The ambience is really fantastic and artsy. And the food is affordable. The employees are also attentive to your needs. We wanted to sit upstairs because it looked cuter there (and there were no available seats down so) we had a mini shoot because every spot looks great. I wanted a room like that haha! We ordered the griddle steak, pasta pomodoro, lechon tacos, houseblend iced tea and apple fusion.

The griddle steak is tender so it was a surprise it's under 200. But the taste of herbs is strong in this one, so if you're not a fan better stay away. Btw its their best seller 9786️ apple fusion drink is good because it has lots of small cut up apples and it's for detox! Lechon tacos - a bit hard to eat and had lots of onions so if you're not a fan just say less onions I guess? Haha!

Since we were the only ones on the 2nd floor, we notice the waiter kept on going up and checking on us. We appreciated the effort in making sure we were comfortable and attended to. Kudos to the place and the employees!

PS: me and my friend were talking about the LSS to closer of chainsmokers and i guess they kinda heard it because they played it a few mins after we mentioned it (or coincidence but meh)

TRY IT OUT GUYS there's not much people @ around 4pm i guess that's the time we went there

the steak would have been acceptable if they didnt put too much spice on the rub??? the curry flavor was overpowering and it gave me a bum stomach.

Back at Griddle and ordered Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Honey bagoong wings and the griddle steak. The bagoong chicken wings has an interesting taste but the buttermilk fried chicken is meh - forgettable. The griddle steak is still good though! 128568

Next stop on our short maginhawa foodtrip was Griddle. This new place in maginhawa just beside Theo has a nice Travel interior to it. The place is quite small but it was designed very nicely. Got an airplanes hanging on the ceiling. Tables got various passport stamps and passport designed as tissue holder. Wall has various pictures of different countries tourist landmark. As a traveller I love the simple cool concept of the place.

I tried out their Griddle steak which reminds me of the sizzling steak near school campus during my college days. It was a meal that I think that you'll typically find near school. The T-Bone steak tasted so so. Not bad but not something I'll be getting excited with. The meat also got an anggo aftertaste.

For the litson tacos, this one I liked the taste and flavors. Their version of pritson. The sarsa and bits of litson meat tasted good. This is something I'll order again.

Overall the place got a nice interior just quite small and packed. For the food it was cheap but need a little improvement. Especially their signature Griddle steak. 128522

Decided to start my review with a favorite lunch tambayan.

Hands down my favorite cheap steak in Maginhawa. The flavors brought by the griddle adds another layer of smokiness to the steak (esp the fat part!)

Not to mention the fact that they don't use "Australian Prime blahblah / USDA blahblah". Their protein is 100% Pinoy. 128077🏻

A cozy little place in maginhawa where you can enjoy the food while enjoying the ambiance. Ordered the griddle steak (T-bone steak with rice and corn and carrots for P180) and it did not disappoint. Meat serving is generous, although you have to eat it immediately before the "sebo" sets in (place is airconditioned). Overall, the steak is yummy for its price, the place enjoyable as well. Will definitely come back. 128077🏻

Had lunch here yesterday, and was not disappointed. Ordered the Griddle Steak, and was yummy, the steak was well-cooked and I love the kimchi rice, gravy was 128076🏼. The only problem I had was the mashed potato, because it was not properly mashed.

But, overall I like the ambience of the place. 128522

I don't usually eat out at fancy Maginhawa places when I'm broke (yes, please believe me - despite the majority of restaurants I reviewed here at Looloo can be found in Maginhawa lol. I'm a frugal lady, I'd like to think), but I do eat out for holidays. It just so happened that I haven't ate anything last November 1, and it's Halloween, so I might as well treat myself.
And thank goodness I did!!!!!!! I just went my merry way along Maginhawa, constantly asking myself what am I craving for as I surveyed each store. Then I remembered on my way to Theo's, there's this steak place that just popped out of nowhere and I knew I had to eat there. Dun na lang ata ako hindi nakakakain along that strip hehe. So I went in, and decided to sit at the second floor because there's a couple on the first floor and I didn't want to make istorbo their date. :D
Php 180 or 190, I forgot how much that steak cost but it was soooooo yummy, and the steak was easy to dig into. I savored my first bite and I knew I will go back, probably at a special day again. There was just so much meat and I thought I would need extra rice. I did stop myself, for health's sake. Overall, it was the BOMB! I really like their food, and I bet their other offerings are yummy too. They don't have a very extensive menu, I just noticed as I was ordering, but they are a steak place so it's not such a big deal. I'd say their steak was way better than that steak I ate from that really expensive restaurant at the first floor of Shangri-La (it was so preposterous I have deleted any memory of that place in my brain). So yeah! I highly recommend Griddle if you are craving for steak and want to celebrate the holidays by treating yourself to a sumptuous meal. :D

Ordered the following and Spaghetti Pomodoro w/ Pesto Chicken, Honey Bagoong Wing and their best seller Griddle Steak.

Food is okay, not so flavourful and it's already cold when they served it! I feel like they just re-heated it.

Food: 110881108811088

The ambiance is waaay better than their food.

Ambiance 110881108811088

The service is poor. They are slow in serving. We are the only customers that time, so they shouldn't have a problem preparing our food. What also turned me off, THEY TURNED THE MUSIC ON AND SING LIKE THEY ARE IN A KARAOKE BAR. THEY ARE LAUGHING LIKE THERE'S NO ONE IN THE RESTO. Sigh.

Service Negative star! 128514

Tried a 2-month restaurant along Maginhawa. Ordered Bagoong Wings (P130.00), Steak (P144).00), Fried chicken (P140.00), and Pork Belly (P165.00). Steak was tough and didn't have enough flavor despite its affordable price. Pork Belly was average but the ambiance was well thought of since obviously the owners love to travel (foreign passports as tissue holders and model airplanes as a chandelier). Highlight would be the scrumptious chicken. It's definitely way better than most restaurants but its price for a one piece is a bit too much. Staff were attentive and amiable. Their menu is somewhat limited as well. Not horrible but nothing to rave about.

Went here earlier and we ordered their supposed specialties: griddle steak and southern-style fried chicken. Was very disappointed.

Chicken tasted ok but the chicken is smaller than a cup of rice and the meal costs P140. They said it included a side dish and I chose corn and carrots, it tasted ok but it was served like a garnish rather than a side dish.

Griddle steak tasted ok but was very tough and chewy. Steak was served still pinkish but still tough. We ordered mashed potato as a side dish and it tasted bad. It didn't have enough butter and salt. The serving is miniscule like the corn and carrot, yet we didn't even finish it. Its bad that paying P180 is way too much.

The ambience looks good, they had a travel theme going on. But the food is so-so, some ok, some downright bad. It's also over-priced for what you'll get. We won't come back here.
