We had the pumpkin soup, lasagna and the pizza for our main course and all of it tasted really great! And got the tiramisu for dessert which is also very good.
We will be coming back again.

One of the best Italian restaurant that I've been to. Visit them today and get 15% discount. I got a free packet of onion and garlic breadsticks too coz it's their anniversary today!

Quattro Formagio is so good and their new Spaghetti Parmigiana. Also, the only restaurant that offers Swiss Muesli cake.

My family and I were looking for a place to have late dinner. It was a good thing we were able to catch this place before they closed.

What I love most in Italian restaurants: the free bread, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar. And they serve them here! Yey. (Because apparently, not all Italian restaurants serve free bread. Boo! You're not real and I hate you! Just kidding. 128539)

So we ordered four cheese pizza, seafood marinara, and aglio olio. When you ask the servers for the serving size and they say 1-2 people, DO NOT BELIEVE IT. IT'S A LIE! Because the only 1-2 people who can finish that plate would be giants. Honestly. Their serving is humongous. It's more like for 3-4 people. How we managed to finish everything is beyond me. (Or maybe because it's really good?)

Let me start with the pizza. Oh. My. God. It's amaaaaazing. Like I know I'm a big fan of four cheese pizzas. But some do get it wrong. Some make them so bland I don't understand. But this is just bursting with flavor. And I wanted to cry because I was so full but I still wanted to continue eating. Tongue vs. Stomach War due to pizza.

I was not impressed with the marinara (since I'm not much of a fan of red sauce pastas. I'm more of the white sauce type of gal.) but my dad and sister loved it. And let me tell you, it's not easy to impress my dad, especially with pastas.

The aglio olio was great. The garlic flavor really highlighted the dish and I like that it's not so oily.

Will definitely go back to try their other dishes.

We visited on a saturday afternoon with no dining crowd yet. I love the interiors! Its so spacious, clean and it's a place you can relax. The couch area is very comfortable.

We love the mango and watermelon smoothies and got excited to see that they have a separate entry for fresh pastas (ravioli) they make so I ordered that (spinach and feta ravioli).

It was disappointing! The pasta was so dry and hard like it wasn't defrosted properly. I just gave this comment to the manager and he said they would look at it.

But the place is worth a try maybe with their other entries. I personally won't be back anymore because it is out of the way and I find there is nothing special to look forward to.

If you want to try eating a pizza with crispy potato fries on top, you should go to Grissini Ristorante!

This pizza has three types of cheese in it topped with crunchy potato that gave it that unique twist needed! 128077🏼

The restaurant was nice! We were served some food breadsticks and bread with some
Olive oil and balsamic vinegar. We had the following items;

1. Ravioli with spinach and mushroom in cream sauce, which we sent back to the kitchen
Since the spinach was still quite cold, and the onions in the cream sauce was still raw. When it was returned, it was palatable.
2. Squid ink rissoto. This was ok. Aside from it being black, it lacked flavor ( we asked for some lemon
And parmesan cheese). It also lacked the creaminess of Rissoto.
3. Panacotta. 2 days old, with crustiness on the top layer..... They should
Not serve this.

Will try the other
Food next time. The prices are affordable. We paid 530 pesos for the three items.

Newly opened Grissini just added life (and light) to a once-dark and lonesome (end) part of Gil Fernando avenue.

I've been waiting for this Resto to open ever since the owners of Beeffalo told me about them. Their excitement can be really contagious and so when I chanced upon seeing their "Now Open" sign, I readily agreed to have dinner there with a colleague of mine from work.

Love the interiors and their very accommodating staff. Had a few laughs with their waiter, Kevin, when my friend ordered CIC, which the waiter and I couldn't find on the menu. CIC apparently stands for Coke In Can, which my 40-something friend made up to sound cool and hip. It was a funny (failed) attempt. But both Kevin and I couldn't help but laugh. No, they don't have coke. Kevin said they only have PIC. Yes, you guessed it! Pepsi in Can. Haha what a game and friendly waiter they have there.

We ordered Osso Buco, 14" pizza and pasta.

The Osso Buco was tender and tasty. Though my friend thought it was rather bland. The risotto that came with it was creamy and flavorful, but I like mine on the more mushy side.

The pasta was ok. It started to dry out though during the course of our meal.

But I like the pizza. I think they made these from scratch as they were able to serve this to us last; half way through our meal. I. just love the way hot mozzarella pulls when you try to get a slice, don't you? It's Just so yummy to the eyes... And fills your mouth with heavenly bliss. ;D *sigh.

Anyhow, if you're looking for an alternative Italian Resto in the Marikina area with ample parking and classy interiors, check them out. They're at the other end of the Gil Fernando Avenue, just across Beeffalo. :)

By the way they have fresh pasta - ravioli! Must try that next time!

Benvenuto!128076

Another newly opened restaurant in Marikina recently opened. Grissini Ristorante finally opened its second branch here in Marikina. It's first branch was located at Naga and the owners was from there too and decided to open here in Manila. Lucky I was able to meet the owners during my visit last Sunday afternoon before going to Church

One of the owners is a friend of my co-parent and her daughter is studying also where my daughter goes to school. It was a small world after all. She introduced me also to the other owners and they were nice and very hands on to the resto.

Grissini Ristorante was located at Sto. Niño Marikina City. Just across of the former Beffalo who now became Burgers, Wings and Steaks,

You'll definitely love the ambiance, it will give you the taste of Italy, very modern and spacious. They have the opened kitchen were diners can watch them food being cook in a wood fired oven.

First they served us bruschetta as appetizer. After few minutes hubby and I Aglio E Olio Classico arrived. An oiled based spicy pasta which both of us liked then Lasagna Al Ragu came next for my two kids, huge serving and nice plating. The kids didn't much like maybe their taste is the typical lasagna but when I tasted it it's not bad at all. Then lastly is the pizza, Quattro Formaggio 14" . So thin and cheesy that will melts in your mouth.

For desserts, they have this Pasticceria section and you can order your favorite cake, one of the owners bakes it. I got a separate order, got panacotta who used to be my favorite , 100 pesos and the taste is good 128077

Total bill is 1,239. Before we left the owners gave two complimentary panacotta for my two kids. The servers was nice too and always ask us about the food. Service is good and so it was a great Italian fine dine in experience here.
