Grill queen barbeque is one of the really good, fairly priced ones you can get today. The high quality meat is marinated for hours, and then grilled over charcoal to give it a nice smokey flavour.

Tip: call in your orders a few hours before to avoid the long wait. You may also want to try their grilled pusit and grilled bangus!

Lunchie with my friend. We ordered Grilled Pusit, Hotdog and Barbecue. Taste good and reasonable price. But the place are full of flies which will bother you while eating. 127842127842127842

Christmas last year when the family was craving for a fun dinner. We had novhoice but to spend it here kasi sila lang ang open! Mostly all the restaurants are close or fully packed. We've been to the bigger Grill Queen branch but they say it will take us 30 mins to 1 hr for our order. Yaiks! ang dami kasi namin and ang daming tao talaga.

We ended up eating at this branch na masikip and pang take out lang sana...gosh, kundi lang masarap ang BBQ Tilapia, Bangus, Longganisa and Pusit nila!
We saw small cockroaches partying on the plates! 128534

I have always enjoyed grilled foods. Especially grilled fish, chicken and also those grilled little street foods like isaw. If you like those too, you should try in here. The new place was very comfortable to dine in, it is not airconditioned but they got good air ventilation you wouldn't mind not having an aircondition. The food ofcourse are as good. They have these set meals you can choose from. Cheap and affordable but it's a thumbs up.

I always order isaw (bituka) and usually take out my order. It's very cheap and for 60-70 pesos I can eat two full meals (i.e. two rice). When I go with my sister I taste her liempo, which is also a good choice, but more expensive. But I'm disappointed that they don't have paper plates and plastic spoons and forks for takeout. Also there are flies everywhere, and the area is not very big and can get crowded at times.

When in doubt, eat barbecue at Grill Queen. We've been their customers for a very long time now. My personal favorites are barbecue, Grilled Liempo, Chorizo de Cebu, isaw, and Grilled Tofu. They have good Grilled fish too especially the Tilapia.

They have a new dessert available. Before it was just Buko Salad, now, they have a healthy fruity ice cream. It's fresh, it doesn't have any preservatives, no sugar and milk needed to make it tastes good. Yummy!

I've lived in Teacher's Village for as long as I can remember, and it's such a shame that I hardly eat out. Especially when my village is starting to become a great foodie area.

But I guess there's a first time for everything, yes? Haha. And today was my first time to eat at Grill Queen! (I bet people who personally know me are snickering at me right now... Le sigh)

Personally, I think you can never go wrong with inihaw food. Because Grill Queen is an inihaw restaurant, I can say that their food was nothing remarkable. It's not excellent, but if you are craving for lutong bahay food, then this is a good place to go to.

I'm a sucker for inihaw na liempo, so I ordered a serving of that for myself. I like my liempo just rubbed with salt and nothing else, but this liempo was slathered with barbecue sauce. Meh. It was okay. My friends and I ordered their longganisa. To be fair, it was very tasty, and it reminded me of the longganisa I ate when I was in Cebu.

My friends also ordered isaw, inihaw na tokwa, binagoonan, and inihaw na talong. I didn't bother trying those out because I am not a big fan of isaw 128533

I would rate my visit 128077128077128077 because of the following: yummy food, affordable price, proximity to my house. I am giving it 128078128078 because the service was so SLOW and the place had poor ventilation. Otherwise, I have enjoyed my visit to Grill Queen.
