Preparing our tummies for our soon Seoul trip, so after studying in Starbucks, my sister and I decided to have Korean food for dinner before going home one Thursday night.

Been to Grill Bistro before and I think they were under a different name then. The interiors and menu were pretty much the same though.

It was an early dinner so not much people were there. We were actually the only customer when a group of friends came in when we were almost done with our meal.

I got the ordinary bibimbap that cost 200 bucks while my sister got a rice bowl with beef strips, seaweeds, and veggies. Sorry i forgot how it was called. I have the hardest time remembering Korean dishes names. I only know samgyeopsal, bibimbap, kimbap, and kimchi. The others are alien to me. Wahaha. Anyeong!

My bibimbap was enough to keep me full. Just right for one person to eat though it really looked small when they served it. It had the basic bibimbap ingredients in it. You have the freedom to how much red sauce you want to add. Plus point for not too spicy lovers like me! My sister's order was pretty okay for me. I did not like that much because she added a lot of spicy sauce! Anghang!! I can't taste how it's supposed to be. Anything spicy is just spicy to me. 128514

Our order came with three refills of the sides. Kimchi, baby potatoes, and seaweeds. Not bad. I'm still not a fan of kimchis 128514

This is samgyupsal (P350) and bibimbap (P200.)

We were here for a midnight "snack" at 2am. I love that they're open til 4am!

Service was awesome, too!

After work dinner here with workmates because it was the despedida of one of our friends. We ordered their samgyeopsal and other grilled pork stuff. It comes with the usual unlimited sidingsss like the lettuce and etc. I really liked the baby potatoes and their Korean salad. 128077🏻128077🏻

Their Bibimbap was heavenly! It was really spicy and I loved it even when i was sweating like crazy! Haha 128517128517

I think they serve Korean food close to legit already! This is their only branch in the Metro, i think.

The place was okay. The only bad thing I can say about this place is the waitress that was assigned to us. Super masungit and idk if she's PMS-ing or something 128518128518 She could've been more friendly! 128531 and because of her i give them four stars only.

This is one hidden gem in Tomas Morato! 128516128516

Was walking with my friends down the Tomas Morato strip having a hard time deciding where to eat when we passed by this place. We finally decided that this would be a nice place for dinner.

The interiors are nice and cozy, the first wall you see is filled with pictures of celebrities who've eaten here. They also have a second floor. Side note: I don't know if their stools are pretty small or my butt's just really big huhu haha.

Anyway, we got samgyeopsal (pork belly) and galbi (beef), which were all grilled by the staff, and 2 cups of rice. We paid 920 pesos for all that. Sides are served including kimchi, seaweed, chap chae, etc. However, they only offer 2 refills of each side dish so they're not really unlimited.

Overall, pretty decent experience.

Really good Korean food. I like that the dishes were seasoned lightly to complement the flavors of the side dishes and special sauces.

I'm not much a fan of Korean food. Aside from bibimbap, the shabu-shabu and the grilled meats, I don't know what else I like about it. However last week, Camille R was persistent on eating Koren food. Thus we ended up at The Gu-i, a Korean joint beside KopiRoti, Tomas Morato.

We ordered the Grilled Pork. For only P350 you get delicious pork grilled right in front of you. This comes with unlimited sides such as chap chae, bean sprouts, veggies, etc.

Not bad for its price, this menu is already good for two. We ordered additional rice which costs a whopping P60. Well at least we were stuffed after that feast.

Grill bistro "the-gui" is a Korean restaurant located at Tomas Morato. Gui means grill in english so expect a lot of grilled dishes. What we ordered was the Yummy pork bellies for only 300.00. Along side with the unlimited chapchae, macaroni, lettuce, cabbage, mushrooms!!! Budget-friendly and Yummy!!! This resto is a perfect place for the night owls like us as well as of course the K-pops. We got to avail their free Home-made leche flan plus korean ice cream by uploading a food photo and following their IG account. I honestly don't love Korean food but 'Gui' changed my preference. :)

The beef are great, Very generous with the side dishes ... Until you give up. The Korean couple owner are hands on the business, they will visit your table to make sure customers are satisfied.

Nothing really special here, just your average korean cook-at-the-middle-of-the-table w/ unli sidings restaurant. Service was good though and quick. Price is a little bit on the upside though, be ready to shell out around 800php for 2. We enjoyed the desserts, especially the red-bean flavored ice cream sandwich shaped like a fish worth around 65php. We'll definitely go back for that!

From Zango to Katsu now this place is Gu-i korean grill resto hope this one stay long. Love that they didn't change the interior of the place. When it come to korean resto I always love the generous amount of side dishes. The galbi they serve are also delicious wrap in lettuce with a little kimchi perfect! You should also try their cold soba it is also delicous mixed with slices of pears. :)
