpicao (110881108811088️), not so chewy and the sauce tasted good. It had some mushrooms and garlic, which I liked. 128077🏻 I just tried my friends' pork chop, chicken parmigiana, and baked creamy sole (a type of fish similar to cream dory) . All of these 3 stars for me. They were not really filling. We had a lot of space for desserts! 128513 Eleanor T, Jan Therese C, Kathleen Kay A, and the others shared the same comments about the food. 128517

The place may look nice but the aircon was not functioning that well. We were all complaining because we were in our rainy day attires. 128514128517128517

REALLY GOOD HOME COOKING! Being so used to dining out, We were hesitant about the food in this very simple-looking restaurant. But as the meal progressed, we found everything really well-cooked, and ended up ordering more and more!

Eating here feels like being invited over for a comforting home-cooked meal at your favorite aunt's house! None of the food had that overwhelming restaurant MSG taste, instead they used quality ingredients to bring out the taste of the food. Great choice for a change of pace!

Starters:
ROKA SALAD-Good dressing but wish they used feta cheese instead of Parmesan.
PUMPKIN SOUP- Tasted like pumpkin! Meaning they used more pumpkin than cream/milk fillers.
ONION SOUP - Raved about! must try!
CAPRESE BRUSCHETTA- The tomato mozzarella dip was amazing while warm and the cheese was still gooey!

Mains:
BEEF SALPICAO-Addicting sauce and tender meat
SALMON FILLET- the quality of this dish can easily beat some fancy restaurants in the metro by a MILE!!! The meat was so juicy while the skin was perfectly crisp!
BABY BACK RIBS-if you like American Style ribs, skip this as the sauce is more of a Filipino flavor
ONION BURGER - The burger patty was surprisingly flavorful and juicy! We could see specks of carrot in it, looks like they make their patties in-house which we applaud! The patty went well with the caramelized onions on top too

Great place to bond with the kids after school hours. They enjoyed their creamy carbonara, grilled chicken panini, and clubhouse. The bunso ate his red velvet cupcake with gusto 128522 ! We will surely be back and try other dishes. Delicious and affordable food.

Yummy food at affordable prices! Plus the super cute place made our night a great one.

The Kani Tempura was good, they added strips of Nori which I liked. It comes with 2 sauces - tempura sweet sauce and mango flavored sauce. I preferred the former.

We all loved the Spinach Lasagna, it was not too heavy. The Crispy Salmon came in a semi-big portion (compared to other restaurant's measly sized salmons). The salmon fillet was thick and roasted so it was healthy.

The place was small but charming. The only gripe was that it closes at 9pm (we went there on a Friday) so we had to transfer to some place else dor dessert.

The first time I went here was their soft opening. We ordered pumpkin soup nd grilled chicken and it is really good. We met the owners and they gave us free cupcakes from @joaniescupcakes.

Last Saturday we went there for some hot tea and another set cupcakes.

The place has cute sets of tea cups which they also sell.

My first time coming to Green Pig's Kitchen! When I stepped into the restaurant, I felt like I was transported into a totally different place. Suddenly everything was peaceful and pretty. It's like the busy (and difficult) QC streets was but a bad dream. And all I wanted to do was curl up with a good mug of hot chocolate and tuck into a delicious slice of cake!128525

So we were happy (and very hungry) and ordered some appetizers and mains.

We started with French onion soup and Kani Tempura. Both were good but I preferred the Kani Tempura because it was unique. The batter was light and crispy (the way a proper tempura should be). And the two sauces (mango and teriyaki) went really well with it.

For mains, we had a spinach lasagna and baby back ribs. We were really happy with our choices 128522 The lasagna was cheesy and creamy..very tasty. I must admit at first when the dish was served, I felt like the size was a bit small. But it was actually quite filling. Lasagna came with a small serving of greens. The baby back ribs was even better. We loved their home-made BBQ sauce so much that we asked for extra sauce and just about used it for everything (meat.. mashed potato.. garlic bread from our lasagna..). The ribs came with mashed potatoes which was just as awesome! I mean, this is probably one of the best mashed potatoes I've had! 128525

Shame we were too full to try any of their desserts.

Service was good too - attentive and polite all throughout. The place was really clean which is very important for me (given how OC I am 128523)

Parking might be a bit of a challenge on busy days but we didn't have any problem today.

First of all, I love the place! I love how it's not somewhere crowded. I love the interiors. Simple yet classy. They have a cabinet full of different teacup set (which is for sale) & it adds to the beauty of the place.

We ordered their spinach lasagna & creamy carbonara. Their lasagna tastes sooo good! Although their serving was a bit smaller than what we expected, but it's still worth the price (220php)

Their creamy carbonara (180php) isn't that tasty. They should've added more salt & pepper, I guess? But it's still good

I would love to try more of their dishes! I will definitely come back!

Tiny place with a "moderately dainty" interiors (compared to Vanilla Cupcake and Larcy's). :)

I liked this Crispy Salmon Fillet: Pan-seared salmon fillet served on a bed of grilled veggies with a sprinkle of saffron sauce. Veggies were zucchini and carrot. It was tasty. Salmon wasn't dry and the skin was actually crispy. It's served with rice and you can have brown rice if you wish.128077

The place is small but painted with very feminine colors that give you the feel of a princess. Their walls are decorated different beautiful tea cups.
The owner is kind and accommodating to my request to avoid the food that might cause me allergic reactions.
The crispy skin salmon is very good with the salmon not over cooked at all. The garlic crostini with tomato basil mozzarella is also sooo good!

Their food was great! The Greek salad was light and fresh, the kani tempura was well made, the grilled chicken salad was oh-so-yum! Unfortunately, when it came to desert, I did not like the leche flan at all. But the creme brûlée was okay=) more than anything, the ambiance was really cute and girly, I loved it overall!
